      I would like to get a content from you on the trend of Indians choosing non-IT job oriented studies. We know even if students choose electronics or mechanical still work on IT. But the data that you present should show the overall trend with Indians choosing the stream of work. This will give us a view to us where Indians will be and how many markets can Indians penetrate into out of IT itself. I know you can add versatile sides to this ask and present even more good informative content. 🙂✌

      I LOVE BOOKS . BOOKS ARE THE SOUL OF LIFE
      The FATTER the fiction/ non fiction book ,the more i love to read it .I have once walked out of a bad movie in the interval and sat and finished a wheel of time series book in the lobby :) . My mother is the one who used to give me books instead of toys to play with
      a) Retail stores price books ridiculously high so pricing is an issue .Libraries r needed
      b)Schools& parents & ADHD in folks have contributed to this situation

      Thank you, First Post & Palki maam, for these stories. I really look up to them. They are fact bombs. I would like to have some content on how spiritual practices can enhance a minimalist lifestyle, why stoicism is not synonymous with carelessness and how spirituality connects success and achievement in this rat race age. Why spirituality is not similar to any particular religion and different religious practices and how it helps us to maintain the harmony around us.

    There is no warm feeling than reading your favourite book on a rainy day, covered in cozy blankets with a cup of coffee in your hand. The smell of fresh books, hiding pieces of an old love such as dry flowers, old photographs, and hazy letters as bookmarks. Oh my my! How could anything digital ever replace that? Books are eternal gifts.

I sometimes ask myself if I can possess this type of skill and what it would take to achieve that; I end up giving up thinking. But after watching this video, it seems I have found the true answer: intense focus and deep attention to detail; one way to achieve those two values would be giving more of my time and attention to books, especially physical books. Reading ebooks, listening to audiobooks are also best way of sticking to daily learning practice and adapts to current generation. Nowadays children's are more exposed to visual learning through animations to understand concepts even better which was quite hard when reading via books.. preparation through visual learning aids in creativity, better learning and practical understanding which was impossible in the past where school labs are the only ways for better understanding. Thanks to firstpost and Madam Palki Sharma for this topic and it was quite useful

      That's true but learning and understanding is one thing, expression is another. The ability to express and articulate can best be developed by reading books. Same way traditional classroom teaching method cannot be replaced by Online learning, reading books can't be replaced by listening podcasts.

      @@nobodycares3953 it will place verymuch less emphasis on reading books, if you learned grammar in elementary school that should be enough to express yourself, i would think speaking several languages more important than reading and writing in only 1 perfectly

    • @sunchi1461
      @sunchi1461 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@achillesglacia7700I somewhat disagree, not completely though. As someone who knows 6 languages, including how to read them at least, a few I can write also, it is not just about expressing oneself. The words can fire one's imagination in ways that is sometimes difficult or different than learning something visually. Giving a small example here. Read a book and then watch a movie. Seldom the movie lives upto your imagination. Also words, when read, can mean something else entirely to one person than it would to another when not expressed vocally/without emotion. We interpret the emotions and meaning for ourselves.
      This by no means discredits visual learning. Both have their pros and cons.

    I too discovered a newfound love for reading during the pandemic. Instead of my usual routine like singing or mindlessly scrolling through my Instagram reels, I decided to explore the world books. There’s something truly magical about the feel of a physical book in your hands, the sensation of turning each pages as you immerse yourself in a different world. It’s been an interesting experience and I am absolutely activated by the power of literature. Reading has become a cherished part of my life and I look forward to exploring more literary adventures. It has become more than a past time, it’s source of joy and inspiration that has enriched my life.

Self help books never work on me and it's too boring to read. So my first English book was 'The Alchemist', It was a really good read and I would recommend the same. Honestly in this fast pace century, people forgot to slow down a bit and observe the surroundings even. But i think now as i m career wise settled, i read every single day and i used to share with the world out there also. Be a little old school, get up early, meditate, hear morning sounds, watch sunrises, play with kids, read books, be honest and truthful. These things never go out of fashion. ❤❤❤❤❤❤thank u for this video. I m glad i have seen it without getting distracted ❤

They had a Settee in the hall which had 3 cupboards crammed with paper backs.I used to take one book out of it (Perry Mason,Agatha Christie) and went on reading for hours together. The head of the family observed this and allowed me to take home as many books as I want. I remember finishing the whole lot within few months. Such was a fascination of books for me.

      As an English teacher, I strongly recommend that young and inexperienced readers begin with short graded readers such as the Oxford Bookworm Series. These graded readers are intended for second language students and contain many pictures to accompany the texts. The readers are arranged in 6 levels (according to level of difficulty in vocabulary and grammatical structures). I have used them for many years in the Middle East with teenagers and young adults. The students I taught in Riyadh loved them and became very avid readers, gradually building their own home libraries. Many of these stories retell famous English classics and modern stories in language accessible to beginner and intermediate level students. Later, the students can progress to the stories in their original form.
