DK is too slow, and everytime you play excavate you just think to yourself "why I'm playing this when I could've been playing Marrowgar instead?" Marrowgar is so strong and makes me think this for every DK deck ever, it needs to go, otherwise it makes everything else inferior...
The death night excavate reward, isn’t the main wind condition, I believe that it instead pairs with plagues extremely nicely, and having that extra little push with the excavator stuff getting really good value and tempo swings, and as well as you can get a lot of healing if you revive reska or primus because ultimately plagues can play for tempo, but they can also play the long game as well
I think the reason people keep playing league is because the highs feel really good, getting a good team and everyone working together and steamrolling or facing another team that works together is awesome, it's just that there are also many lows where everyone just screams at each other
Along with that, a lot of champion kits are just super fun to pilot. Also because there are so many champs you are bound to vibe with at least one heavily.
Steam rolling the enemy team isnt even that satisfying. The most satisfying games are winning those games you had no buisness winning by literally dragging the 4 ragdolls you call teammates to the enemy nexus and win the game by carrying them
There's also just no other game like it honestly. Dota Is similar but also extremely different. If you want the itch scratched that league offers there really isn't anywhere else to go
18:10 I agree that the Rat has seemed rather weak in my Excavate DK games so far- I've had a lot of success running UUF with the Plague package, but a big part of that is often using Rat to resummon The Primus, rather than other big minions. Using two Primus to get extra max life can get you out of range of Warlock/Mage/Paladin burst, not to mention the card generation. Plus, when it's reborn, the abilities reset- I've gotten two Blood Rune activations off one Rat before in a game.

I guess, if you don't, you play excavates for your main class. I think your idea has some merit, but it's more in the MarkMcKz meme territory.

One thing that make me feels that the Azer Scorpion is weak because the spells it gives are random and straight up garbage. Not to mention your hand count problems, which if you are not playing miracle rogue with locations or wishing well rogue, you will always 'my hand is full'. One thing that can be done to buff it is by giving the random spells all cost 5 or above with 8x excavate turning them 0, or making it same but it proc after 6x excavate. What do you guys think?
I think it was really good since I wanted to be an iOS developer. If you don’t have that interest, try to find something you are interested in and specialize in it. Full stack development is also great

Blizzard gave me 40 standard packs 40 titan packs and 4 ketchup packs. Opened em all played one game and uninstalled. The game doesnt feel like it used to back when the first 3 expansions were out
Also the talk about they not having the tech, or whatever, and having to wait for a patch to change a card is pure BS... it's all because they don't wanna push a patch before what they have programed, probably cost they more money, and if I'm not wrong this also when the team get the most time off since is the last expasion for the year... and is around thanksgiving...
I really wish Excavate Warrior was better, its such a fun controlling deck, but it just ends up being too slow in the current meta and can get run over quite easily
It is because Warrior has not good enough early game control tool, excavate is very good in CW because of Brawler and the excavate cards are very good for a CW deck.

Well... Excavate with the normal rewards are "just as" fun/random as traditional hs xD, but legendary rewards are whatever😮💨. When they announced this mechanic I expected the rewards to have something to do with the archetype of the deck, but no. Besides rogue and dk the others are meh🫤, warlock snake was good but why created a new mechanic just to get these lame rewards? Why does a warrior need to summon 2 odins 😅 or a mage get a random titan? 😒 I see no point on making Excavate eclusive of these classes, could be on any one or just a new collectible card.

with maestra rogue, if you pretend to be warlock, with the right hand (aka just a bunch of hand-back cards) you can easily OTK with the snake

You can do that in wild in a reno rogue deck if you are feeling spicy (10 mana zephyrs on a even board should give you jaraxxus hero card)

It's a good reference but it's not always immediately obvious. Questline Druid was a deck that took a while to find itself at the top for example.
