- In this final episode of "The People's Court," the plaintiff brings her twin sister to court because she ruined her shoes and some of her belongings. The plaintiff is suing her twin sister for her destroyed property. The defendant says the plaintiff stole her clothes, and they're basically even.

Because she’s a young impressionable girl whose parents couldn’t really tell her the reasons why it’s wrong when they did it and dad got the mom pregnant. Their example shows Angel that the age difference doesn’t matter. Between the older man manipulating her and the family turning against her , this is the result.

I have cousins I grew up with (saw them every day and had sleep overs every weekend), and yet when one became homeless and asked can she stay with me I said NOPE. When you do so, it'll ruin the relationship. They'll live off you and you'll grow resentment. I would rather help them with a temp place or just give them money than allow them to stay in my home.
@@dbabies82 That's all logical and fine, but she ended up in a SHELTER. He only paid for one hotel night. This guy is a bad one and Angel is in the process of learning a life lesson. She seems to miss her dad the most, no man apart from the soulmate she will hopefully meet one day and marry, loves her as much as her family.

The defendants family is the problem too, how you gon' put hands on the defendant, when the plaintiff was clearly manipulating all of the mess between the defendant and the parents. There's definitely something wrong with the plaintiff.
The parents ain’t it either. How you gonna throw your own child into the street because you don’t agree with her decisions? Yes, she’s young and impressionable, but how do some people learn if not from mistakes? The parents would rather go on another cruise than parent their children.

She’s amazing.
She never interrupted unless it turned back to blaming. She knew the twins needed to get to a better headspace and remember the love. This was absolutely heartbreaking and joyous
She raised 3 daughters around the same age. I’m sure this was like a day at home for her 😂

she said he has a child and a cancer patient at home and who knows what other family members. he got her a hotel, i think its best the boyfriend did not move a 19 year old partner in that could have escalated the situation. what if she couldnt leave? i think the boyfriend made the right decision, its sad she went to a shelter but she also didnt tell her family that. i think the dad woulda let her in. its sad she has no outside family friends besides the boyfriend thats also a problem

I love that the judge hugged the twins. I can't imagine my twin sons disliking/hating each other because of an outside person's influence. I pray the twins and family remain close.

I’m literally in tears. These girls need parental guidance and mediation to resolve these small issues. But they don’t have that. So small issues have become big issues. The pain in their voices man. They need an adult in their life which clearly by the way they talked , the parents are regularly not around.

One other episode I remember from a number of years ago where the judge laid into a father who was suing his daughter. I don't remember the circumstances, but do remember the defendant showing a letter her father had written that said horrible horrible things about her, and also said she was disowned. The devastation on her face was heartbreaking, and Judge Milian was furious. It was epic. She even might have said he was the worst father she had ever seen her life. The defendant won if I recall.

It’s sad to see the defendant up there by herself with no support, while her sister has their dad. I can understand them not agreeing with her decisions but to ostracize her will affect her for the rest of her life. Especially ending up in a shelter. I hope they’ve worked through this as a family.

The fact that not even her 30 year old boyfriend didn't show up is clear the defendant made the wrong choice. Either he doesn't care enough to support her (which is clear since he let her stay in a shelter) or he doesn't want anyone in his life knowing he's dating a 19 year old.

These ignorant, irresponsible parents should have helped their daughters resolve the situation instead of ignoring it, turning their backs on the girls, and selfishly enjoying a relaxing cruise on Christmas when they were well aware there would be problems at the house between the twins but simply didn't care!

@@elvickRULES Well specifically in this case they are twins…so that’s number 1. And 2 speaking for experience and understanding that everyone within siblings but you’re twin is one person your most equal to or supposed to be. Twins are often labeled at a very early age one good /one bad.

This episode was extremely emotional, I miss my sister dearly who passed away, I hope that they will be able to maintain there relationship.

It's part of learning about the real world and it hurts a lot of people, but it is a natural phase. It will all be good one day if she learns from it.

I just loss my twin brother recently. When I heard her say from cradle to grave it just broke my heart because we were the closest pair of siblings there ever was. He was my best friend. I was the other half of his soul. That's what he said to me. I miss him dearly 💔. I thank her for saying that.

