No dude, There's a difference between not wanting to be with somebody because they're not your type and literally going out of your way to make sure the person you're talking to isn't fat as fast as you possibly can because you find them so unattractive, the thought of accidentally flirting with 1 is so off putting and unappealing to you that you wont even risk talking to 1 for more than a second if you don't have to. So that guy might not be super fatphobic, but he is at the very least, a little bit fatphobic, lol.... Ya know, and super shallow/superficial/vain.
Bro measured her circumference with the hug, was then able to visualize her player build, and then proceeded to determine he wasn’t interested?!?? *He’s playing 4D chess & we’re playing checkers. Tactical masterclass👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾*
The hypocrisy is insane; the first girl rejected the first two guys due to their occupation and age, the Anime girl has an Asian fetish, and the last girl rejected a guy because of his physique and looks, but the only person catching heat is Nathan for having a body preference.
I knew a girl exactly like that in middle school. She was extremely overweight and obsessed with anime and kpop. She wanted an asian boyfriend and would complain they are all taken by "skinny asian twigs like you". She also never washed her clothes and smelled super bad, it was pretty weird
I've known that type, coworker's and people in school... It's weird. Like, you have a type but you expect them not to have a type? Make it make sense. They watch anime and kpop where they are all slim... And expect them to like them if they aren't? I'm a thick woman by the way and most guys attracted to me are slim or fit... But I don't actually have a type body wise. But it's just weird to me to expect others to want you.
Yes but he has to check her body first which is shallow lol i don’t think a girl who was not “fat” will like that if he did that to them. Comes of shady and shallow.
@@yvonnet6399 not shallow at all wtf lmfao He has to see what she looks like to know if he's physically attracted to her right? So in that case is everyone shady and shallow? Would it not be shallow if he didn't know what she looked like? If he had a blindfold on?
@@yvonnet6399 Since when did having a preference make him shallow. We as humans judge based on looks. If you say you don't, you are lying, objectively. When you approach a girl/guy for the first time, you do it because you find them physically attractive, and then you fall in love with them for their personality AND looks. You will not date someone you don't find attractive and enjoy it. Shame how society seemed to confuse human nature for being shallow.
She literally categorized all Asian looking men as uniformly cultural for the sake of her fetishization so she can get hit by dump truck cause she is a whole trash person.
I'm morbidly obese at 5'11 330lbs. I know I'm beyond unhealthy mentally and physically because the two go hand in hand in most cases like mine. I would never date an obese person. I don't think that I am owed someone who is fit and looks good; I just recognize all of the extra layers of problems underneath the surface outside of simply not being attracted to them. I can't stand the fat positivity movement because it does a disservice to people who are in a fixable situation but instead become more comfortable and more sedentary which only exacerbates the problem. Lazy fat people need to feel vindicated in their laziness and their fatness so they have to drag others into the same situation. I am honest with anyone who asks me about my situation or if the topic ever arises. I don't believe someone who is morbidly obese can live a happy, healthy life and anyone who says otherwise is lying to you. I recognize my weight problem being tied to some pretty severe mental health issues that in my current situation I cannot seek out help right now. I'm not going to lie to myself and others just because I want to feel validated and we shouldn't be validating others by lying and sacrificing our own standards like they want people to do.
@@cristianiliusi3489 believe it or not but body type is not the same thing as body shape. according to science, we have a "body fat". everyone have a body fat, like everyone have bones, muscles, skin etc. Body types have their names - ectomorph, mesomorph, and endomorph. you can have different variations of them, but mostly you will fit somewhere beetween two of them. for example female "pear" is ecto-endomorphs. it means that your body fat will go mostly to the lower parts, but that doesn't mean you have fat lower part of your body, as you can have normal, healthy body fat% in your body with this body type. you can be fit, and have this body type. for example: let's say you are average, normal and healthy person with some body type, you want to gain more muscles, so you need to start train - you can do reaserch about wchih excercises are good for your body type, and which are not; it's helpfull. so, see, obesity is a deasese. it starts from your hormones, bad socialisation from your childhood (bad behavior patterns e.g. if you are not tought a healthy emotion menagement and expression, you can start later in life develop "Emotional eating". that will lead to obesity obviously. probably a lots of personality disorders or other mental health problems as well. what is important in my monologue - the body fat that we all have in our bodies, start to overgrownth because of this changes. thats how this deasese works, which, according to doctors and WHO, is a deasese. Maybe it is unpopular opinion, but for me, fat people should go to therapy, start to reevaluating life, priorities, start to learn healthy habbits, management with emotions, and start to take care about their health - thats the best way to lose weight, and believe me, it is a war with yourself, and it is more than "starting eat less and move more". thats why i think it should be considered as eating disorder, since in a lot of cases we are dealing with things like "Emotional eating", "anxiety disorders", "depression disorders", "body dysmorphic disorder" which also affects people suffering from anorexia and other disorders like that (oh, irony), and there is probably even more shit, but i'm not a psychiatrist, nor psychologist. so i think obesity is a deasese of your mind then body, which everyone can see, and which affecting your body fat, not body type. you can be morbidly obese, and don't even know what your body type really is, because its hidden underneath your overgrowth body fat. also, in some cases, it can be hormonal thing, then i think is: hormones problems>long time>bad habbits>mind=obesity in long term. The term fatphobic for me is existing, because people having those issues, naturally, have complexes of their body images and they are simply ashamed, to the point, that someone tought that term. so, to conclude it does not even exist. because... according to other terms like that it suggest that someone have fear, is repulsive toward, what? body fat, that this person have as well? idk, it's stupid tbh. it may be unpopular opinion and a long response, but i hope i explained to you what i really meant. tbh i was saying something serious and meme'ing at the same time at my previous post XD sorry. i don't know if you wanted a serious responce, but now i've explained more i hope so, didn't i? but, at the end, we live in society.
I love how "fat shaming" is only a thing when it applies to women. A guy has a small beer belly and hes called fat, a woman who is wider then they are tall is called plus sized
so true !!!! when i was my healthy weight for being 5 ,9 i was called too skinny, they want bigger,,,,,,,now i am older and knocking off post pandemic weight i am called fat. So literally i can only weigh nothing more or nothing less then 180 lbs for nothing to be said by a woman. anything below 180 is too skinny and anything heavier is too fat. i got called skinny most of my life for being at my healthy weight for being 5,9 at 170lbs.

