I’m so pissed off. This was my childhood show. It’s sucked for years, but we had those two amazing episodes, so I had hope, then I saw the finale. It had so much potential. It wasn’t hard at all to write a good episode. Eric Wallace deserves nothing after this.
indeed, this finale wasn't even that good. They probably wanted to do more but the show ending earlier than he planned forced him to change what he wanted plus Grant tested positive for the virus when they were filming this so who knows how much they had to swap out because of that.

I actually saw this coming from the beginning, as much as I love Cisco and Caitlin they are the ones that started the spark of the side characters getting more prominent throughout the show with the exception of them having strong build up.

We see a 20/30 minutes long battle where villains chased Barry from all directions, godspeed showing his true speed and being in two places at the same moment like I'm comics and making his multiple clones, reverse flash making his speed mirage, zoom making his time remnants, Cobalt blue using his different kinds of abilities, Savitar showing his true potential and all of them using different kinds of speed force constructs and Barry was dodging their attacks. All the speedsters running so fast that they were getting teleported from past to present to future and to the natural forces all at once! At the end Barry has to give up being a pure hero and go for killing them as he has no choice at all and the final ending fight takes place which is a boundary between the negative and the positive forces. I'm 100% sure that Chester is meant to a self-insert character for Eric Wallace. His over the top personality, his love for Allegra, the catchphrases/ echo, the fact that Chester somehow always avoids any major injuries or death...
You know what they should've done? Replace the filler (other than 9x09), with episodes that actually contribute to The Final Arc. That'd be *7* episodes to set up Cobalt Blue, bring back the old villains and actually make them decent, AND have the Full Circle episode. But of course, *Cecile Horton* and *allegra garcia*.
Actually imo, split 9x09 into two episodes, and give the Cobalt Blue arc 6 episodes in total, because I felt they could have done this storyline properly with just 1 more episode.
Imagine if they Delved into Wally a little bit more and say that somehow with Bloodwork inside of him.... tapped into the negative speed force and brought it to 2014 by accident! The negative speed force then feats on EDDIE

Cisco vs rf is fine, but i would put Frost against Savitar, considering she was his ally. With zoom, I'd bring Jay, and i guess Nora would be with Cisco helping him, because Cisco doesn't have a good defense against super speed.

I thought the whole season, especially the last episode was incredible. It's incredible how in the end the whole team got superspeed and super strength in the last episode that allowed Cecile to fly and also defeat dozens of Godspeed clones when just last season they had an all out Speed Force war. I also love how Kiyone basically told us that 'no one is going to die tonight, like she was breaking the 4th wall', and how Chuck had superpowers that he didn't know about. It was incredible how powerful Nora was and was able to phase her belly button and spine so that Savitar would fail to stab her. Then she casually just stabbed him once - remember when Jesse did it he ran off - but this time he just laid down and basically went into a coma. Then Zoom decided he would rather just threaten to kill everyone and then run around and around in the tunnel rather than you know...kill everyone. I'd like to think that the last time I saw Thawne this season was in episode 10, so I totally blocked that part out because it brings into question why Eddie needs to be the avatar at all. And Cobalt Blue's plan was incredible, when he found the others in time and space and said: so you all fought a good fight, you spent a season tormenting the Flash, you even solo'd him at one point. But ultimately you were defeated. How would all of you like to come back, combine your power, experience, anger and thirst for revenge for like 30 minutes or so to you know, lose immediately? Then after absorbing massive amounts of negative speed force energy, I really loved how pep talks and the power of friendship lead to an awkward friendship between the positive and negative speed force. It would have been incredibly satisfying if the bad guys won. I loved Seasons 1-2 and even 3. Then there were some good moments, but imagine ending such an epic legacy with a 13 episode season that only had 1 episode that didn't absolutely suck. Rant over...Grant was as incredible Flash, but even he couldn't outrun the real big bad, the writers.

