I have this radio it's good for music but after 2 years the wifi won't work so nothing will update and GPS is not operable the back up camera flickers and looks like it's in 720 p ...and when it's cold the radio will light up but not come on no matter haw many times I reset it .this radio is a blessing and a curse

Yes. Carplay is effectively an extension of your phone. You download apps to your phone and some apps, including most radio apps, will have Carplay versions of those apps too.
I just watched your video on how pleased you were/are with the unit. Are you still pleased with it? Any problems 5 months later? And was it plug and play like they state. I'm like 1 day away from pulling the trigger on one myself
I've only had one problem with a converter box that converts fords backup cameras to work with the radio, but they sent me a new box without a fight so I'm pretty happy. It's entirely plug and play. No splicing or weird shit involved.
Hey man I was looking to get one of these for my mustang...were you able to keep all your original features with this mod? Do the steering wheel buttons still work with the radio and did your original backup cammera still work?
I recently bought a 19 superduty king ranch and my stereo lacks too much and is slow I'm thinking in going this route did you install it or you went to a shop what's the total cost?
I did it all myself in my driveway. you need a 7mm socket to get all the screws out of the dash and pry tool that comes with the radio. Everything is plug and play on the radio. No wire splicing.

I havent used carplay but Android Auto works great. To my understanding you keep heated and cooled seats in the front. I don't see anything in the interface for the rear seats.

@@jacobhogan380 Hey no worries! If you need any help when you install it just shoot me a message. The amount of wires can be a bit overwhelming when you install it, but all the cables are labeled and plug and play.
It doesnt have outputs for an amp, but you can still use a line out converter to install a system. I can make a video on mine if you want. It's very simple.
I have a Ford Edge but their picture on their website looks so sketchy. It has a foreign language on it and the installation isn't done. Why would you put up a half done installation as advertisement? Buyers can't see what the final product looks like. Very fishy. Why can't we have legit companies make these radios with instructions and installation videos it shouldn't be that hard.

Their website says that the AC won't come on with remote start. Do you know if this is true?
I don't have remote start in my truck, but if your radio gets power when you use remote start then the ac should work.

All the steering wheel controls work. All the cameras work like stock, plus I can access them even when moving forward or parked.

How long did it take for you to get your unit? I want to get one for my car but I'm not too sure how long shipping will be.
2 weeks from when i ordered it. The shipping itself was about a week, but they took a week to get it sent out.

yes it is. only tools used are a 7mm socket, phillips head screwdriver and a plastic pry tool that comes in the box.