This "fatphobia", transphobia or whatever coined term is just a plain denial of being rejected. People have their own freewill to choose who they want to date.
Exactly to try to reason with them which you can’t really but my best attempt was. When a gay girl has a preference for girls it’s seen as a preference and you have to respect that and then they try to throw the whole oh you can’t compare those two things😂
There's no such thing as fatphobia when it comes to dating. We're attracted to who we're attracted to, period. Better to not waste the other person's time if you're not physically attracted to them 🤷🏾♀️
@@Lesaloote so when you then find out about that fact during the blind date, like the guy in the vid, are u just supposed to proceed even if your attraction disappears right away?
the existence of “fatphobia” when it comes to dating preferences implies the existence of “heightphobia”, “unemployedphobia”, “skinnyphobia”, “singleparentphobia” etc. The possibilities are endless when you live in an over-apologetic society that tries so hard to compensate for bullying and social discrimination that they will warp reality itself just to make said victims feel special instead of just treating them like human beings.

@@randybaumery5090 everyone has their own preferences. Nothing wrong with that. Women in most cases prefer men that are fit aswell. Again, nothing wrong with that.
As an overweight female, women that are my size and bigger need to understand that everyone has their preferences. So if a man doesn't like me because of my size, race, the way I dress etc, that's ok. We all have preferences, stop making men feel bad for liking what they like.
amen. cause Its not like I prefer obese, but these girls are a lil on the high end, but to me perfect. and honestly skinny , like model skinny, that's just nasty in my opinion .
What also bothers me... Do people understand they cannot shame someone into dating them/their type? And no matter how loud you are, people would not find you attractive. They will just think that you're not only not attractive to them physically, but also have a horrible character and no way they would be around you.
So true if it was a bunch of guys doing it we went with consider that mental rape your forcing me to date you even though telling you I'm not attracted to you and don't want you in any kind of way you are trying to force me get legislators and governors to force me into dating you that's crazy it's crazy it's not fairness crazy and I'm not an advocate for it because I have a single father I have single nephews and cousins I have single Brothers I would hate for any of this to happen and be happening to the males in my family so I advocate against the bullshit that these feminists ask people are advocating
@@n1sugarbaby69 I think we should try to be more precise with our words. Like, body positivity in it's core had a good idea, but people used is as a weapon and made it useless. Same when we mention "feminism" nowadays. I would advocate for people to not call this feminism, but specific women using this as a weapon. There are still many things that needs to be addressed in this world, we should not just throw everything in the window. Rather, point out the hypocrisy when it shows itself. And refuse to be abused by specific people or groups of people who use this or that to get their way.
Exactly. You need mutual attraction and not one sided. Just because a obese person finds you attractive doesn’t mean you have to date them. For some people that is a hard pass. If that hurts your feelings then you need to find someone who does like your size. Why would you even want someone if they found you visually undesirable? Screaming “fatphobic” isn’t going to change anything.
She know Asians are naturally thin, this is one of the characteristics she’s attracted too. With all the anime she has watched, she’s surprised he doesn’t want to date an obese woman. 🤦🏽♀️
1: We are literally programmed to be attracted to healthy bodies 2: I want my kids to be healthy and live long happy lives. This could not be less complicated.
People swipe left on Tinder after seeing two photos of someone for less than 2 seconds. This dude was put in an awkward situation and wasn't able to filter based on his preference using his eyesight, but he still figured out a way AND remained polite in the process. What an absolute chad.
@x marks the spot Do you have the same energy for the girl felt all up on a guy’s face and muscles? Because she was on a blind date and used other senses to determine what the guy looked like. What about smelling the other person?
@x marks the spot but looks do matter that much to everyone. You’re lying to yourself if you deny it. Sure, personality can be a big factor but looks will always be a major factor in it all. Also, these types of shows don’t tell people what the experiment will be, so he most likely didn’t know he would be in a blind fold. Makes your comment moot still.
