I just loved the way Allen was being defiant towards the Viltrumites by acting like a smartass to them even if he told them where Nolan and Mark were they still would’ve brutalized him to death and Allen knew it it’s like he said it’s not the Viltrumites’s style to ask questions first and use violence last
His acting like a smartass was to keep them from bringing civilians into the mix. They were gonna brutalize him regardless of how good of a fight he put up, the question was how many people needed to die before he went down.
Never have I seen so many characters get VERY mortally wounded only to show up next scene in the hospital. Healthcare is amazing in Invincible universe!

I always found it weird how alien food always seemed still alive, like these super advanced future beings eating like they are still living in caves and mud huts.
My guess is a combination of how to keep the innocent safe, sacrificing his life and refuse the viltrimites what they want, and one last look at who he loves most
The fucked up thing is that they showed how much RESTRAINT a Vilrumite can have. They grabbed him through the station without killing anyone else. They could have wiped out the station itself. They didn't. He was the target. They came, failed to get information, maimed him, and left. Hell, they likely knew he was still alive. For all their bloodthirst, they could have done more... and didn't.

I'm with Wielder; I mean, I realize they're aliens, and what's abnormal here may be normal to them, but for citizens of a civilization that has mastered interstellar travel, eating live food just comes across as, well, primitive and barbaric. That, and this is one of those moments where it really shows that sometimes the series is relying on gore shock value way too much. At least, for my tastes.
