Such a great video! And it's just your first one? Wow, girl, you nailed it. Your crochet plushies are adorable 💗 You did great on your first market, good job. But please, don't underprice yourself. Crochet takes so much time and the materials are so expensive. I know that the big plushes seem like they are too expensive but they are handmade and take so much time! I have the same problem with my big plushies, I feel like they are very expensive but at the same time I spend to many hours on them. We should not underprice ourselves.

You did great for your first market. I love markets! I like to get feedback from the customers and enjoy seeing all the smiles you put on everyones face! Agree with possums and axolotls being a best seller. To my surprise possums are my #1 seller. I take at least 15-20 and they all sell out.

the blue baby bear lovey is so cute! Maybe embroidering sleepy eyes would make it more marketable? the no eye look may be a bit jarring but a bit of black thread would make it a sleeping teddy
You know, I didn’t think about how offputting no eyeballs could be, until I took a setback and looked at it again😅 that specific bear ended up selling to a newborn for Christmas but in the future I’ll definitely make sure I at least add embroidered eyes lol
I just went a dollar tree recently and they have so many cute containers and buckets!

Your setup was great for your first market.
The Crochetpeneur has several videos on pricing. She also has a free version for pricing (when subscribed for newsletter) and a full paid version. This may help you find out what is the right price to charge for each product. May also help you to see what products a higher/lower price may be. You want to make a profit not a loss.
Find markets that fit you niche. Are there schools in your area that have craft fairs/markets? A larger item (other the mermaid) may be a better attention grabber. I have seen some who have done a unicorn, squid or other larger items.
I’ll have to check out that channel! I appreciate the advice. The first couple markets I attended were art fairs and craft shows, but I’m definitely going to look into any school markets, that’s definitely the people who are looking for this niche 🙏🏼

Hey! I’m in south Florida. The markets I’ve been to have taken place in Tampa and Englewood. I used CrochetbyBay’s spreadsheet to get a general price for materials and I checked a ton of similar market videos 😁
I'll advise you to lower the music it kinda distracts although love your prep❤ goodluck🎉

What do you mean about the qr code? 😬 I have them on mine, is that bad?
When I mentioned messing up my QR code it because I accidentally signed up for a free QR code promotion and I attached it to all my links and photos. Then I printed it out on a ton of cards and the promotion ended so the only way to make the QR code useable was to purchase a subscription with the QR code people 😭 so I learned the hard way. If your QR code is free and genuinely working for you, people enjoy using them ! I just wish I realized before I printed that I chose an expensive option