As an Asian dude in America, the rise of K-pop and k-dramas/movies on Netflix and Japanese/Korean pop culture overall has definitely contributed massively to the fetishization of Asian men. I’ve had many girls come up to me and the first thing they ask is “are you Korean?”, and when I reluctantly say yes, they try and recite all the broken Korean they learned on Duolingo and Netflix in a very cringey way. I now understand some women and what it feels like to be fetishized purely on my ethnicity and culture. It’s definitely not cool but it’s ridiculous that people on twitter react with fatphobia rather than fetishization. Hypocrisy
As a brazilian I know how you feel. Because of my nationally (not ethnicity because brazilians have lots of ethnicities) a lot of foreign man try to treat me as an object. It's tiring.
Finally! Unfortunately, welcome to the club. As an tall black women you HAVE TO be good at discerning who is truly into you as an person and who is fetishizing you.
I like how the one girl was encouraged to feel the dude's arms but the Korean dude was scrutinized for hugging the girls to check their body types. The hypocrisy in these streets is CRAZY.
I guess the whole consent thing flys out the window as well. The button can encourage a man to let himself be felt up but if it ever encouraged a woman to let herself be touched by a man, there'd be outrage. 😂
The fact that she came dressed as a freaking HASHIRA to a dating game. If someone not my race, told me they stay watching BET, Tyler Perry and watch African TV, came dressed as 1 of those characters, then told me black is their type.... I would feel a type of way
I'm not black, and I used to love me some Tyler Perry.( Love me some Mr. Brown and Tamela) and I do have a thing for African girls. I am dark in a Native American way doe so is enough to be sus or not? I would consider someone's sus if they're in a war bonnet and not a combat veteran or leader.
notice how when the guy wants to check to see how the girls life style is weight wise there's backlash but when the girl wants a muscular guy the show runners literally tell her to feel him up. doublestandard???
Exactly. And how that same woman was feeling him( literally) until the blindfolds came down. She saw he was ugly then hits the button. Where's the backlash for that?
I’m currently on my journey of losing weight and I have lost friends because of it. Apparently I’m fatphobic and make others uncomfortable because you can see a very drastic lost and change on my habits. I don’t hate fat people. I personally think I was gross. I never want to get back to that.
Yeah, the problem isn't really about fat people looking ugly, but the mentality is fat people. People who are more fit, it's a lifestyle and a philosophy of life. Someone who is fat but works towards health and not craving for instant pleasure, I could accept her. But a woman who is fat and just eats junk and is lazy to do sport... her philosophy of line is completely not aligned to mine.
I personally hated when I was fatter, I absolutely hated what I looked like in the mirror. And even when I dated females, I just don’t like bigger girls either. It’s just my preference. 🤷🏻♀️ even for myself lol
It's honestly tough...but something to work on. Often we don't change what we see as negatives in ourselves until we become...disgusted with ourselves...but then when you see those same features/things in someone else...now those things disgust you. You've rearranged your life, possibly, into avoiding those things. You have to be careful to not let what could be your motivation also be a thing that makes you a judgemental jerk to others. It's definitely great to find motivation to better yourself but we shouldn't let that same motivation give us reason to be negative towards others.
Just remember, the body positivity movement is only for women. Talk to any fat man and they’ll tell you how differently they’re treated for being big vs women who are paraded and supported for being big. Big women don’t want to date big men but get mad when skinny men don’t want to date big women? Women also have waaay more preferences for this that can’t be changed like height, but the moment a man has a preference for a woman’s weight it’s too far🤦🏻♂️ Also, that one girl also fetishized Asian men because of her obsession with anime.
Who cares. The body positivity movement is dumb as hell. It started as a general sentiment to not shame fat people when you see them out trying to do better (working out, hiking, w/e.) It quickly became complete idiocy, & it wasn't even the best thing from the get go. Some people are motivated by shame & others are shut down by it. It's a case to case basis 100% of the time.
100% facts. If you're an overweight fat man you're considered disgusting but if you're overweight as a woman you're considered loving your curves and you're gorgeous no matter what and if a guy doesn't like you he is fat phobic.
I think what's funny is that the justification for their preference of not dating fat men is because they think that fat men are gross and unkept but in my personal experience there's a lot of fat girls who I've met who are just as able to be unhygienic.
"Paraded" ?? You mean "crossing the Alps and the Rubicon down south to Rome." And yeah, I made a reference about Hanibal and his Carthaginian war elephants.
