Grand Crusader is pretty good in paladin if the deck supports him. My unique deck i worked on for half a year has 2 of them, and they work very well there. Had 75% winrate to rank 5, so no it wasn't a disaster.
I've seen Eye for an eye lethal once. It was not even in deck, it was generated by Yog AND it was BM from player who had it on him, he played Yog hunter. There's no potential for that card. If it mitigated dmg at least, it could be useful.
Seriously, Farrow? They were normal, good decks. Kripp just likes to blame "amazing decks" every time he loses. If he was the Paladin that faced all that insane dragon synergy he would've called this dragon deck one of the best decks he's ever faced. But when he knows the reality of it, he calls it one of his worst. The mage deck for sure had way above average amount of removal. But I faced a warlock today with just as much removal, and a board clear, and that's a lot more rare than a mage with lots of removal. That last game he lost because he drew none of his early game until it was too late. It had nothing to do with his opponent even having an above average deck. Any deck that didn't draw as bad as he did would beat him. That's how it goes sometimes. Especially with decks with too much late game.
Greg Jackson Let me rephrase; Those decks were relatively insane, especially considering he was at a very low amount of wins. He said it himself, he wouldn't expect the quality of cards he was against from an 11 win deck.
Farrow He said it, but I don't buy it. I see decks like that on a near daily basis. Also, often a 0-0 game can be really tough, because you can be matched up against a deck of any strength. When you're at 2-2 or something, a deck as strong as the first mage deck would be much rarer. But it still happens, because any deck can draw its cards in the wrong order and lose because of that.

The moment he played that, I asked myself "How bad were his other choices for him to choose Finley"? No dis on Finley. He's not a bad card. But you don't pick him over a good or decent legendary.
In arena things are ofcourse diffirent and you tap waaay longer which makes the card so much worse.. But i actually really like finley. If his ability was pick any rather then discover i would consider him not far of dr boom levels of broken. It is ofcourse never a legendary that you are hoping to get. But alot of legendaries are actually pretty average cards that if your deck simply doesn't need a card in that mana slot or it has a little bad synergy with your deck. That i could easily see finley being the choice. I did a quick look at all the legendaries avaible to warlock and i think i might pick finley over roughly 34 of them. This is going of the assumption that i am satisfied with my deck curve as is and that those other picks don't randomly have insane synergy with my deck. Ofcourse if i really really need 3 drops even with relatively few battlecries a card like brann wll be rated alot better. But if i don't need 3's and i don't have a good chunk of beneficial battlecries then finley over brann is the idea.
Tou know. Maybe Kripp is right. Maybe am I a failure. Maybe, I will quit Hearthstone. But don't be worried guys. I always be there in the comment section, if you search me long enough.
I think rather than constantly be surprised at the 'crazy' decks out there in arena Kripp should just raise his standard of an average or normal arena deck. Arena has changed!
I always keep track of which decks Kripp says are "literally constructed" so that I can recreate them and see how well they do in wild. Then it also validates his statement.
why does kripp always whine when the opponent "topdecks" something useful... like topdecking some damage when kripp has 2 hp left and hes like "oh of course he will draw something that kills me because whats the chance of that..." but when he topdecks left and right hes not all too surprised :P
When you topdeck something out of your own deck not only are you obviously less salty but because you know your deck, the odds depending on what they are you can also feel less lucky. Imagine you had a 30% chance to draw a card for 3 turns a little lucky to get it maybe. Not only is our mind programmed to more strongly remember and pick out the negatives. (You would much prefer focusing on that 1 negative hungry tiger then the 99 positive things) Because you don't know your opponents deck it becomes a he topdecked this card not out of 1-10 say but out of 1 in every single possible card he could have drafted. So when your opponent say topdecks that bloodknight maybe he could have drawn it for 3 turns and he has 10 in the deck. Not only does it feel lucky that he drew it which you don't know if it was. It also feels incredibly lucky for him to even have the card when you have divine shields on board.
I'll never take Gnomish Experimenter, ever. No matter what it's up against. EVER. The couple of times I did take it, it screwed me over so hard. I even remember it wrecking my Tirion in a run two different games. HORRIBLE card.
you are not losing a draw, just a card in your deck so its not as bad is it makes you feel if you transform a big minion. and when it draws spell, its insane.
Yes he did lose Tirion which was his next draw.I used to hate Gnomish Experimenter with all my heart until Kripp/someone else explained it but it still doesn't change the fact that it's a trash card.
Let's see how long usernames can get,I guess they can pretty damn long like really long That's not how the deck works, it isn't a fixed order like a physical deck of cards. At any given draw you can draw any card still in the deck with equal chance, it's not determined until the draw happens. Also I'd bet money on the card eventually being insane in wild, don't disenchant them if you get them. They will keep printing spells that summon minions every set. Eventually some class is going to have enough that you can put this in a deck where it just reads "3-mana 3/2, draw a card" which is way more efficient than basically any other 3-drop in the game. That's the nature of a good CCG, situationally bad cards can eventually become amazing through the introduction of new support.
Its an app called HearthArena that you can get from a company called Overwolf. Its a free download with their program. It helps you draft and then it becomes a deck tracker.
That last warlock was 2-2? :D I have never drafted so many demons... and the guy had like ten voidcallers. Then again he used his darkbomb on a silver hand to avoid taking 1 damage to his minion, so no surprise if he lost two games. Even if he kind of played around muster, he had imp gang boss on turn 3 to play.
i was a 7/0 mage and played against a 8/2 paladin ( i add him as a friend after the game ) so sometimes the opponent might not have the same score as you
+TheZomboy11 below 3 wins the opponent almost always has same amount of wins and losses as you because the pool of players is very large... there is a lot smaller pool of players at 8 or 7 wins.
friday i took a 0-2 to 11-3, you could image how happy i felt. But it also shows how much luck is a factor in arena, that deck could have gone to 0 or to 12. the deck had a bad curve but very solid individual minions as a warrior.

