With this single turbo assume you are ruining no maf sensors? Is is as simple as disconnecting the sensor and tucking the wires away and coding them out? Same deal with wastegate actuators?
Yes just tuck them to the side. Regardless you need a custom tune that disables both electronic wastegates and maf sensors or the car will barely run. The custom tune will allow the car to run on speed/density instead of the Maf. With electronic wastegates disabled; you ether run a stand alone boost controller or integrate control with the factory dme using motiv reflex. This then allows you to control boost with an external wastegate.
Made by Borg Warner so it’s proven. For the size it spools pretty quick, and sound great. I would either jump to this or just do pulsar, I don’t think it’s worth buying in the middle. I happen to find this one on marketplace new for $2200 so I jumped on it. But retail being $3000, that’s a tough one to swallow.
Just hit 55k miles with my f82 and just got some annoying wastegate rattle :/ wondering if I should just upgrade to the next stage or go top mount. How’s it treating you? I use it daily
@@Sideways_N55 started overheating and code came up did pump was locking and not getting enough coolant on the turbos. Did my research and when they pulled out the pump it was faulty.

What are the advantages of the efr turbo? Is it worth the money in just curious for when I end up doing mine

Where did the tmap sensor get relocated to ? I just bought a speedtech kit and am trying to figure it out.

Using stock water pump does it hold on long term or had to replace it?
I replaced it cause I was there, original had 132k. The car runs super cool after all the cooling mods.

@rndm_m4 these are mechanical pumps so they last a lot longer than that lol a shop told you it needed replacement? Did it over heat?

Lol I haven’t seen the speedtech kit make more than 500hp

Any upgrade in transmission?
stock trans but FX1000 clutch. We will see if trans can handle it but they don’t like 800-1000whp.
