It was confirmed by Bill Hunt that there will be more North American releases for Minus One in physical media. My guess is that 4th bonus disc won't be included for subsequent releases but it should relieve most fans who just can't plunk down $65 just to own a copy.
Thank goodness- I don’t have 65 I wanna drop on a bluray. Hopefully there will be copies that have both the color and minus color editions, not a fan of digital making them separate
Bandai notoriously don’t include heat rays very often because, as it turns out, they’re out of heat. And the necessary rays for that matter. My uncle Toho who works At Bandtendai told me so. Super7 owns this SDCC with Godzilla exclusives. NGL.
The worst part about the no heat ray effect...is that they dont even release the stand alone ones anymore. When was the last time Bandai did release an effect set for Godzilla, 2016? To add even more salt in the wound Bandai has been releasing a shit ton of new effect sets, reissuesz recolours for their figuarts line. Its absolutely bananas!
For that event exclusive SHMA Goji, I forgot who suggest the idea on the stream, but I recalled that person said that it's still glowing and the mouth isn't glowing, so it could be charging and not yet shooting the beam. Which is kinda hillarious if you now need to buy 3 Gojis to get the full experience. Default, heat ray, and charging. I kinda noticed that Hiya's translucent heat ray is more brighter than the painted one. I kinda ended up seeing the former as a charged up/intimidation display look, while the latter is the actual heat ray. Since the transluscent one is brighter and got less blue throughout, you could say all the energy is still inside. While the painted one got the darker blue color on the tip, suggesting some energy had left the body and the paint on the neck and belly suggest it has travelled out of Goji's mouth. But c'mon, those two both got beams. I'm still waiting for a company to do a color changing Goji gimmick, so that there's am option to own both ver. in one. Imo it won't kill the repaint market, as I know there are many who would still wanna have both to be displayed at once. it could be like a one-off gimmick like that SHMA Kou Kyo Kyoku release, or they could utilized the same technique for Ghidorah, Mothra. Rodan, etc. Out of all those new Super7 stuff for SDCC, which one are you going to pick up? Will you buy all of them? I imagine that at least JJ and Goji would be one of them. It kinda have the same vibe as the skeleton Goji they've made. A figure with cool packaging that makes it a display piece already on its own. Personally speaking, all of them are too wild of a variant for my taste, so I probably won't pick up any. I still prefer dem dull and "boring". But it does make sense for an exclusives line ups. I kinda hate it when new characters and canon forms became an exclusive. Especially event exclusive, as it marks up the price by a lot more than web exclusives in the aftermarket or through 3rd party. I'm still waiting for ReAction Showa Moguera and Ultimates Heisei Moguera to show up here. I've been wanted to buy the two. but Revoltech's Showa Moguera is rare and so is SHMA Moguera. I don't need those two level of articulation for mecha frosty the snowman, so Super7 is a good option.
You know I have mad respect for the boys, but (clearly) I am alone in thinking this repaint idea is ridiculous and I ain't backing off haha For S7, I'll be grabbing everything (2 of Baragon) but not the JJ pack for now, actually. Because it is scene specific, I'm not sure it'll sell through too quickly and I might be able to get it on sale down the road. The glow stuff always sells through and the aftermarket can be rough. Look up the ebay prices for glow Ghidorah and Hedorah, they are ridiculous
I almost went in for the tropical colorway for the All Monsters Attack set but I can't get over how bad I think the sculpt for Minya is. If it was $150 I'd propbably have gotten it. I think SHMA is just following the X-Plus model for variants of existing figures, I believe there is a lot of cross over between the two companies anyways. I have Minus One on the way, not too bothered by fourth disc in japanese as I don't go for bonus features on movies anyway unless they're extended/directors cuts. Could have waited for a more normal release but it will look good on the shelf.
Hello, from a fellow Canadian Godzilla Collector (Newfoundland). I too am so saddned by the lack of Shipping Options from the Godzilla Store. Makes me wonder if there's a possiability for a Canadain G Store. Here's hoping! Anyways, love your videos, keep up the good work!
Again out of context but dinomike mak released a jurassic park field guide that has all dinosaurs from 1993 jurassic park to chaos theory even game exclusive ones triva plus renders about them its unoffical and sells for 35 usd thought you might be interested
i jumped on that minus one release as soon as they put it up lol i've been dying for a physical release of that movie! as for that shma 89, i was excited for it when it was initially announced, and now that i know that it for sure doesn't come with a beam, i lost all the shits i gave. you'd think they would have figured it was a bad idea after everyone's distaste for the gmk repaint.
(0:15) I think I'll just wait until they release a cheaper version of the movie on Blu Rey (especially if it has an English dub). 🕰🏪💿🗓 (6:29) Im surprised there doing another set or guess you can say a re-release of that set with Gabara (especially this soon). I wonder how well the original release did? 🤨📦🐸🤔

Im glad, i regretted pre ordering it and cancelled, would much rather spend 20 or 30 bucks for a normal release.

Mondo is basically artsy toys (and products) for big boys (and girls) so of course they are going to sell them pretty high of a price
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the recent tease by hiya of gmk.

Still hoping for a steelcase minus 1 blu ray set
Wish we saw you at GFEST!
Some day!
Can't wait to get that sdcc 1989
Wish it came with a beam effect
I personally can’t wait to get the Super7 Godzilla kit reaction figure, since it’s my most wanted figure that Super7 is going to release soon.