Grant Gustin deserved way better writers. I think if the showrunner for the first 3 seasons was called back this final could’ve been one of the greatest work in television history. This whole season could’ve been about the origins of Reverse Flash and Cobalt Blue, what happened to Zoom of season 5, a redemption for Savitar and maybe give Godspeed a good scene or two. And this all would culminate in an epic speedster battle royale where Barry and Savitar could team up and fight Reverse Flash, Zoom , Godspeed and Cobalt Blue. That would’ve been epic. The possibilities are endless and there could’ve been multiple full circle moments giving closure to multiple things. But no. What we got was Eric Wallace’s Cecile and Friends guest starring The Flash
What I don’t get is why they changed the color of Eddie’s lightning to red. They even had Nora have blue lightning when she was possessed by the crystal but when Eddie got it they just threw it away. Isn’t that the whole point of Cobalt BLUE?😂
They did it with the other speedsters too. It kind of makes sense because they're supposed to be powered up by the Negative Speedforce which most didn't have before (though it somehow made them weaker than their previous episodes? lmao), but it would have been so much better for them to keep their original colors, like Zoom with his intimidating blue or Godspeed with the white.

Same with Savitar and Godspeed. Also agree with Cobalt Blue not having his blue color as it’s not just a nod to his namesake but it’s also his color from the comics so they should have kept that.

I love how in Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 Episode 6, they go to Star City in 2046, I know it is a different timeline, and Oliver is old and grey which means at least at that time they cared about things like that.

yeah this is so so much better but honestly the introduction of saviatr,zoom,RF and godspeed should have been in the beggining og the season and seeing them connect and have LONNNGGG conversations instead of seeing fuckin the most BS side charecters tht no one will ever give a shit about talk to each other along with the infinite fillers
I like this script better than what was given to us but only not the killing part. When he destroys the crystal, all of the other villains dissappear as well sorta like what happened in the show with eddie taking the speed from them. The scene where thawne's crowd is stolen at the end is really the only way they could have added it in.
Arrow did all the right things with its last season. Flash should’ve followed a similar formula even though the writers weren’t planning on killing Barry off. Having every speedster villain would have been cool if the writing was better, and if the supporting cast got less screen time. Arrow found the perfect balance between giving Oliver and the supporting cast screen time.

Yeah, with Barry being so set on saving Eddie's life you'd think HE would come up with the idea about him remaining the avatar of the negative speed force. I like the idea of 'sometimes the devil you know is better than the devil you don't' being able to convince him to be the avatar to avoid dying with someone that is a bit levelheaded is better than Eddie passing on and someone even worse taking over that speed force...
Season 9 is probably the worst season of the whole show. Red death was trash, too many filler episodes for a shorter season with a terrible support cast that nobody cares about, and colbat blue arc was insanely rushed when it should have had glimpses and hints sprinkled through the whole season. The only 2 good episodes was eobard thawne episode in the past and the episode with oliver. How sad this is how the flash and arrow verse ends
My problem is how hard they keep statting down Barry to prop up other characters rather than trying to boost other characters to match Barry's badassness.
It’s insane how a show called The Flash goes out of its way to not be about the Flash. It’s like Riverdale with Archie Andrews where they give him the worst subplots and keeps him away from the main story.
Nora/XS showed up as a main character in Season 5 right? That was the Cicada season if I remember correctly... It was the first season where I noticed that Barry felt more like a background character in his own series. Season 5 came off as the Nora show feat. Team Flash (including Barry himself). As time went on, we had Cecile with more powers, Cisco leaving, more Team Flash members coming in and Barry felt shoved to the back where you could count the number of times THE FLASH actually appeared in a single season of the show on one hand that's been through a wood chipper...