@@prepordietryin9119 I feel like bigger men are definitely treated better than big women. Dad bod is a thing but for women is not the same even after giving birth. Society is definitely way more critical of women then men .
The crazy thing is I seldom see an overweight person showing interest in another overweight person. You're basically fetishizing non-overweight people. How're you going to get mad because the fetishization isn't mutual?
Watching this with my husband, he said he would’ve asked her a question that required a longer answer and see how short of breath she was during/after the answer 😂😂😂
As an Asian woman who has not been skinny ever, I can understand wanting to find someone who fits your lifestyle. This guy looks like he works out and may want someone to share that lifestyle with. Just like how she is looking for her anime man. Generally I dislike the fetishizing of Asian men and women just based on what you see in kdramas (those bros don’t exist) and anime (we aren’t submissive for your pleasure bro)
Preach killed this one! Women constantly trying to build a bear a dude, but when a man isn’t trying to date a fat chick all of sudden it’s a phobia!? Frucccckkkk outta here!
Preach is 100% right, girls usually want a tall muscular guy or whatever but when a guy sets his preference he's seen as a fatphobic i personally prefer a little chubby girls but i don't want a 300kg whale either
Be forewarned--this story comes off as a humble brag, but I promise that's not my intention. I am 6'8 and a fitness addict with a very athletic build. I had a roommate that ended up falling for me, and I did not want to date her. She told me how she would always date under her league because she didn't feel worthy of an "attractive" partner. Then felt the need to tell me that I reinforce that belief because "she wasn't good enough for me." I had to coddle this girl all while hearing her repeatedly implying that I'm shallow. To make things worse I ended up with very strong feelings for a mutual friend. She then gatekept us and called both of us shitty and told us we didn't care about her at all. She said that the only way we could stay her friend is if we didn't see each other. The audacity! The world isn't fantasy land. Look at 99% of couples and they will be objectively similarly attractive. I found it frustrating as hell because throughout this ordeal she turned down like 4 different men. 1 for being short, 1 for being fat, 1 for being old, and the other guy I'm pretty sure was just boring. You can't be below average thinking you can get the fucking tall muscular dude. She's seen the women I bring home too. Delusion is weird
6' (fucking) 8"... You don't fit everywhere, do you? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 How's the weather up there? (sorry, had to) You unintentionally humble-bragged and I took the chance to troll a bit...
Imagine going to the gym 6 days a week, eating clean like 80% of the time just to have someone who isn't willing to do any of that just waltz in and demean that? It's not fair to other people, including the people who take their time to stay in shape or to look a certain way. They're entitled to like who they want to like, just like everyone else.
I find it hilarious that they implemented the blindfolds so that they could get to know each other and decide based off that instead of looks but literally in every situation looks trumped personality 😂
There's teeth phobia too I guess. I was born with a gap and always told my smile is one of my best features but "you'd look nice with braces." Like I'm born with these teeth. I didn't hate them. Got braces off at 27. Loved my selfies but there are negative assumptions that people with a gap are dumb. That people with gaps have a lisp. I do not. That's just society. There is someone for everyone just have to keep going till you find it. You won't find it if you don't look.
I was a Gapson that's the name I coined for us that had them and honestly I didn't do anything to close mines personally it closed on it own but never gave a damn what people thought
I have teeth phobia, but not for gaps or crooked teeth. It's fucked up, rotten teeth that I cannot do. If you can't brush your teeth, I don't care how good you look or how great your personality is. It's just gross. Get them pulled and get some dentures or something.
I got an overbite and fake bottom teeth due to an issue that happened when I was 12. I understand where you're coming from. People shouldn't judge on teeth unless the person is an actual slob. Most people are just born with overbites, crooked teeth or a small jaw. I have a small jaw so some of my teeth are crooked, hence why I have the overbite. I do think teeth is one area a person shouldn't a reject a person for UNLESS it is so painfully obvious that the person doesn't take care of their teeth.
Awe I had the biggest crush on a guy with a gap when he got it "fixed" he looked so different. Idk the obsession with teeth, they're for eating ayeyeye I'm sure they look fine
As I straight woman, my heart goes out to straight men that have to deal with women like these. You basicaly have to be tall, smart, funny, hot, rich and what not, and then be happy with a girl that's literaly the opposite. That's some bs, girl, get real.

