Just so your aware sshd drives don't preform best out of the box. The firmware needs to learn what files u use most to keep them on flash part of drive. After a month of use the hybrid drive will be running at alot better performance
ive tested an sshd drive in my gaming pc been using this for warzone and valorant all i can say stay away from this sshd it will stutter your game it will freeze etc because of 5400rpm after what is happening i swap my sshd drive with a normal hdd with 7400rpm and voila all the stutter and freezing is gone so my best advice is get ssd for laptop and for pc or if you cant affoe get a normal hdd trust me been there
I see in the video the firecuda is better. But I don’t know how much better and how that translates to games. Like are we talking a few seconds or like big jumps in load times?
@@BloodwyrmWildheart think how much you use your laptop/ computer How many years has it lasted you... SSD's don't degrade nearly as fast as people think unless you run a datacenter
To get a real speed test they should both be the same size 2.5" , 1TB against 1TB , Not 1TB against a 2TB and both at 5400 RPM or 3.5 at 7200 RPM
*THAT'S BECAUSE BARRACUDA IS AN HDD AND FIRECUDA IS A SSHD*
do you know they make firecuda for desktops too with 3.5 , 7200 rpm configuration ?

Ah good after a month gmod will load faster
Hard disk nd hybrid drives lifespan is the same or not? Do hybrid drives have more lifespan than the hard disk?

Great info, maybe it's time to sell it as it seems to still be popular
Thanks
Thanks. I'll be getting the Samsung solid State drive.
jump to 4:43 for first test. are 5400rpm?
So what was the conclusion ??? I couldnt find it. Barracude or Firecuda. Not clear naration.
FireCuda of course, it's way faster irl circumstances.
Three months ago I might have cared. Purchased two N300 12TB Toshiba's. @@izpcshop7326

For gaming just pop in a cheap ssd
@@IceDragon-fj4vx SSDs die though. They have a limited number of writes.
@@BloodwyrmWildheartYeah cheap SSDs don’t last long but good ones like the Crucial MX500 will last for many years to come.

You better take firecuda sshd 3.5 7200 rpm (sshd 2.5 run at 5400rpm )
Which software is that for HDD speed test??
Sagar Kotian blackmagic dusk speed test. It only on Mac in the Mac store
Nice vid :D
I have 2.5 inch SSHD 1TB. Time to test it again.

I'm sorry I am confused with this comment
Please tell more about case which you are use or given Amazon link of this.
