- Ignis dives into the jungles of Khe Sanh as everywhere they go they are met with unrelenting chaos and traumatizing experiences. In this operation we trudge through S.O.G Prairie Fire Mike Force as we desperately try to secure the map, being blown up plenty along the way.

yes but not the same overall destruction, it would level the city but you could survive it, you're not surviving anywhere near the center of a nuke and wont be surviving there for a while after.

@@klayman2 basically the b-52's are like punching and the nuke is stabbing. They may have the same energy but one is more concentrated and deadly than the other

Truly a unrivaled experience, from using a “limited” amount of Willy Pete to getting real PTSD from the color green
The fact that situations like this happened in Vietnam, and that friendly high level bombers and rotor wing attack choppers flattened and laid waste to entire US Forward Bases because they were overrun by VC and NVA, and that there were a handful of surviving US and Friendly forces inside some nondescript bunker?
Its terrifying to think about not knowing whether the enemy or some high yield ordnance would be the thing that sends you to meet your maker.

This is great. From the timing of Tails getting his head shot off in the pilot seat, to the DOOM music segment (however short it may have been), to the huddling up with a bottle of Whiskey to the sound of Vietnamese and Brimstone.
Prairie Fire gave me one of the most insane ARMA experiences I've ever had. Was in a huey that got shot down by AA, and flung from the wreckage, somehow surviving the initial explosion and subsequent fall to earth by hitting a tree on the way down; and eventualy regained consciousness as a squad of VC walked past me. I managed to sneak past them, still horribly wounded, and up the hill to the AA guns that wiped out my squad and chopper, shooting the gunners and placing satchel charges.
As the VC squad that I avoided before, and more enemies returned after hearing my gunfire, I touched off the explosives, clearing that part of the airspace, reported in to my team, and went down swinging in a hail of gunfire.
What a hell of a way to die.
Truly material for an amazing memorial.

S.O.G Is the best dlc. I spent 15 hours in a server when it was just released. The map, the helicopters. The weapons. Everything is just the right amount of "nam" feel.

This DLC is insane. The atmosphere when you were in the bunker and could hear VC yelling outside is ridiculously good.
We made it to instil fear, real fear. And it worked hehe
@@b-52eggbeast88 Only way to truly understand what the men who went over there had to experience every day, and every night, and some still suffer through even long after the guns have fallen silent in that conflict, but so many came home to be seen as monsters.....................That war was just fucked for the poor bastards who got caught in the middle: the grunts.

lol I had that exact dual goggles talk with a guy in a helicopter. told him safety comes fourth and then we got shot down and I lived clearly because of my extra goggular eye armors. felt rather justified in my style choices.