Exactly. They get mad at the fact that they can’t make the guy like them despite them being fat but it’s all self invoked. The dudes are simply reacting while the women are the ones intentionally putting themselves into the situation. It’s so stupid
After he gave her a hug, he said I have a gut feeling that we're better off as friends. Get it "gut feeling" because he felt her gut during the hug, and knew he wasn't going to be physically attracted to her.
I love how women are allowed to base their preferences on things that people can’t change like skin color, height, etc. but the second a guy makes it clear he’s not into fat chicks people go nuclear. It’s okay for men to feel inadequate over things they can’t control, but asking women to clean up their diet and hit the gym once or twice a week is the most heinous act you could commit in todays world.

Always agree when a girl says "you're fatphobic". Hell yeah I am, also I'm no-jobphobic, dramaphobic, and a bunch of other "phobias" that "scare" me away from getting into any kind of relationship with someone.
Ugh. Same as a woman. But I had this dude approach me at the mall and I just ask questions straight up and straight out the gate to make sure I avoid all that. And after I ask his name I asked this man where he worked (just to make sure dude even HAD a job) and sure enough he didn't. Then he tried to project onto me saying he felt like I was looking for someone with money. No kneegrow. Just A JOB! At least HAVE something before you try and approach someone. If the edit was accurate, it was a little cruel to hug her and immediately buzz. You don't have to want to date her, but a little decorum and class wouldn't go amiss. I find the blind date thing to be interesting, because I've known girls who were about the same size (maybe about the size of the first girl), and one dressed in a very flattering almost '40s style, and the other dressed and dyed her hair more like the second girl. My friend who dressed herself well was _never_ in want of a date and got married in her early 20s to a great guy she's still with today. I literally would be open to dating one, if I didn't want a child of my own (and the child's mothers) flesh and blood. We have long ago traded the word critical for phobia
I showed up at a girl's place one day and her girlfriend said I was too skinny. I was an athlete (fit but on the skinny side) and the girl who said that was obese. As a foreigner (English is not my first language), I looked at the girl I was dating like "What figure of speech is this?"
I’m a female personal trainer, and have had a few men tell me that they don’t like muscular women. Not everybody is for everyone, and that is okay. There are ample men that like fit and muscular. No sweat off my back. People that take other peoples preferences personally really need to dial it back. It’s not about YOU, it’s them. Also, read the Four AGreements ;)
I'm one of those who probably would not date a muscular woman (not really sure as I'm more of a come what may person when it comes to attraction). But really though, there are muscular women who I think are sexy and that someone would be down to date them. So keep up with what you're doing as long as you're happy with it. I sure hope that the guys who told you their preference were not condescending though. What I do believe in is that attraction is merely a first step. Compatibility becomes important later on.
@@mistermastermind528 I just prefer the softer look to be honest. Muscles on women don’t really do anything for me, there could easily be a girl just as slim and fit who is simply just softer looking. That’s why I prefer non muscular looking women.
Date who you want to date. Whatever your preference is don’t change it because of society wants you to date everything. BE PICKY ABOUT WHAT YOU PERFER.
I find it funny that the last girl is a 4/10 at best but like always hoes gotta upscale and think they are worth trying to find guys that are out of their own league while trashing guys that are in her league. She has a preference but doesn't deserve the preference even tho she thinks she does.
Nobody is required to find you attractive. Nobody is required to perceive you how you perceive yourself. Nobody is required to like you. People would be much happier if they understood that.
No! If you think I’m too fat/trans/Mexican to date I’m gonna cancel you and tell on you to your boss. Why aren’t you more tolerant?!! Love me damn you!!
My man did a 3000 iq play right there!!!! Also pretty sure he dodge a bullet being Asian with the girl in the demon slayer cosplay. It screamed fetishism.
@@leleellellele Not at all. But, Watching Kdrama and listening to KPop-> Asian (male) fetish Korea got very interesting and a very popular destination in those last 5 years, highly frequented by younger western women aged 19-25 who mainly seek for an oppa. I’m sure that happens in reverse but with older western men.
I recently got set up with a friend of a friend. We tried it for a couple weeks and then I ended it because I really wasn't attracted to her and only felt like I was hanging out with a friend. Now that it's over I realized that I was kind of torturing myself by letting it go on for so long. The end lesson: If anybody shames you for not going out with someone you aren't attracted to, don't even listen to them. In the end, you saved both yours and the other person's time. Go find someone you're attracted to and enjoy getting to know their personality.
Oldtaku here since late 90s, and if I were single and in my early 20s again, I would NOT show up in cosplay like that unless it was a convention or a Halloween event. There’s a time and place for everything. I’ve learned not to make anime, manga and games my entire identity from hiding it when I was in a very rural high school in early 2000s. Because people like her only strengthen the weeb stereotype.