What CW's Flash problem lies truly on how they handle their episode structures. The episodes always ends at a cliffhanger the a villain setting up his/her motive in the next episode. Then followed by a filler episode nothong to do with the villain and at the end, sets up the villains story yet again. It always pieces itself until the end of the season and expects us emphatize with the villain.
I saw this coming when the whole concept of "The Team" evolving pass being more than just tech/science support for the CW shows in general which was going to inevitably change the entire flow of the shows which was going to change people enjoyment of the shows.

I agree but back then, the show also had a lot of redeeming qualities that made it interesting. Ever since crisis, those redeeming qualities were just deleted.
This really bugged me that they tried to cram so much into this season. The mirrorverse arc in S6 and S7 had a total of 13 episodes, same amount of episodes as this season and even that arc wasn't well-liked. How did they even imagine that lesser episodes for each arc would solve this issue?
They should have had Barry encounter all 5 Speedsters and face them all by Himself using their attacks to counteract each of them similar to Spectacular Spider-Man's Sinister Six episode

A missed opportunity for the 2048 visit was that they could have had Cecile see Jenna, now 30 or so, and see her as a superhero too. It was originally because of Jenna that Cecile had her powers in the first place, so follow through and show that she has powers too, and Cecile trained when she was ready for it. Yes, it would be similar to Barry and Nora's story, but why not at least have that part of the episode mean something? Speaking of Nora, why not show her and her relationship with Jenna? Jenna's not that much older than her, so even though by blood, she's her half-aunt, they way they'd grow up together, they'd be more like cousins. What a waste. No, I'm not advocating for /more/ focus on Cecile, but if you're gonna do it, do something interesting with it.
The saddest part about this Season is the fact that they're wasn't any mention of Cisco😢😢 I've been watching this show since I was 10y old and it is sad that it's gonna be forgotten since the ending wasn't worth our time

Giving thawne blue lightning would’ve been weird, should’ve just given him a red one but if they were gonna be lazy, 3.5/5 lightning colors would’ve been better than 1/5.

I still think that the last villain(s) for this show should have been the rouges. A true rouges gallery. Having Reverse Flash being the team leader and finally having that red skies moment at the end.
They could have Focus the season in Eddie, explaining better why he becomes a villain and have an entire season about the dilema of flash trying to save him but nope, they wanted red death and a lot of Filler
The worst thing eddie does as a villain is beat up barry and causes some property damage, that’s it, he doesn’t actually kill anyone. I guess he revives the other villains but reverse flash is the only one who actually does anything and it’s completely devalued because plot armor. No stakes, no investment… the ending is ok I guess? but also kinda cringe with the dialogue. It’s just weird to me that barry didn’t think about awakening speedster powers in others until the finale. It’s end’s how you’d expect aside from that though. It’s feel good because of the long term investment but the dialogue is cringey af despite grant giving it his best.
Man one thing I will dearly miss is Blake Kneely's soundtracks. He made one of the best villian soundtracks and made the moment with his beautiful orchestra 👌❤
I don't know what kind of influence the actress for Cecile (Danielle Nicolet) had on the showrunner (Eric Wallace) for that character to get such special treatment, which would often be at the detriment of the show! Anytime the actress made a suggestion at a panel, or some interview, it would somehow end up on the screen. These are a few notable things that I caught: 1) Cecile getting stronger with her powers. 2) Cecile practicing law again. 3) Cecile playing a villain. 4) Directing an episode. 5) Cecile getting a suit. This all started happening after season 5 when Eric Wallace came on board. I have never seen a show that gave so much priority and precedence to a lower tier character like this, all these things aside, Cecile got an abnormal amount of screentime and attention for her stature!
As someone who gave up on this show during season 5 I'm just treating new world part 1 as the finale. The show finally comes full circle, Barry gets closure on the death of his parents, we get one more appearance of the reverse flash and he's the best he's been since season 1. Cut out the negative speed force and its a satisfying ending to me.
Terrible show ends terribly. It’s like they brought back every villain to undo everything they’ve done and make fun of them. Also it completely undermines Barry because he actually struggled against them.

