Its a Pontiac Firebird, the highest trimline of the firebird is Trans Am, Thats why the emblem is a firebird. They come in the base version, Formula, and Trans Am. However most older people refer to them as just a trans am. Every Trans Am is a Firebird but not every Firebird is a trans am. It'd Be like calling a Ford Mustang GT just a Ford GT, (which are two different cars)

For Corvettes you may see numbers like C4, C5, C6, and so forth. The number is just the Generation # and the C is just what they use for Corvettes. The current generation is the C8. You were seeing a lot of C5 and C6 Corvettes there. The C5s were the ones that had a more tapered nose, while the C6s looked like a Dodge Viper in a way.

Not sure how far that is from you, but you can look up American Muscle car shows in the UK to find various events. The "Alfred" car was a Chrysler 300, some models come with the Hemi 5.7 litre. This way you can look like an executive with class and power. Lol.

0:15 No electric car is making that noise but as someone who owns a lot of high end cars from classics to electrics, I assure you taking off in an electric car is something combustion cars will never match outside of top fuel drag racing. My DAILY DRIVER is electric and does 0-60 in 1.8s with a top speed of 210mph (338kmh). There aren't any gas powered luxury sedans doing that. That isn't even my fastest EV and the only combustion car I own that compares to that is my Aston Martin One-77.

Right now, one the best values for the money would be the 95-04 Mustangs. Even the V6’s are reliable and fun transportation. But really any of the 95-04 Mustangs with V8’s are an amazing vehicle for the money. The New Edge is my favorite Mustang. I have had three of them, a ‘99 GT 5 speed hardtop (Laser Red), a 2004 Mach 1 (Azure Blue) and my current one is another 2004 Mach 1 (Torch Red) with over 700 horse to the rear wheels. It’s a beast to be sure.
I was stationed at RAF Mildenhall from 2008-2012 and while there I was heavy into the Classic Mini scene. I owned 4 different Classic Minis while there. Fun cars, they are also near the top (if not number 1) of the most iconic and influential cars in the last 100 years.

I was born USA in 1959 and ive been addicted to the sound of big block V-8's and the smell of burning rubber all my life - smoked quite a few tires myself I dare say.

Don't know how many car shows are around Boston, but i'm sure you could find something if you have the time. Every car that drove by i kept thinking...yep that's definitely a Fat's car!! (even though i know her love for Shelby's, i could definitely see her behind the wheel of a Chrysler 300) Love your videos Yass and Fats

The weekly Spring/Summer meet that's nearby where I live would blow your mind lol. I get the impression you like modern V8 muscle cars as opposed to classic V8 muscle.

As an American I just had two things to add:
It is not an "Eagle" on the front of the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, it is a Phoenix...
Not all Dodge Challengers are the Hellcat trim, also the Dodge Durango and Charger also have Hellcat trims...

8:18 mustangs and camaros are the same. theyre a decent price but def worth the money! 8:28 the NEW GT500s that are 760hp are $80,000 to $120,000

watching brits geek out over chrysler 300s is the funniest thing to me lol, the v8 ones sound pretty good but they're basically less cool versions of the charger that wanted to look like a rolls royce so bad for some reason. We do love a good hellcat swapped 300 though.

A lot of mustangs, older corvettes and older RTs. Be nice to see a HellCat or Demon in the mix.

1:16 That's the SOLID rear axle at play on both the white Trans Am and the convertible red Camaro behind it.
But when you master it, it's a great tool to whip the tail at will ANYWHERE.
Also A LOT CHEAPER to maintain too, compared to an IRS setup there's nothing to adjust after replacing all worn linkages.

the thing is, it's the torque as to why some of them are being careful on turns. Especially, Mustangs, it wants to kick out from under you. I had to put sand bags in the trunk to weigh the back end down because of the torque.

We used to go over to the east side here in Orlando and the street racing scene would real deal like early fast and furious sets. Once you break 120mph it ironically feels like you’re going slow and the wheel gets tight. Dangerous af, one of my boys wrecked out but luckily we all walked away. Still have a homeboy doing car shows but he’s into low riders with switches rather than hemis now 😅

Man! Some nice classics in there! That red hotrod is dope; just need some bigger wheels/tires in the rear! And I thought, I saw a Dodge Dart in green with black stripes?

If you guys want classic American muscle cars perhaps look at 1967 Corvette stingray with the 427 ci engine, or the 1967 Shelby mustang aka Eleanor with a Ford 427 ci

I grew up hearing these exhust notes! In America, you will see at least a dozen of these types of cars just going to the grocery store!😂 I own a 2021 Challenger RT with an aftermarket exhust, and it's music to my ears!☺️

There's a good few american motors car clubs in uk Most working class people here only bring them out for shows or weekend or meet up as unlike America the petrol prices here are very very expensive per gallon ,and the American v8 likes a drink .
