It's illegal to fish where he's at. It is clearly marked. He trespassed to get to where he is, had to walk along a busy highway (safety hazard) to get there, there is also no parking.
@Andrew E No, I don't have a timestamp for it, I live by that lake. Since I called him out, on a previous video, for parking in front of a no parking sign, which also said no fishing, he quit showing those signs in the background.
Also, he had four poles in the water, in Illinois, it's two poles only, unless otherwise noted.
It's also illegal to drive in Illinois, while using an electronic device.

Just a thought... It would be so awesome if you were to buy an underwater drone and explore some of the spillways before you fish it. That would make for some interesting footage if the water isnt so merky. That way you know how deep it goes and you can see if there could be any monster fish in the location.

I like this guy. Using live or cut bait is pretty simple and effective. Never know what latches on. Not much skill involved but fun to watch. Keep up the good work

I fish with large live bait and I usually wait 30 seconds to set the hook if the situation and location allows that. I was told large fish hit the bait sideways and they turn it around in there mouth to swallow head first.
Hey bro I have a good fishing spot for you in Marion IL it’s called the A-41 fishing ponds and it has monster bass my dad caught a 7 pounder there and it also has monster catfish but there are cows there although you will be ok if you stay away from them good luck 😀
The hike to A-41 is worth it.