when it first cuts to the future scene in part 3 as they're arriving back in star labs having just finished a battle Cecile says something about a new costume so that establishes she already has one some point before 2049, just that chester was upgrading it. however that still doesn't explain her just suddenly having the costume in the present. I guess it could be explained away by the scene where he has allegra trying on a costume in part 2 but that scene specifically had it explained that he was only working on a costume for HER, not that he was also working on one for Cecile
If the filler episodes didn’t happen we could have had potentially an amazing 7-8 part arc spacing it out and having the final villains being done properly… I’ll always love this show but I can’t ignore the horrible flaws and inconsistencies! If not for Grant Gustin as an actor I wouldn’t have stayed invested

I’m so pissed off. This was my childhood show. It’s sucked for years, but we had those two amazing episodes, so I had hope, then I saw the finale. It had so much potential. It wasn’t hard at all to write a good episode. Eric Wallace deserves nothing after this.
indeed, this finale wasn't even that good. They probably wanted to do more but the show ending earlier than he planned forced him to change what he wanted plus Grant tested positive for the virus when they were filming this so who knows how much they had to swap out because of that.

I actually saw this coming from the beginning, as much as I love Cisco and Caitlin they are the ones that started the spark of the side characters getting more prominent throughout the show with the exception of them having strong build up.

Team flash and team cobalt blue starts fighting but in team flash only khione was strong enough to stand up against those villainous speedsters but villains almost killed all the other members of team flash so khione have use her powers to keep them alive leaving Barry bloodlusted and alone totally and Villains starts chasing him across the streets. We see a 20/30 minutes long battle where villains chased Barry from all directions, godspeed showing his true speed and being in two places at the same moment like I'm comics and making his multiple clones, reverse flash making his speed mirage, zoom making his time remnants, Cobalt blue using his different kinds of abilities, Savitar showing his true potential and all of them using different kinds of speed force constructs and Barry was dodging their attacks. All the speedsters running so fast that they were getting teleported from past to present to future and to the natural forces all at once! At the end Barry has to give up being a pure hero and go for killing them as he has no choice at all and the final ending fight takes place which is a boundary between the negative and the positive forces. All the characters reached their maximum top speed at last (all being much faster than the speed of light because of which they were getting teleported from past to present to future and to natural forces), and flash being still the fastest among all of them proving that he is the fastest man in the entire multiverse! At last flash finally goes for kill and kills all the villains except eddie leaving Eddie alone and helpless. You know what they should've done? Replace the filler (other than 9x09), with episodes that actually contribute to The Final Arc. That'd be *7* episodes to set up Cobalt Blue, bring back the old villains and actually make them decent, AND have the Full Circle episode. But of course, *Cecile Horton* and *allegra garcia*.
Actually imo, split 9x09 into two episodes, and give the Cobalt Blue arc 6 episodes in total, because I felt they could have done this storyline properly with just 1 more episode.

I thought the whole season, especially the last episode was incredible. It's incredible how in the end the whole team got superspeed and super strength in the last episode that allowed Cecile to fly and also defeat dozens of Godspeed clones when just last season they had an all out Speed Force war.
I also love how Kiyone basically told us that 'no one is going to die tonight, like she was breaking the 4th wall', and how Chuck had superpowers that he didn't know about.
It was incredible how powerful Nora was and was able to phase her belly button and spine so that Savitar would fail to stab her. Then she casually just stabbed him once - remember when Jesse did it he ran off - but this time he just laid down and basically went into a coma. Then Zoom decided he would rather just threaten to kill everyone and then run around and around in the tunnel rather than you know...kill everyone.
I'd like to think that the last time I saw Thawne this season was in episode 10, so I totally blocked that part out because it brings into question why Eddie needs to be the avatar at all. And Cobalt Blue's plan was incredible, when he found the others in time and space and said: so you all fought a good fight, you spent a season tormenting the Flash, you even solo'd him at one point. But ultimately you were defeated. How would all of you like to come back, combine your power, experience, anger and thirst for revenge for like 30 minutes or so to you know, lose immediately?
Then after absorbing massive amounts of negative speed force energy, I really loved how pep talks and the power of friendship lead to an awkward friendship between the positive and negative speed force.
It would have been incredibly satisfying if the bad guys won. I loved Seasons 1-2 and even 3. Then there were some good moments, but imagine ending such an epic legacy with a 13 episode season that only had 1 episode that didn't absolutely suck. Rant over...Grant was as incredible Flash, but even he couldn't outrun the real big bad, the writers.