I've been watching anime since like 1994-ish. The only thing it influenced for me was just to have my own style and wear what I felt was appropriate for me. That just felt like forced UWU type shit. Like relax on the hair colour girl... jeez
Anyone who makes a singular trait or interest their entire identity is usually an insufferable, shallow and attention seeking person. Be it the gay guy who's entire schtick is being the gay guy, the vegan who only ever talks about their veganism, the anime nerd making endless references and dressing like a child, even the fucking hobby baker who never shuts up about baking. If you constantly present yourself with a singular trait you just become another annoying steretypical cunt.
Been watching anime since the 90s too when stores and people use to trade VHS. People should never completely hide their interests and hobbies, whether you like it or not they're a part of their identities. There is a tasteful way to wear nerdy merch outside. However, her coming to that show with a full-on cosplay was too much
Serious question: are “weebs” only used for non-Asians who are into Japanese culture? Or would you call a non-Japanese Asian a weeb also? I’ve always thought it was kind of messed up to have a negative word for people into Japanese culture, while people who are into British culture are called Anglophiles. The implication is that British culture is worthy of interest, while Japanese culture is not? 🤷♀️
I’m a weeb but even I think that if someone shows up in full cosplay on the first date that’s odd. Also Abba, she’s a Demon Slayer character, not a bleach character.
I am fat phobic. Because I am afraid to get fat again. Being overweight and obese is not healthy for me or anyone honestly. But I know exactly what size and weight I feel better at. I don't believe that people should be judged because they don't prefer bigger people to date. It doesn't make them afraid. It's just their preference.
That’s fine but remember fat people are people too. Nothing wrong with your mindset. Edit: I lost about 90 pounds and I’m still going through with weight loss but I would never treat people as less because I think their unhealthy. Other help them or keep your mouth closed. And NO CALLING THEM NAMES AND BELITTLING THEM IS NOT HELP.
@@suavesweett I never said I was fat phobic against other people. I guess I should have stated that so that's my bad but I would never dog on anyone being fat because I have been fat and I am still a little overweight. But you are right fat people are people and have feelings and emotions that effect them. I know what it's like.
There's a reason most people instinctively don't find obesity attractive, it's because it's unhealthy, we're just wired like that as humans. Of course there are always exceptions, but denying it's generally in our nature and shaming those honest enough to admit it's not their thing, is sick. Not everything has to be 100% a social construct. Also, the US needs to fight obesity harder, there's a reason there aren't as many fat people where I live most of time (in Europe): It's not promoted and food standards are far healthier (no slice of bread with 6g of sugar inside of it, or other crazy american things).
What really annoys me is seeing the behind the scenes of this ordeal and finding out that they are separated by groups. It feels like a gang mentality would obviously form. These dating shows should be ONE on ONE.
Yeah, I am single and live near where this is made (Seattle, USA), but you would have to pay me at least $500k for my short ugly ass to appear on this thing 🤣
In my opinion, the whole thing is just for entertainment. To build drama and make it so the audience has things to laugh at or critique. I doubt the match ups are very successful anyway. I mean it’s a show where a button interjects your date with random, embarrassing info while you’re on camera and everyone is racing to reject the other person for whatever reason. The gang mentality just adds another element and I feel like it’s been going on for a while but they’re just now showing it
@@dapo3538 the sad thing tho and reality is people take these things serious even when they arnt supposed to be and idk if it isn't, then you have social media and news outlets and stuff all cover things like this and demonize these people who reject fat women, which Def needs to happen more in my opinion LOL (the rejections), fat is not beautiful. But that's my view. Shows like these hurt people and those around them.
Exactly. That’s the only reason Nathan got rejected. The single mom felt like she was winning for the girls by rejecting him. Pretty sure he would’ve been successful with the Gypsy girl. But tbh, almost all of those girls were on the bigger side
Those girls were itching to get rid of that guy for rejecting that plus sized. But none of them would mind her eliminating herself from being competition by her diet.
EXACTLY. As a former fat girl, I'd immediately distrust my skinnier female coworkers/acquaintances/friends when they'd blatantly lie to my face with the typical, "you're not fat, you're beautiful!" I truly believe this fat acceptance delusion is not only incentivizing laziness and complacency, but it's a way for single women to eliminate their competition because WE KNOW most men don't want a fat chick. No one can convince me otherwise.
I'm obese and I don't even want to look for someone to date right now because how should I even be able to find someone I'm attracted to, when I don't find myself attractive. When a person is going out actively looking for someone to date, I expect them to be satisfied with their looks and when you are okay with staying obese for the rest of your life, than sorry but that is going to be a really short life.
This whole fat and proud movement has gone so far left that we are pretending that finding someone who is obviously overweight and extremely unhealthy....is "fatphobic".

