Recently got their era color and love it as a reader. Perfect size and I'm not noticing much ghosting in comics when I read with quite e bit light on. However till now I'm loving it

Can you do a full comparison between the three options you mentioned in this video (Mini C, PB, and the BM) and maybe add a full B/W option as well to compare the battery and readability differences between the Kaleido screens and a strict E-Ink?

I'd like to, yep. It's a similar machine to the Bigme Inknote. It'll be interesting to see what they've done with the software side of things!

I actually recently tried this device. It’s almost the perfect size for just reading for me, but I ended up returning it because the ghosting on full color pages (especially with comics) was really distracting and hard to move past. Even with tweaks to the settings I still had issues with the previous page’s panel borders showing up on the next page.
I know other manufacturers have done other things to get the ghosting to clear up a bit while keeping the refresh time down - I hope there’s another ereader in this form factor with those tweaks soon.
Unfortunately the colour ghosting is a real problem on the kaleido 3 screen. Have a look at my recent Boox Vs Bigme comparison. It shows really clearly the difficulty in keeping colour areas clean.
This is great. I have a 10.3inch devixe that I love but am hoping to add a companion Ereader device thats a bit smaller and easier to carry around. What i can't decide is if I am someone who if given the opportunity to annotate digital fiction books actually would use thay feature. Thats the only thing i think i would color for in an ereader. It is actually the reason i bought my Note Air 3C and i have enjoyed reading on it. But don't actually use that feature much with fiction. Non fiction books I so taie notes and highlight a lot. But if I can already do that on my 10" device is it actually something i need/want the ability to do on a smaller device specifically for reading? Questions questions questions. All the time.
If only this size had a note pen
I wonder how different the PocketBook Era Colour is from this!
Pretty similar I expect, just smaller!
The buttons are on the right for the Era Colour; this one has them on the bottom part of the ereader. The Era Colour also has a flush screen while this one has a recessed screen, although a tempered glass screen protector might negate the difference. For some reason the Era seemed slower than the Inkpad Color 3, so I ended up keeping the bigger sized ereader. But I could be quibbling about a few seconds in delay than what it actually is in reality so the Era is still overall a good ereader.
Hows the battery life??…im considering getting one
Yeah good. I think the black and white panels use less energy, and the battery size isn't huge in order to keep it light, but you'll certainly be able to finish a big book on one charge!
I have this and several Kindles and the battery life is better than any Kindle I've owned.