Grant Gustin deserved way better writers. I think if the showrunner for the first 3 seasons was called back this final could’ve been one of the greatest work in television history. This whole season could’ve been about the origins of Reverse Flash and Cobalt Blue, what happened to Zoom of season 5, a redemption for Savitar and maybe give Godspeed a good scene or two. And this all would culminate in an epic speedster battle royale where Barry and Savitar could team up and fight Reverse Flash, Zoom , Godspeed and Cobalt Blue. That would’ve been epic. The possibilities are endless and there could’ve been multiple full circle moments giving closure to multiple things. But no. What we got was Eric Wallace’s Cecile and Friends guest starring The Flash
What I don’t get is why they changed the color of Eddie’s lightning to red. They even had Nora have blue lightning when she was possessed by the crystal but when Eddie got it they just threw it away. Isn’t that the whole point of Cobalt BLUE?😂

It kind of makes sense because they're supposed to be powered up by the Negative Speedforce which most didn't have before (though it somehow made them weaker than their previous episodes? lmao), but it would have been so much better for them to keep their original colors, like Zoom with his intimidating blue or Godspeed with the white.

Barry is so neglected by Eric Wallace that Savitar, who is basically a evil Barry Allen, was the villain with the least screentime.
I was hoping he would come out of his armor and talk shit to the flash or team flash! Imagine the final fight being savitar vs kid flash, reverse flash vs Nora, Eddie thawne vs the flash, and zoom vs the real Jay Garrick! Everyone would have a great battle and both sides would have amazing things to it.. closure mostly

Cobalt blue revives godspeed, Savitar, reverse flash and zoom and teams up to fight against Barry using the cobalt blue crystal and gives them full access to the negative speed force using cobalt blue crystal. Team flash and team cobalt blue starts fighting but in team flash only khione was strong enough to stand up against those villainous speedsters but villains almost killed all the other members of team flash so khione have use her powers to keep them alive leaving Barry bloodlusted and alone totally and Villains starts chasing him across the streets. We see a 20/30 minutes long battle where villains chased Barry from all directions, godspeed showing his true speed and being in two places at the same moment like I'm comics and making his multiple clones, reverse flash making his speed mirage, zoom making his time remnants, Cobalt blue using his different kinds of abilities, Savitar showing his true potential and all of them using different kinds of speed force constructs and Barry was dodging their attacks. All the speedsters running so fast that they were getting teleported from past to present to future and to the natural forces all at once! At the end Barry has to give up being a pure hero and go for killing them as he has no choice at all and the final ending fight takes place which is a boundary between the negative and the positive forces. All the characters reached their maximum top speed at last (all being much faster than the speed of light because of which they were getting teleported from past to present to future and to natural forces), and flash being still the fastest among all of them proving that he is the fastest man in the entire multiverse! At last flash finally goes for kill and kills all the villains except eddie leaving Eddie alone and helpless. Barry tries to talk with Eddie to stop being the cobalt blue avatar but his hatred is not over yet so he doesn't give up. But at last Barry manages to remove the cobalt blue crystal from Cobalt blue suit and Barry destroys the crystal but in doing that he ends up erasing Eddie thawne accidentally as cobalt blue crystal was the reason of his existence. Barry got completely shattered with the death of Eddie thawne once again. Then Barry decides to eliminate the negative forces completely. But removing negative forces will disturb multiversal balance. So Barry runs into his full potential (showing his infinite speeds) and generates infinite amount of lightning, floods the negative forces and positive forces with his lightning that both forces got emerged and turned in a single neutral forces of the nature. Then Barry come into the present and up to that time khione manages to heal all injured people completely. Iris gives birth to Nora. I like this script better than what was given to us but only not the killing part. When he destroys the crystal, all of the other villains dissappear as well sorta like what happened in the show with eddie taking the speed from them. The scene where thawne's crowd is stolen at the end is really the only way they could have added it in.
Arrow did all the right things with its last season. Flash should’ve followed a similar formula even though the writers weren’t planning on killing Barry off. Having every speedster villain would have been cool if the writing was better, and if the supporting cast got less screen time. Arrow found the perfect balance between giving Oliver and the supporting cast screen time.
The team stuff is what killed all of these shows. Green arrow, flash, and supergirl did not need a team and they never had a team like that in the comics. That's why superman and lois works so well. We are the flash. No iris, barry is the flash.