People are sensitive to being viewed as lesser attractive so we protect them by shielding them from Criticism. You go on an ugly persons IG and all you see is "you're beautiful" comments. You cant pass the buck to the outside world because you're struggle is hard on you. Everyone's struggle is hard on them
“People who are fat can also be healthy and some obese people can live even longer than non obese people! 🤓” “And there are fat people who have medical conditions where they can’t loose their weight! It’s not always a choice! So you have to love them the way they are” -some SJW somewhere
No fatphobia is a thing this just isn't fatphobia. Fatphobia is treating someone different and being rude or prejudice because they're fat. Example if a fat woman was denied entry into a club even if she has the esthetics for the club but she was big THAT is fatphobia this is just preferences
Yeah surely genuinely ugly people have a far greater claim to victimhood than fat people. Fat people can lose weight by just exercising more and eating less. The only way for genuinely ugly people to change their bone structure is through a series of insanely expensive surgeries that carry a high level of risk.
Im saying this as a fat girl thats in the process of fixing the body I messed up. I dont understand how you can force someone to be attracted to someone else. I dont get that, why would I wanna date someone who isn't into me??? Im confused... These people really are insane.
go for it !! i also used to be fat. not terribly fat, i weighed around 230 pounds, but ive lost around 60 pounds or more to this point in about 5 or 6 months and i can tell you it feels soooo good to be in shape, it takes a bit for results to really show themselves, took about 2 months til i actually noticed a change, but if u push through that suddenly it seems like the pounds start dropping like flies and every day u get better and better looking, it actually becomes addicting tbh lol. the main, most important thing BY FAR to keep in mind, but also the hardest thing to do, is being consistent. you dont have to do a ton, workout maybe 10-15 mins a day for 5 days a week, and change your diet to involve only 100% whole wheat bread, white breads or even 50% whole wheat breads are not good for you, a VERY strict limit of around 20 grams of refined sugars a day (the sugars in fruit and things like milk dont count towards this, u can have however much of those u want altho i would say stick to 2 cups of milk a day) and thats only if you cant give up refined sugars completely, i admittedly love my coffee creamers and gummi candies. eat things like chicken, eggs, fish, broccoli, rice, salads, honestly any greens, and however much fruit you want. NEVER eat snacks, things like chips are some of the worst for losing weight. if u need to snack, snack on things like pickles, a handful of almonds, salt and vinegar almonds really helped me not have the cravings for a bag of chips, and regular pickles have virtually no calories in them unless you get the buttered kinds. be careful with cooking oils, just one tablespoon has around 120 calories in it, a lot of which are fats that can inflate the amount of calories you eat to surprisingly high numbers, using a 0 calorie cooking spray or just a little bit of butter is much better, butter isnt as bad for you as ppls say it is but it can tack on the calories if you use too much, it only takes a very small amount of a good butter to keep whatever ur cooking from sticking, and to add some great flavor. look at the nutrition label on EVERYTHING. you would be surprised how many calories are in certain things. dressings for salad can easily turn a 200 calorie meal into a 500 calorie meal. never get or eat anything unless you know roughly how many calories are there. also keep in mind, dont starve yourself. you still have to eat a good amount lol. eat a good breakfast, a couple eggs, a piece of toast, and a banana is a good starting point, every morning. eat something simple for lunch, maybe a seasoned tuna sammich, with some light mayonnaise, spicy brown mustard, relish, and a spicy or cheddary thin sliced cheese. for dinner you can eat a little heavier if you want, and once a week or every other week u can eat something fun as a treat. i love me a good pizza on the weekends. what you'll find is after a while of eating healthy and in smaller portions, you start to really develop a good relationship with food, and actually start loving food more. i prolly typed waaaay too much for anyone to have the patience to read lmoa but i cant help it, im super passionate about this stuff...
My take is, fat phobia is when you're going out of your way to insult an overweight person who has no connection to you, does not interact with you, it's not somebody with whom you have any personal business. I do not think it's the same at all when it comes to one's personal dating preference. He did not call her out, he did not insult her, he just knew the type he wanted to date. the contestant after that immediately rejected somebody because they were not attractive to them. a contestant before was rejected because of their profession Lastly I'll add that while I mentioned that fat phobia has to do with somebody unrelated, there are times when it's related person such as a friend or family member, that's a sad similar but whole other issue all together.
I agree, fatphoboa is going out of your way to degrade someone regarding their weight. Even as a fat woman, I’m not gonna shame people into dating me/ I just don’t want unsolicited commentary about my weight.
@@khaki_man no one takes this concern with smokers, and you can also have the same health issues associated with obesity and not be fat if you have a shitty diet and don’t exercise. Some of y’all just look for reasons to talk about fat people and try to disguise it as a health concern.
@@khaki_man I’ve personally lost family members to heart disease and high blood pressure and none of them were fat or considered obese. Instead of being concerned about diet and exercise you are worried about one symptom that you can visually see in some people and not the ROOT cause, that’s how we can tell you are full of shit sir… Smoking is the cause of many other diseases which is why it’s been addressed. Obesity is one of many symptoms of the root cause of poor diet and lack exercise.
One thing that kinda gets me about people that honestly I find to be rude is simply just not being real. Why didn't the guy ask about physical interests if he did not dig on a big girl. It's honest and allows him to answer the question too. I'm into thin women, that might have opened the room to her asking would you mind dating a big girl? Or he could just be straight I don't want to be rude but I'm really looking for someone thin and was wondering if you are? They were both cringe. Lol But I'm biased though because I am not used to people dressing like that, so it's possible the girl was just be herself, nothing wrong with that. Lol
No dude, There's a difference between not wanting to be with somebody because they're not your type and literally going out of your way to make sure the person you're talking to isn't fat as fast as you possibly can because you find them so unattractive, the thought of accidentally flirting with 1 is so off putting and unappealing to you that you wont even risk talking to 1 for more than a second if you don't have to. being fat is not a body type XD
@@evil_m0orty953 how is it not a body type.
@@cristianiliusi3489 It absolutely is.
The term fatphobic for me is existing, because people having those issues, naturally, have complexes of their body images and they are simply ashamed, to the point, that someone tought that term. so, to conclude it does not even exist. because... according to other terms like that it suggest that someone have fear, is repulsive toward, what? body fat, that this person have as well? idk, it's stupid tbh. it may be unpopular opinion and a long response, but i hope i explained to you what i really meant. tbh i was saying something serious and meme'ing at the same time at my previous post XD sorry. i don't know if you wanted a serious responce, but now i've explained more i hope so, didn't i? but, at the end, we live in society.

