This video is about how to remove a PCM transmission on your Direct Drive inboard ski boat or wakeboard boat. This particular engine is a PCM Ford 351.
The process is very similar for all direct drive transmissions in inboard boats. Including Indmar, PCM, Borg Warner, Velvet Drive.

Hello Vince! I found some transmission oil leaking out of the back part of my PCM-40 transmission. Can in this case only the back part of the transmission be pulled to replace the gasket?

Great video. I have a ‘98 Sunsport with the GT40 ProBoss 5.8. Had transmission issues last yr. Think I need to pull tranny out. Is it basically the same process with mine as with the one in the video?
