if that statement was limited to 'white male dancers', it would at least be arguable, but I still don't agree. Plus, he is possibly the most sexless dancer ever to appear on screens. And that is an important element of dancing.
This was my mother's generation but now telling my age. Love whoever makes these videos to music , the choreography is outstanding of that time. Thank you for bringing a time of pure enjoyment to us once again. 😊

Young people are just as good but the creative culture that spawned Led Zep etc. has been lost. Hopefully it will return and we will all be better off for it.
It's sad that Rita Hayworth died from Alzheimers at a relatively early age (68). Even when young I could never remember long sequences of dance steps. Her memory must have been great at this time.

fred astaire... in Oz (and maybe other places for all I know) there was a saying in the 70s which went "nice legs, shame about the face". That of course was said of girls, but Fred is the male embodiment of that concept.