I'm fairly new to HearthArena so excuse my ignorance but, how does he have it so that it appears on the game screen like so? Is it editing or is it really a 3rd party program? If so what are the qualifications to use it?
it happens sometimes. i had decent warlock deck (i would say 5 wins one) at 3-2 i faced a shaman with 3 weapons (axe, powermace and twilight hammer), 2 hexes, 2 fire elementals, 2 board clears and 2 stormcrack.
Hey Kripp, i have had an idea for a card, it would maybe not be so good but i think it would be a funny concept, so here: I have 2 ideas, first one: 4 mana 3/3 Broken-o-Bot Battlecry: Drop a ball on a random enemy minion, whoever it hits swap the stats with this character (this card would maybe have charge, i don't really know if it would be a bit OP, and this swap stats concept wouldn't really be played in early game) second idea: 6 mana 5/5 (I don't have any name for it, comment a name for the card if you want to) Battlecry: Summon 2 Broken-o-Bots (these Broken-o-Bots wouldn't have charge, but their effect and stats would be the same as i said at the top) say what you think about this idea if you want to :)
People don't ever need to 'experiment' with me, I slot into every deck perfectly like a hand into a glove.
More like a foot into a glove
Na-a, Purse into a condom
More like Kripp's head into his shirt hole.
You're not,funny, nobody loves you, you're just,a,sad,excuse,for,a,card.

"This guy is playing literally a constructed deck right now"
To a board with a lance carrier, gadgetzan jouster and a grand crusader.
And all the removal you could possibly wish for.
i thought the same thing and it made it more amusing that the jouster didnt win his joust leaving a 1/2 ^^
Those spells doe
When he says that he means a constructed level deck

Was 0 points XD

he just said it
in an aggro pally, it can be ok. i see potential for it, but it's definitely a late game card, possibly for finishing off your opponent
I've seen Eye for an eye lethal once. It was not even in deck, it was generated by Yog AND it was BM from player who had it on him, he played Yog hunter. There's no potential for that card. If it mitigated dmg at least, it could be useful.
I laughed when he said "This is a really cool deck" and it was followed by the headline, "Reality Check".

you bet it brotha
- Create greedy dragon deck with little to no real early game drops.
- Proceed to lose to better decks.
- "Game's bugged!"
In fairness some of those "other decks" were like nothing I've seen in arena before.
Funny how chat pretends like getting 7 removals in the first 15 isn't insane
Seriously, Farrow? They were normal, good decks. Kripp just likes to blame "amazing decks" every time he loses. I think thebest salt comes from reynad
that's why we watch, to experience the salt ;)
That Mage had more removal than constructed tempo mage.
Dragon Paladin in Arena...? Nope, I'm more surprised(if not really impressed) that someone picked sir finley as a legendary in arena...
The moment he played that, I asked myself "How bad were his other choices for him to choose Finley"? No dis on Finley. He's not a bad card. But you don't pick him over a good or decent legendary.
they had to be something like Darkfisher and lorewalker cho
I picked Millhouse manastorm over the beast and nat pagle but I just really don't like those other cards and Millhouse is possibly playable in arena
But if i don't need 3's and i don't have a good chunk of beneficial battlecries then finley over brann is the idea.

