Such debates should be held in India not abroad. What do the abroad audience know anything about what's actually happening in India. If they just refer to the news media, then we know what the media is already famous for.

@@prosantasarkar7876For me he was unclear and confused. While the others made their position clear(the support and the opposition) his arguments were vague. Just shouting and speaking gibberish doesn't make you right. Whatever Palki said she backed that up by facts and data while Akash's speech was not related to the motion at all. Sorry but he didn't make any point whatsoever and it would've been better if somebody else went in his place cause I believe he didn't contribute at all to that event.

In her latest round of embarrassing overtures, the astute Palki Sharma Upadhyaye who assiduously implements a consistent but subtly disguised anti-India agenda at the behest of her Ziomaniac purse-string-pullers, made an ostentatious show of armchair patriotism by "defending" India and the Modi government at the Oxford House, which is a colonial instrument faking legitimacy of extra territorial intrusion into turf of sovereign Asian states, on the lines of the Le Bal de Debutantes which is an annual gathering of regional elites from Asia who swear loyalty to the British sovereign. But in the process of meekly pleading India's case before a panel of imposters posing as guardian angels of duplicitous European ethic, Palki Sharma gave a fillip to the illegitimate pretentions of global jurisdiction feigned by the Oxford cabal, by her unbecoming undignified meek submissive behavior before the quasi-imperialist neocolonial English House, undermining the dignity of India in the process. Palki has unduly dignified the imperialist overreach of Oxford on internal matters of India, by pandering to it slavishly and according it implicit legitimacy, to the obvious detriment of India's endeavour of reclaiming assertive sovereignty. Palki seemed desperate to seek validation from the neocolonial Oxford Union, and to ingratiate herself with this western pseudomoralistic body. It is a pity that the Palki brigade has the cheek to claim that she has salvaged India's honour at that summit, which was conducted in a colonial slavish atmosphere simulating continued colonial vassalage of India to the English Crown. Palki has unwittingly or wittingly lent credence to the illegitimate claims of the Oxford cabal to custodianship of the moral conscience of the world, by paying obeissance before this illegitimate House of imposters and "pleading" India's case before it, implicitly acknowledging Britain's illegitimate right to pass judgements on India as if India is either a banana republic, or a zombie brainchild of England. While impersonating India, Palki behaved as if she is an employee and Oxford Union is the corporate employer who has summoned India for an appraisal, to be followed by 'judgements' and 'disciplining'
I cannot agree more with this pre-conceived notions and maligning the image of the nation. It is there.

I watched your presentation at the Oxford Union Debate. It was well executed and backed up with proof instead of hearsay as by that Pakistani girl from the US, Misha, yes Misha, I think. She must be excused, she lacks maturity and her presentation lacked any proof.
People who are 100 % neutral and intelligent support Palki 100% for bringing us the truth which many biased journalists have been purposely hiding since centuries.Thanks to her we are able to get valuable information which we can compare and judge on our own before making conclusions.

I looked at Palki at the Oxford Union Debate and under her tense delivery Palki still was very impacting. Her transparency at Oxford meant a lot with her heart expressions for India as a Patriot. Great discussion on this Oxford Union Debate.

I never thought such a muhavra would make such a sense. Those people were nervous seeing you Palki. I would put it this way. Half of the other side were politicians and there was one who read like a Robot. And then you come in with grace, confidence and facts….something they know very little about (from John Wick 😂). I think the issue of maligning India will be reversed when our NRIs return back to India, when our students stop going to foreign universities, when Indians take pride in their own country and don't seek validation from outsiders for their status.
It will never happen, at least for the next 40 years.
Most of the NRIs and Indians students find themselves in a rapture there. Hardly do they wish to seek survival amidst their cloisters of comfort and living standards.

If I talk about the rates of migration, they have been on a surge, and it was overwhelming last year. It will take time, at least till 2050.

I think we should start our own channel called " Bharat Videsh Vani " or " Bharat Vishwa Vani " . On this channel, we should cover world news & events from the Indian perspective. Debates happening overseas will have no meaning/effect on India's grounds. Also keep in mind, Those governments have a different view of India than what their citizens think, so if you think these debates lead to somewhere in a policy change, that's not going to happen.

In this whole interview she presented her views about Europe and their problems which is absolutely fine but at the same time have problem with anyone from west commenting upon the state of indian democracy. As a global citizen everyone have the right to present their views on any platform of this world. I never get into elaborate debates because actions speak louder than words. People who want to diss India will do so anyway. I also think a political debate is of no value if it doesn't lead to something actionable. Tharoor won the debate on reparations, did Britain return the things they looted as a gesture of true friendship? They won't. And so, any debate there which leads to no change in action or attitude, is just a facade of sincere expression.
