Love watching your videos and the content within. I used to travel to D.C. and the surrounding areas twice a year for work but never got the chance to fish. I passed over the Patomac in several places and could only imagine the fish that it held. What I would do now to rearrange my itinerary. Keep the content coming!

Is that up near Paw Paw and Little Orleans? The campground looks familiar. Great spot. 50 fish in two days with my Dad. Was going to go this year, but they I called Bills Place and he said the water level was really low. October 2023.

Always good content. I use to live in Reston and fished those ponds and lakes in that area. I used Chompers tube baits and slayed then bass in the area. In Arizona now and for some reason it's harder to get a tube bite out here. Tight lines my friend!!!

Where on the Potomac? Point of Rocks used to be awesome about 20 years ago, but the water levels are so low lately , that the usual spots are only knee high. That area looks amazing.
River is so high right now its covering all the boat launch ramps
I was debating trying a kayak, but, man, that current looks HOT in there. Are there kayakable sections?
There are some calm pockets but it's all about getting to them that's sketchy.

Smallmouths have serious anger issues, right down to the red in their eyes. Pound for pound the meanest fish in the river. You slayed them. Kudo's to your guide Jeff who knows his stuff and put you on them. And congrats on you new PB! After seeing the rake marks on that one bass you caught I thought for sure you might tangle with a musky before the day was over. Maybe next time.