I like the idea of 'sometimes the devil you know is better than the devil you don't' being able to convince him to be the avatar to avoid dying with someone that is a bit levelheaded is better than Eddie passing on and someone even worse taking over that speed force...

Season 9 is probably the worst season of the whole show. Red death was trash, too many filler episodes for a shorter season with a terrible support cast that nobody cares about, and colbat blue arc was insanely rushed when it should have had glimpses and hints sprinkled through the whole season. The only 2 good episodes was eobard thawne episode in the past and the episode with oliver. How sad this is how the flash and arrow verse ends
My problem is how hard they keep statting down Barry to prop up other characters rather than trying to boost other characters to match Barry's badassness.

Crazy how they even wasted Tom Cavanagh in the last episode. Even in the recent seasons, I always had a smile on when his RF was on screen but they did him so bad. The main villain of the fucking flash defeated by Eric's OC. The series ended after Crisis for me

What CW's Flash problem lies truly on how they handle their episode structures. The episodes always ends at a cliffhanger the a villain setting up his/her motive in the next episode. Then followed by a filler episode nothong to do with the villain and at the end, sets up the villains story yet again. It always pieces itself until the end of the season and expects us emphatize with the villain.

I agree but back then, the show also had a lot of redeeming qualities that made it interesting. Ever since crisis, those redeeming qualities were just deleted.
This really bugged me that they tried to cram so much into this season. The mirrorverse arc in S6 and S7 had a total of 13 episodes, same amount of episodes as this season and even that arc wasn't well-liked. How did they even imagine that lesser episodes for each arc would solve this issue?
They should have had Barry encounter all 5 Speedsters and face them all by Himself using their attacks to counteract each of them similar to Spectacular Spider-Man's Sinister Six episode

It was originally because of Jenna that Cecile had her powers in the first place, so follow through and show that she has powers too, and Cecile trained when she was ready for it.

Giving thawne blue lightning would’ve been weird, should’ve just given him a red one but if they were gonna be lazy, 3.5/5 lightning colors would’ve been better than 1/5.

I still think that the last villain(s) for this show should have been the rouges. A true rouges gallery. Having Reverse Flash being the team leader and finally having that red skies moment at the end.
They could have Focus the season in Eddie, explaining better why he becomes a villain and have an entire season about the dilema of flash trying to save him but nope, they wanted red death and a lot of Filler

The worst thing eddie does as a villain is beat up barry and causes some property damage, that’s it, he doesn’t actually kill anyone. I guess he revives the other villains but reverse flash is the only one who actually does anything and it’s completely devalued because plot armor. No stakes, no investment… the ending is ok I guess? but also kinda cringe with the dialogue. It’s just weird to me that barry didn’t think about awakening speedster powers in others until the finale. It’s end’s how you’d expect aside from that though. It’s feel good because of the long term investment but the dialogue is cringey af despite grant giving it his best.

