@@Zahra-yv3yv yes absolutely. Each type of paper comes with it's own charm. If you have only just begun, a cheap watercolor album can be used. If it's for sketching try to make sure the paper is not too thin or slippery.
The awkward moment when you realise that if someone gives you the right instructions you can actually paint decently (not gonna become Van Gogh but still able to create something aesthetically pleasing to the eye). Thanks!

And we are also kind of suffering from the same insecurities about art. It makes me feel included and less alone. I'm super happy about finding a community that feels natural and easy. ♥️😊💟✨🌿
My grandma loved painting, especially with watercolours and she got me hooked onto the love of art now lol. Lovely flowers btw you did such a great job 👏 😊

She challenged me to “not say anything about myself I wouldn’t say about my best friend.” I realize, as a mom and a teacher, I was modeling a behavior I didn’t want any child to adopt. I started telling my kids about my new rule. I used it in so many I heard my students say it to each other. They told their parents. It spread and my students as well as my own children started to try new things without talking about the things they couldn’t do. I just wanted to share that with you. I loved that you could see your success. You obviously don’t lack in talent. You may have finally met the person who addressed painting they way you learn it. I’m also betting your painting is one of the gifts your mother will treasure.
You are a great artist.. at the same time, a great teacher as well... I love the way you had live commentary going, explaining every detail of how the leaves and flowers can be drawn. Thank you for sharing this.

Ouhh... sometimes more supplies just mean more confusion... It's always easier to start simple and get used to the medium first. I'm so glad that this video could get you started with the medium! ^_^

Go for it! Just go slow, and maybe try it on a scrap piece of paper first if you're nervous the first time :)) Good luck!
