Hey man ,can you help me put with wfh setup...I have a mac m2 pro..and a windows thinkpad ..want a clean setup with extended screen and background led lighting ..with a bar light setup similar to yours ..and yeah as less as possible showcase of wires...I am confused because I have heard scaling issues with montiors if you connect a mac laptop.

does putting light bar on the monitor reduces ips glow?
There is no glare / glow, because the light points downwards
Theres no way it reduces ips glow… ips glow is inherent to ips technology because of edgelit panel design. The only way to eliminate ips glow is to get a VA panel or OLED. For what it’s worth the main advantage of this benq compared to others is it’s assymetrical lighting wherein the led light is angled away from the monitor, which means 0 glare from the light. Whereas other brands like xiaomi etc have no assymetrical lighting which means the led light is aimed downward which causes glaring issues. The only con of benq is the price, too expensive for a strip of led light which most likely costs less than $10 to make .