Man one thing I will dearly miss is Blake Kneely's soundtracks. He made one of the best villian soundtracks and made the moment with his beautiful orchestra 👌❤
I don't know what kind of influence the actress for Cecile (Danielle Nicolet) had on the showrunner (Eric Wallace) for that character to get such special treatment, which would often be at the detriment of the show!
Anytime the actress made a suggestion at a panel, or some interview, it would somehow end up on the screen. These are a few notable things that I caught:
1) Cecile getting stronger with her powers.
2) Cecile practicing law again.
3) Cecile playing a villain.
4) Directing an episode.
5) Cecile getting a suit.
This all started happening after season 5 when Eric Wallace came on board. I have never seen a show that gave so much priority and precedence to a lower tier character like this, all these things aside, Cecile got an abnormal amount of screentime and attention for her stature!
As someone who gave up on this show during season 5 I'm just treating new world part 1 as the finale. The show finally comes full circle, Barry gets closure on the death of his parents, we get one more appearance of the reverse flash and he's the best he's been since season 1. Cut out the negative speed force and its a satisfying ending to me.
Terrible show ends terribly. It’s like they brought back every villain to undo everything they’ve done and make fun of them. Also it completely undermines Barry because he actually struggled against them.
It sucks to see what happened to this show, as it used to be such a big part of my life back before Covid. But I guess it’s a problem that’s been present for the last few years and not just now.
I’d rather just look at episode 10 as the show’s finale. It does a much better job at that than episode 13.
Jess Chambers being introduced is an embarrassment to the show. They needed to at least mention how Jesse Quick's story wrapped up before introducing a character most of us didn't ask for.

when it first cuts to the future scene in part 3 as they're arriving back in star labs having just finished a battle Cecile says something about a new costume so that establishes she already has one some point before 2049, just that chester was upgrading it. however that still doesn't explain her just suddenly having the costume in the present. I guess it could be explained away by the scene where he has allegra trying on a costume in part 2 but that scene specifically had it explained that he was only working on a costume for HER, not that he was also working on one for Cecile
If the filler episodes didn’t happen we could have had potentially an amazing 7-8 part arc spacing it out and having the final villains being done properly… I’ll always love this show but I can’t ignore the horrible flaws and inconsistencies! If not for Grant Gustin as an actor I wouldn’t have stayed invested

It pisses me off to my core that they couldn't give the character and the show the respect it deserved cuz when the flash was first announced i was so damn excited and i couldn't wait to see the first episode and getting excited every week to watch the new episodes. I made sure i caught them on time cuz i didn't wanna be spoiled and i didn't wanna wait. I've defended this show when people just thought the wholw series was trash. I stuck by all the worst and cringiest moments because i wanted to see how the story played out and cuz i had faith it was gonna get back. The first 4 seasons will forever be goated in my opinion. Everything after i just don't know wat happened. Ever since that mf eric wallace took over he's made the flash a damn joke and a side character in his own show so he can focus on his stupid ass cringe new side characters that no one cares about. He gave us 3 good things Bloodwork, deathstorm and Armageddon and that was it. Idk wtf he was smoking with that forces storyline and he couldn't even bother to even try and show respect for this final season. The fact he fucking wastes 3 episode for filler in a 13 episode season is godddamn baffling. I hate this man and everything he's done to the flash. I can't even proudly talk about this show anymore cuz everyone literally thinks its a joke and for alot of people that's gonna be the flash's legacy. I feel like eric looked into my soul, slapped me in the face and then spit on me with shit. Idc wat anyone says the bad outweighs the good and i never wanna watch or support any project this man will do cuz he clearly misses the whole point and doesn't give af about the fans

