- Everything was peaceful in City 17 until some no good civilians and rebels decide to start causing trouble for the poor Civil Protection. Watch as the Combine deal with players through checkpoint experiences and combat in this wacky 3 and a half hour long PvP event that was run through Ignis Corp.

@@alephkasai9384 When the desync happened, the server was registering the tractor as still moving, and moving into the back of the immobile APC at that. Thus, when the server finally caught up it went, "Ah, I see, this tractor and APC blew up." And so they did... With every last one of us around them.

Assement of Overwatch Elite Commando “Rubix” #19117:
Elite Rubix has shown general incompetence, ranking lower then even his unaugmented CP counter parts. Despite this, Rubix has lead multiply operations against insurgent elements and has come out not only alive but also having completed all mission objectives; with a high friendly causality count amongst his unit.
Rubix commands Civil Protection Subtask Group 31, otherwise known as “Ignis”, a rather peculiar subtask Group, with rather eccentric personalities amongst there ranks. Despite this, Central has allowed the Subtask group 31 to remain in operation rather then being scrapped as Stalkers. Unfortunately, Ignis would meet its end during the City 17 Uprising, with Rubix and his command squad being wiped out by Anti-Citizen One (Gordon Freeman)
This was the last transmission from Ignis lead

I have another head canon that during the ending of episode 1, you never see Barney in EP 2, my speculation is that Ignis Corps overran Barney with metro cops, combine soldiers, and also the head Elite of the squad. Rubix.
Barney was being escorted by 4 rebels that were heading to white forest, till they heard multiple combine voices, elites sending out squad signals. Rubix told half of his unit to go to overrun Barney and the 4 rebels. 3 Normal rebels and 1 medic. Barney had his AR2 Holstered since he didn’t think any combine were near. But he took his AR2 once he heard the footsteps of the combine. He got confused as he heard Metrocop alerts.
“What the hell are Metrocops doing out here?” Barney questioned
The footsteps got louder and louder, to the point where he thought they were right in front of him. Like they were playing ring around the Rosie around his escort. Then, it was all clear. The combine unit “Ignis” jumped from cliffs and edges and started unloaded their clips. Multiple soldiers died. Barney was shot in the arm and his stomach. The bullet struck his stomach and flew straight out the other side. Rubix rounded up his troops.
“Yo why you passin’ through the forest the fuckin’- the fuckin’ entrance is through the cave.”
“Fuck you combine BITCH!”
“Alright. That’s a line you’ve crossed motherfucker.” Rubix would laugh, he unhinged his backpack from his back and took out a sticky-bomb, he turned it on and planted it on Barney’s chest.
“Idk man. This seems kinda cruel” A Metrocop elite would call out
“We’re combine aren’t we?” Rubix turned.
Rubix would call in a dropships with a 2 gunship escort. The Overwatch would sigh of annoyance to hear the voice of Rubix. She obliged and said “Access Granted” the gunships and dropships would collect the remaining men of Ignis Corps and fly off into the distant fog. The Overwatch Team Ignis didn’t Join the White Forest assault. As they were ordered and also supported by Hunters once they were ordered to go back to their post. (City 69 😏) The rebels found out about this base and decided to OVERUN it with the legend that survived 2 life-ending Incidents. (Citadel blowing up, ep 1 train crash. Etc) Gordon Freeman. The last thing that was heard from Ignis Corp was “Yo why this muf’ using a wooden plank to fly into the air- YO THIS GUY DESTROYED OUR HUNTER-CHOPPER WITH A FUCKING SPOON! HE HAS A CHAIR! OH GO----“

What the combine soldiers really look like under the suit is horrific, if you get promoted they remove your arms and legs replace them with robotics, remove most of your guts and replace them with machines ,and tear out your eyes and replace them with cameras. Real body horror stuf if you look at the sketches and art

The delightful thing is, Jay forgets that construction workers can be accredited to handle and use explosives for demolitions work. The unit is just stupid and doesn't read signs indicating this building is to be evicted for demolition. That will always be my cover story.
Also when it comes to calling blood, Kool-Aid the proper response is "stop questioning Soylent Green incorporated! or we will stop giving you rations! You do not anger the the people who make your breakfast!"