clips.twitch.tv/nl_kripp/SuccessfulGrasshopperBloodTrail better 4 mana 7/7
In this video: Kripp picks a crappy deck with a bad curve with a tiny wee bit of dragon synergy that he calls experimentive then cries about losing.
Totally Not A Potato I guess.
That warlock at 2-2 though.
he actually cries about facing crazy decks, not really about losing
this deck was pretty experimentive by arena standards.
at least that thing is constant,he always cries about loosing. and rng. and draws. and opponents. and everything.
I fucking hate Gnomish Experimenter I have no idea why anyone would ever pick it.
free cycle + draw a worse wisp, not perfect but can change your draw order in or against your favor and gives u a card
Also sometimes, you have to choose between Gnomish, Magma rager and Grimscale. You might not like the card, you'd pick it anyway.
I think in a spell heavy deck its quite good tbh
In a spell heavy deck your few minions are usually crucial and deck defining. Turning them into chickens would be catastrophic.
Eh, it's better than target dummy and secret keeper
0:00 Don't skip the Kripp

I should've been there for you Kripp :(
I could've made the dragon arena dream come true...
Kibler would be proud.
Kripp was already so salty at the end of the first game, then the King Krush was the final nail in the coffin LOL
Every time i experiment with murlocs, tiny fin always carries.

Opponent plays 2 spells so far, - Kripp - "opponent have shit tons of removals so far"
damn how happy kripp is with his dragon synergy and how he gets rekts after it :D thats a fun video

This is a normal instance often occuring when a streamer playing childrens cardgames for a living, loses a game and the salt starts building up.
Have you ever fucking played hearthstone, guess you never do that.

completely agree. allowing you the guarantee of having a 1 mana chicken to play is not worth losing pretty much any other card in the game
you are not losing a draw, just a card in your deck so its not as bad is it makes you feel if you transform a big minion. and when it draws spell, its insane.
You didn't lose Tirion, you just never drew it that game. Unless you went all the way to fatigue, which happens but isn't particularly likely.
Yes he did lose Tirion which was his next draw.I used to hate Gnomish Experimenter with all my heart until Kripp/someone else explained it but it still doesn't change the fact that it's a trash card.