i have a Better script for the grand finale:
Cobalt blue revives godspeed, Savitar, reverse flash and zoom and teams up to fight against Barry using the cobalt blue crystal and gives them full access to the negative speed force using cobalt blue crystal. Team flash and team cobalt blue starts fighting but in team flash only khione was strong enough to stand up against those villainous speedsters but villains almost killed all the other members of team flash so khione have use her powers to keep them alive leaving Barry bloodlusted and alone totally and Villains starts chasing him across the streets. We see a 20/30 minutes long battle where villains chased Barry from all directions, godspeed showing his true speed and being in two places at the same moment like I'm comics and making his multiple clones, reverse flash making his speed mirage, zoom making his time remnants, Cobalt blue using his different kinds of abilities, Savitar showing his true potential and all of them using different kinds of speed force constructs and Barry was dodging their attacks. All the speedsters running so fast that they were getting teleported from past to present to future and to the natural forces all at once! At the end Barry has to give up being a pure hero and go for killing them as he has no choice at all and the final ending fight takes place which is a boundary between the negative and the positive forces. All the characters reached their maximum top speed at last (all being much faster than the speed of light because of which they were getting teleported from past to present to future and to natural forces), and flash being still the fastest among all of them proving that he is the fastest man in the entire multiverse! At last flash finally goes for kill and kills all the villains except eddie leaving Eddie alone and helpless. Barry tries to talk with Eddie to stop being the cobalt blue avatar but his hatred is not over yet so he doesn't give up. But at last Barry manages to remove the cobalt blue crystal from Cobalt blue suit and Barry destroys the crystal but in doing that he ends up erasing Eddie thawne accidentally as cobalt blue crystal was the reason of his existence. Barry got completely shattered with the death of Eddie thawne once again. Then Barry decides to eliminate the negative forces completely. But removing negative forces will disturb multiversal balance. So Barry runs into his full potential (showing his infinite speeds) and generates infinite amount of lightning, floods the negative forces and positive forces with his lightning that both forces got emerged and turned in a single neutral forces of the nature. Then Barry come into the present and up to that time khione manages to heal all injured people completely. Iris gives birth to Nora. Then the team flash unites for the last time in a party (joe,Cisco with kamilla, Singh, Kramer, Ralph being married with sue Dearbon all came into the gathering along with other members of the team flash and khione). Barry tells the team to flash about his fight and his decision of going for the kill and at last accidentally erasing Eddie thawne from existence. Joe comforts Barry by saying, "killing for good cause is not killing, it's saving people and that's what you always do Barry". Then Barry starts feeling better and recovers from the trauma he got by accidentally erasing Eddie. Team flash enjoys the party where Joe proposes to Cecile. Khione reveals that she is the life force to team flash. She says goodbye to team flash and leaves Catlin's body and life forces disappear in the cosmos. Team flash was happy to see Catlin. Then Cisco, Catlin and Barry hug each other (season 1 team flash reference). Each member of the flash now decides to move on and gets separated. Cecile with Joe, barry with iris, allegra and Chester marries and everyone now starts focussing on their lives. Barry, allegra, Cecile, Ralph still pursues their other life of being the hero by stopping the crimes near them. Star labs was turned into Flash museum by the government and made open for the public. Then we see Barry's family in 2049 where iris, bart, nora, all doing their jobs. Here we see Barry goes into space with the DCEU Justice League and goes to another universe for a mission and he meets DCEU flash again! Then we see the scene from the 22nd century where Flash saves the crowd from a bridge which was getting collapsed, stealing Thawne's moment of being the hero which develops a never ending hatred for Barry. Thawne now decides to dedicate his life to kill Barry. (This scene marks the end of the Flash season 9)

This show could be called “Flash and his Amazing Friends” in the same animation style as Spidey and his Amazing Friends, be played on nickelodeon or disney channel, and it could almost play out exactly the same as the show we got

Above all of the things i absolutely LOATHE about how they ruined this show, what I hate the most is how they completely destroyed Eddie's character. Now he's just another whiny, petty, weak villain.
