Need to replace fuel pump on '88 MC. The pump I'm taking off does not have a filter on the bottom, as you show. Should I be looking to go back with one with a filter? Also, PleasureCraft sells one for $169. Marine Fuel Pumps sells one for $69. Is one better than the other?
I've got the exact same pump and bowl by the looks of it in my '88 Mastercraft (Carter 0-2208?). Everyone points to a WIX 33943 aka Napa 3943 aka Carquest 86943 but these are just too small for my bowl/spring. The filter doesn't even come close to the top of the bowl. Any advice?
@@garykuntz9694 yes the gaskets and filters are different the racor water seperator filter is part # racri11t and the fuel pump filter is part # wix33943
@@jacksonwoods297 Heres the fuel filter skidim.com/fuel-filter-racor-110.html but if your missing the spring and bowl, your best bet would be to get this skidim.com/fuel-water-separator-assembly.html which would replace the raccor system.

Why don’t you use the o-ring?
Doesn’t it go on the bottom of the filter? There’s an indentation for it.
what are the 2 filters needed? Are they both the Racor R11T ?
And does the R11T come with the required gaskets? In the video, the gaskets are very different. So I expect different filters.

What’s the parts number for the fuel filter or do u have a parts number for the filter the bowl and the spring mine is missing
