Big Smallmouth Fishing in Maryland River!

In this episode I fish for giant river smallmouth. Maryland has beautiful rivers that contain a healthy population of smallmouth bass. Nice smallie, I got my pb at Liberty res and caught quite a few at the Loch heading into the cove towards the golf course!

That's a massive smallie. I've never really fished I'm rivers before , just lakes. What's your recommendation for DMV rivers for smallmouth? I want to try.

Yeah the Monocacy has a lot of smallies. Not many big ones, but lots of smallmouth. I’d recommend you look for an area of the river with rocky bottom. Try the Monocacy and the Potomac. It also wouldn’t hurt to kayak the river, just be careful with current.
