It's great to see my dad's music is still being enjoyed today, keep giving love to these smaller bands-it means a lot to them
The 90s can't be topped mate. For every new modern band you could easily discover another obscure one from back then that tops it. Cheers for watching!
As an old fart who loves 80s thrash,a lot of these sound perfect. That blurred area between thrash and death metal is right in my sweet spot. Cheers Liam 🍺🤘🏻.
Blackthorn and Body Bag are certainly up your street then mate. Cheers for watching mate 🤘🍻💀
Aaahh... 90s death metal. There' something magical about that era of death metal. Excellent video.
90s still can't be beat for death metal. No matter how many new bands come along you just don't get that gritty feel you get from those older bands. Cheers for watching mate
A really cool lesson on 90's Death Metal. Was not really paying attention to much music at the time if i am
being honest.
But my credit-card and myself have your full attention now. You are doing a great job promoting things all Death/Doom. Cheers Liam!.
Cheers mate, yeah it's insane how many bands from that time are still loved today. So many reissues and I bet you'll hardly see any of the modern bands of today get the same treatment in 20/30 years time. Cheers for watching 🤘🍻🤘
This is a top quality guide! Can’t wait to expand my death metal band bank with these suggestions !
Cheers mate, you can't go wrong with the 90s death metal scene. Plenty on here to sink your teeth into 🤘☠️🍻🤘
Your videos are always top quality Liam… but the fact that everything you showed in ThIS video is from my youth… I’m feeling young all over again just watching this! Superb stuff mate… & some absolutely brilliant & criminally overlooked albums & bands on show in this lot!🤘🏻
The 90s keep on giving, even 30 odd years later. Cheers for watching mate and hope young man Marc is well 😜🤘🍻☠️
You know me mate I love my 90s Death Metal and this is one hell of a list. Divine Eve, Gutted, Mythos, Victims of Internal Decay, Deteriorot and Morpheus are killer bands. I'll be checking out the others as well. Keep up the excellent Liam! 🤘🏻🍻
Cheers Jake, can't go wrong with the 90s death metal scene! 🤘🍻☠️🤘
You're welcome Liam, that you can't! 🤘🏻💀🍻🤘🏻
Excellent one Liam. So many great releases here. Glad to see Blackthorn and Morpheus Descends in here. Quality video my friend. Cheers. 🤘🏻 🤘🏻
I have you to thank me for Blackthorn as I had looked at it ages ago so glad to finally have it. Cheers for watching chief 🤘💀🍻
Great video Liam! Nice to see you give these underground 90's Death Metal bands some promotion. A couple I do know, like Gutted and Blackthorn. A couple peaked my interest; I like the look of Mythos, Victims of Internal Decay, Morpheus Descends and Intestine Baalism especially! I looked them up and they look like I would really enjoy them. Thanks for the recommendations man, and well done on hitting 2.5K that's awesome mate! 😁😁🤘🏻🤘🏻
Cheers mate, Aye the 2.5k still a shock to me haha. All these are stellar, give Bodybag a go as that's pretty much death/thrash in a nutshell to me. 🤘💀🍻
@@TheDeathDoomMetalHead You're welcome mate! Haha, that's honestly amazing man. You've done awesome with your channel. Yeah they all look really cool, there's a few I know of already. Ahh ok that's cool, yeah I'll give them a try. They sound like I'd like them. Cheers man 😊🤘
Did someone say 90’s Death Metal??? Good stuff Liam. Cheers
Is there anything better! Cheers Ken 🤘
Victims of Internal Decay and Bodybag ruuuule. Great bands from around my neck of the woods. Mythos is evil as fuck. Gutted - Bleed For Us to Live is one of my favorite albums of all-time. Great video, Liam!
Cheers mate, I don't think you can find too many 90s DM albums that doesn't suck haha! Cheers for watching mate 🤘💀🍻
Great selection there of 90's Death metal my favourite 😂🤘..Need to check out the Mythos I'm sure I've heard of them before 🤔 name rings a bell..Victims of Internal Decay,Gutted and that Blackthorn are killer 🔥👌..few others there I wanna check out. Cheers Liam cracking video as always 😁🤘🍻
Cheers Wendo! Aye 90s Death metal is still undefeatable, i feel sorry for my kids when I bleat on about it when they're my age haha! 🤘💀🍻
Thanks for reviewing the MYTHOS re-issue!
Thank you for putting out killer releases 🤘💀🍻
Great update, Liam. Lots of new, old stuff for me to delve into. Cheers dude 🤘
Get that wallet out!! Hope you find some new tunes you like mate and cheers for watching 🤘💀🍻
Awesome stack of 90's death metal bands, Liam. I'm going to have to check them all out.