the existence of “fatphobia” when it comes to dating preferences implies the existence of “heightphobia”, “unemployedphobia”, “skinnyphobia”, “singleparentphobia” etc.
The possibilities are endless when you live in an over-apologetic society that tries so hard to compensate for bullying and social discrimination that they will warp reality itself just to make said victims feel special instead of just treating them like human beings.

As an overweight female, women that are my size and bigger need to understand that everyone has their preferences. So if a man doesn't like me because of my size, race, the way I dress etc, that's ok. We all have preferences, stop making men feel bad for liking what they like.

If a man doesn’t like you for your race that isn’t fine. That’s racist
What also bothers me... Do people understand they cannot shame someone into dating them/their type? And no matter how loud you are, people would not find you attractive. They will just think that you're not only not attractive to them physically, but also have a horrible character and no way they would be around you.

@x marks the spot Do you have the same energy for the girl felt all up on a guy’s face and muscles? Because she was on a blind date and used other senses to determine what the guy looked like. What about smelling the other person?
@x marks the spot doesn’t matter if looks matter 2nd or 1st to you. In the end, looks still matter to you, making your point moot.
@x marks the spot wish i could say the same about yours.
Hypocrisy
It’s on both sides lbs.. they fetishize white people/men & do it back as well
As a brazilian I know how you feel.
As a Latina I now what are you talking about 😅😅😅 I’ve got men went crazy when they realize I’m Latina and it’s awkward af 😂😂

I like how the one girl was encouraged to feel the dude's arms but the Korean dude was scrutinized for hugging the girls to check their body types.
The hypocrisy in these streets is CRAZY.
For real brooo!!!
I guess the whole consent thing flys out the window as well. The button can encourage a man to let himself be felt up but if it ever encouraged a woman to let herself be touched by a man, there'd be outrage. 😂

Good for you! If people in your life want to critique your lifestyle when you want to he healthier they are delusional.
I personally hated when I was fatter, I absolutely hated what I looked like in the mirror. And even when I dated females, I just don’t like bigger girls either. It’s just my preference. 🤷🏻♀️ even for myself lol
I wouldn't want friends who don't support me wanting to be healthier anyway. Do you, dear one!
Women also have waaay more preferences for this that can’t be changed like height, but the moment a man has a preference for a woman’s weight it’s too far🤦🏻♂️
Also, that one girl also fetishized Asian men because of her obsession with anime.
You mean "crossing the Alps and the Rubicon down south to Rome."
And yeah, I made a reference about Hanibal and his Carthaginian war elephants.
@@prepordietryin9119 I feel like bigger men are definitely treated better than big women. Dad bod is a thing but for women is not the same even after giving birth. Society is definitely way more critical of women then men .

It's the same with transphobia. I can say I'm open to date transpeople even, but if I say in my opinion a transwoman is not a real woman, that is grounds for transphobia. An irrational fear of them? You're unhealthy. It's gross.
THANK YOU! Everyone has a preference and its personal. Also these preferences change with time as you age.
I'm one of those who probably would not date a muscular woman (not really sure as I'm more of a come what may person when it comes to attraction). But really though, there are muscular women who I think are sexy and that someone would be down to date them. So keep up with what you're doing as long as you're happy with it. Korea got very interesting and a very popular destination in those last 5 years, highly frequented by younger western women aged 19-25 who mainly seek for an oppa.

There's a big difference between hating and shaming someone for being fat and just not being atracted to them.
Fatphobia just feels like another thing to claim victimhood over. Its the thing in life you have the MOST CONTROL OVER, your own body. Your body, your choice your results, your life. You cant pass the buck to the outside world because you're struggle is hard on you. Everyone's struggle is hard on them
I agree, if people did not speak about it. It was not spoken about it.

“And there are fat people who have medical conditions where they can’t loose their weight! It’s not always a choice! So you have to love them the way they are”

Yep. You can do something about your weight but not necessarily your looks.

When Aba threw his hoodie over his head, I lost it.
My take is, fat phobia is when you're going out of your way to insult an overweight person who has no connection to you, does not interact with you, it's not somebody with whom you have any personal business.
I do not think it's the same at all when it comes to one's personal dating preference. He did not call her out, he did not insult her, he just knew the type he wanted to date. the contestant after that immediately rejected somebody because they were not attractive to them. a contestant before was rejected because of their profession
Lastly I'll add that while I mentioned that fat phobia has to do with somebody unrelated, there are times when it's related person such as a friend or family member, that's a sad similar but whole other issue all together.
I agree, fatphoboa is going out of your way to degrade someone regarding their weight. Even as a fat woman, I’m not gonna shame people into dating me/ I just don’t want unsolicited commentary about my weight.