17:25 his hand at the end of turn 5 is, naturally, four 6-mana cards XD
welcome to my every arena runs
Where is DJ Kahlerino? 23:54
Is he editing the heartharena over hearthstone or is it a program like the deck tracker?
Been trying to figure this out for a while.
Google Heartharena companion app my friend, thats what kripp uses
Its an official Heartharena app that does the overlay and deck tracker automatically
Why does he use it? Does he actually trust its opinion or does he do it for promotion purposes?
He likes it because it uses raw algorithms instead of player opinions.
what is that add on that's telling which cards to pick?
So is Kripp adding those stats in editing? Or is their some sort of addon now that tracks that kind of stuff?
What is kripparian using to make card rankings appear when drafting his deck?
Well, all of the salt combined from this video still only equaled out to 2 minutes of watching Reynad. xD
How does he get the arena comparison thing in game? Is that new or a plug in?
Its an app called HearthArena that you can get from a company called Overwolf. Its a free download with their program. It helps you draft and then it becomes a deck tracker.
welcome to every arena game I play ever
kripp now knows my arena experience
What's the system Kipp is using at the beginning for drafting arena cards for which one is best?
I lost it when the first game was named "reality check" xD
that is 2 wins more than my usual arena runs....
Anyone knows the name of the app that he is using ?? and were can find ?
whoa whoa whoa, what is this fancy shmancy stuff i'm seeing with this arena deckbuilding screen? i haven't seen that in HDT!
Every time I try to experiment I turn a late game drop into a chicken
that last game hurt me. he had equality consecration combo, decides to play consecration because of who knows why, can't win because of it.
What is this drafting mod called?
Heartharena Companion
www.heartharena.com/overwolf
I am really curious too :)
Heartharena
heartharena overwolf
+ToraAnbu overwolf is the platform its on, heartharena is the specific plugin for that program
I fought a N-Zoth mech paladin at 0-0 the other day. How often do you get 6 deathrattle minions spawned with n-zoth in constructed, let alone arena?
I have a question, how did you connect your account to hearthstone? To get evaluate the picks directly , like him
friday i took a 0-2 to 11-3, you could image how happy i felt. But it also shows how much luck is a factor in arena, that deck could have gone to 0 or to 12. the deck had a bad curve but very solid individual minions as a warrior.
What is that program that he uses for that the program says this is the best for your deck and in the tier list?
want it 2 :D
21:28 if he would have attacked first into it and then board cleared it would be a 2/1 instead of a 2/2 misplay confirmed!
Welcome to my world Kripp, it's even worse when you 2-3 and get dust instead of gold.
"I thought my deck was pretty good but uhhh apparently its the worst deck ive ever drafted" hahahaha
what app is that kripp used to craft arena deck??
what's the name of the Webb sait were you got the helper for arena a need it ?
what's program have Kripp to help create deck in arena ?
That's why I don't play Hearthstone
Read, he said he doesn't play HS, not that he doesn't like HS. My bad, potatoes can't read.
I don't know who's trolling here
Can you tell us why you are here then?
+Totally Not A Potato no he is here because he doesn't have a life
+Totally Not A Potato I quit playing hearthstone for a while but kept watching kripp along with a few others. not like it's uncommon to watch videos on games you don't play.
22:17 Has it ever occured to you that the snipers might prefer to snipe you when you have a weak deck?
How did you get that arena helper?
what arena add on do you use, kripp?
What program is kripp using to choose cards?
What is the name of the add on who gave % of pick arena card ???
Whats the like app he utses to see all the text and score? Or did he do it himself afterwards.😅😂
What time does Kripp stream BST?
Video in a nutshell: "I go up against properly-drafted OP decks that should not exist using a gimmicky garbage deck and am surprised when I get stomped."
what's up with the helpers while drafting?
I'm fairly new to HearthArena so excuse my ignorance but, how does he have it so that it appears on the game screen like so? Is it editing or is it really a 3rd party program? If so what are the qualifications to use it?
What is the program which helps you to choose the best cards?
hello can please what is that addon you use for arena?
i need the same answer :C
it's a hearth arena thing, go to their site and check it out from there
Is the Gameplay at a higher relay speed then normal ???
Can someone please tell me what's the name of the programm showing him the tier scores of the cards??
Is that an addon that he's using during the draft? What is that?
What plugin are you using to draft?
it happens sometimes. i had decent warlock deck (i would say 5 wins one) at 3-2 i faced a shaman with 3 weapons (axe, powermace and twilight hammer), 2 hexes, 2 fire elementals, 2 board clears and 2 stormcrack.
what is the name of the program he uses for rating the cards he gets in arena?
22:20 Is like Squires life time from right to left...
Hey Kripp, i have had an idea for a card, it would maybe not be so good but i think it would be a funny concept, so here:
I have 2 ideas, first one:
4 mana 3/3 Broken-o-Bot
Battlecry: Drop a ball on a random enemy minion, whoever it hits swap the stats with this character (this card would maybe have charge, i don't really know if it would be a bit OP, and this swap stats concept wouldn't really be played in early game)
second idea:
6 mana 5/5
(I don't have any name for it, comment a name for the card if you want to)
Battlecry: Summon 2 Broken-o-Bots (these Broken-o-Bots wouldn't have charge, but their effect and stats would be the same as i said at the top)
say what you think about this idea if you want to :)
What does Kripp say at the very beginning??
What are you using to give you arena draughting tips?
Basically, did you manage to link Heatharena to your game?
Ah, companion app. Thanks google :)
whats the program he used to choose arena cards?
man i love playing games with krip on background :p
I dual screen and play ranked while watching Kripp to my left, it's great :)
Hi guys can someone tell me what is name of this program that Kripp use for draft ?
Im playing on EU and dont saw it when i draw arena deck
What apps use kripp in arena? And see cards that he have used?
Hey Kripp, what arena draft app do you use?
Heartharena Companion
HearthArena Companion
thnx
What is he using to create the deck?
Rania, the baby is crying again!
5:38 It's all chicken now
What's the addon he uses to track cards?
What is he using for the ratings on the cards
Whats that addon/thing that shows you the tier list of each card? Please respond Krip. X.x prob never will. IM just a lonely subscriber.
I drafted a good beast hunter... I lost my final game at 4 wins to a top deck MC tech and a flip spare part...