Honestly cradle to the grave stuck with me so much! I am literally 10 toes down with my siblings vs anybody parents included. My parents also don’t pick sides and would never pick one for shelter over the other no matter what big differences we have. Boyfriend or not that they consider the problem love your kids THROUGH their mistakes and that’s where a lot of parents drop the ball. Standing on one side instead of making them stand alone is ridiculous. They did petty sibling stuff court was NOT necessary and you can tell she longs for the same love from her family that the other kids have. She wants her twin back and she wants her twin and family back. I hope they resolve it because nobody literally wins when the family feuds. This had me in tears at the end truly praying God’s hand guides them to greatness.
This made me cry, thank you Judge Milian for what you did for these sisters. It was the most heartwarming, special episode. Just having someone outside the family listen and bringing perspective. She cleared the path for healing.
I have to confess, this is the first time I needed a box of tissues for The People's Court! Judge Milian orchestrated a truly heartwarming reconciliation between two twin daughters who desperately needed each other. It must have been agonizing for their father, who was clearly at his wit's end with their intense sibling rivalry. Judge Milian's wisdom shone through; at the end of the day, it's about shelving petty differences and embracing forgiveness. Twins have a unique advantage, sharing a womb and a bond that most siblings can only dream of. They are best friends from womb to grave.
The absence of their mother is still a mystery, leaving their father to mend the fractured relationship. The fact that the sister (defendant) was forced to stay in a shelter must have been emotionally crushing. Both were visibly distraught, each blaming the other for reasons we can only speculate on in this brief segment. The way Judge Milian brought them together at the end, including their father, was a testament to her extraordinary approach to family dynamics.
I bet there are those who will overlook the positive outcome and focus on the negativity. Perhaps this is because they, too, are grappling with their own inner turmoil and fail to see the beauty in moments of reconciliation and healing.
As a side note, I just watched until the end and didn't realize this case was literally the last episode of The People's Court. What a fitting conclusion to a show that had a great run for 39 years. The reference to The Mary Tyler Moore Show, renowned for having the best series finale ever, was perfect. Judge Marilyn Milian emulated that iconic ending by turning off the lights as she walked out the door.

I'm so glad that I had a great relationship with my twin sister. She passed at the tender age of 24 on Dec. 8, 1986 from a damaged heart valve.

As a twin and 5 months pregnant, I just cried literal tears 😭. My sister and I got into a really big fight at 19 years old too. It was ultimately over my sister’s choice in men. It took months and our mother’s persistence to get us to make up and be best friends again. I’m so grateful for my mother doing that. I have the upmost respect and appreciation for Judge Milan bringing them together. It brought me to tears because THEIR mother should have done that before it even got to that point.
Fast forward & my twin & I are 25 YO & the bestest of friends. We experience life together. It is a blessing to have your very own best friend from the womb to live life with. TWINS IF YOU EVER READ THIS; PLEASE MAKE UP. You’ll go through so many trials and tribulations in your own lives and through everything, you’ll always have each other. 🫶🏾

This is typical for older men dating young women. His presence in her life slowly leads to her isolation from everyone else in her life who loves her.
If her dad would've been a real dad, she wouldn't have to run to some older bum to seek love.
Its only in America an older man dating younger is looked at weird. This is common in most countries but now i understand why the divorce rates are so high with yall
@@Ceedee824I’m from another country and I know how those older men also abuse those younger women and sometimes girls. And the reason they stay married is because in most cases the man is breadwinner and the woman or girl has no choice then to stay.

Like the plaintiff said at the end if she hadn't summoned her to court they wouldn't know anything about the defendant. The defendant was blocking the family.

Then hugging the girls - that was the most sweetest thing I’ve seen I in ages. ❤
That was very unexpected. Very sad case because they both seem like very intelligent girls. And hearing her start to cry after saying she was staying in a shelter really got to me.
I hope she dumps her boyfriend and Stays close with her family.

@@nunyabiz12345 100% disagree. Both of those twins were disrespectful and that $60 is still owed for use of the fridge. When you have children a home is definitely an obligation, if you don't want to take care of your kids you don't have them to begin with.