Cheers Tony, 90s albums still hold up today! 🤘💀🍻
Mourning is absolute beasts, the only material I have of theirs's is on a split with Eternal Solstice. Gutted is amazing. That Delirium is one of my favorite death/doom albums. Morpheus Descends! I need to get that soon. Love this video, my kind of music right here.
Still can't beat those 90s death metal bands. Cheers for watching mate 🤘💀🍻
Another awesome video,Liam. I have also recently picked up a few of these. I have the Gutted cd ( and a comp of early demos as well), I picked up Victims of Eternal Decay on vinyl ( reissue) and grabbed that Intestine Baalism cd. The other's, ill need to check out, buddy. 🤘🍻
We've been spoilt for reissues recently. Cheers for watching chief 🤘🍻☠️🤘
That Mythos is great isn’t it? I got the cassette a long time ago and love it!
Gutted is exceptional. I actually picked that one up a few weeks ago. Does yours have an OB? I need the other one too but I haven’t heard it yet.
Into It kills it. He does such a great job on all his stuff. Nuclear Winter is coming on strong as well…
Always good to see you. Hopefully I will have a video up this weekend! I gotta keep running to catch you bro. I had to wait for a commercial to play before I could see your smiling face 😂.
I didn't know about the ads, it's all changed so i'll have to look into that. No, no obi in mine, I think mine was second hand from the chap from Deathstare records so believe it was from his collection. Cheers for watching chief and hope you're well
great reviews awesome stuff mate
Cheers for watching 🤘🍻☠️🤘
The well never runs dry, does it? A lot here I will be listening to later. That Gutted album is so great, but for some reason I never checked it out despite it being in the discount bin for YEARS at my local shop in the 90s. Years later I had to pay full price for the reissue, haha, but I'm glad I finally checked it out. Cheers Liam!
Mad to think how many of these forgotten bands have resurfaced on reissues recently. 90s death metal still reigns supreme. Cheers for watching mate 🤘🍻☠️
I thought I was familiar with Mythos but I must have been mixing them up with something else. Few of these are and have been on my wishlist for a while now. Excellent slab of 90s death metal here! 🍻
Aye you can't beat the 90s for death metal. You've introduced me to a fair few yourself. Hope you're well mate and cheers for watching 🤘☠️🍻🤘
Great update dude! A good handful of old school obscurities i haven’t heard! I really like that delerium album thought! Really great and doomy. Did you have to get used to the production on it? When I got my copy it took a second for my ears to adjust. Really been meaning to play gutted and intestine baalism too thanks for the reminder 🍻
I did actually, it threw me as it's not your typical death/doom. They reminded me a little of Dark Millennium as their debut isn't an album that clicks straight away but it works in its weird way. Cheers for watching mate 🤘☠️🍻🤘
great update
Mythos did one full length called ‘Pain Amplifier’ in 1995 which is worth getting hold of if you can find it. I’ll check out the others on the list 👍
'Pain Amplifier' is actually still available on vinyl from us (last copies!!!) and it's been recently re-issued on CD by VIC Records. Coming on Tape through us too in a few months.
@@nuclearwinterrecords I had a look on your website and only found it on CD so they must’ve sold out 🤷🏻♂️
@@SteveWallaceGuitar thanks for pointing it out, back in stock now!
Ordered! @@nuclearwinterrecords
ah nice one mate, i wasn't sure if there was more from them. Cheers for watching mate 🤘💀🍻
That Divine Eve is killer, there was another release about ten years ago too.
Intestine Baalism were killer, I have a couple of their's lurking in my collection. Killer stuff!!
I have a couple Bodybag releases, but I think it's a different band.
Stellar stuff as usual sir!!
Ah nice one I didn't realise there's more Intestine Baalism! Cheers for watching mate i've got some hunting to do now haha 🤘💀🍻
Didn't know many of these at all ive slowed right down on picking stuff up now tho especially stuff i don't know
Give that BodyBag a go, they are basically a thrash band to me with the death metal element in there.
A great one from 1996 is NUM SKULL -When Suffering Comes. From Chicago Area USA.
Ah nice one, that's totally new on me so will give it a go. Cheers for watching 🤘🍻🤘
Nice video and lots of bands I’d never heard of
What was the song at the start of your video?? Sounded decent
Cheers mate for watching, do you mean my intro music? That's my band Consecration but the music in the background of the video is Atrocity 🤘🍻☠️🤘
DETERIOROT AND INTESTINE BAALISM 🤝
🤘
