I Love their Roast Beef, Soft shell Crab, Catfish, Oyster. Haven't tried their Meatball. Even their FRENCH FRY PobOy is Delicious. Cause it comes with Debris RB Gravy.
Everything but the Burger looked DELICIOUS! No Gator Po'boy? Gator and Shrimp would be my top two choices! Safe Journey! Yellowbird Blue Agave Sriracha!!!
I had to double check that this came out 2 days ago. The prices are about 60% of what they would charge in Chicago. Tremendous value. The $7 soup would be $12 here, easily.
That roastbeef poboy looked pretty good. The bread seemed to be holding in all the gravy so that it goes in your mouth and not running down your arm. Good stuff!

Hey if you make your way back to North Georgia sometime, you should head to Commerce. Its downtown strip is located just a few miles off of I85 North of Atlanta. There is a place called Commerce Sports Bar and Grille there. It’s owned by this woman from Uzbekistan(she’s Russian) she opened up about 8 years ago now. They serve the standard Americana faire you would expect at most sports bars, but everything is made in house aside from a few frozen appetizers. They had some issues in the past with staffing but they guy running the kitchen now seems to really know his stuff and between the owner the cooks and the chef they consistently pump out quality food. It can get busy at times and everyone tends to order at the same time so tickets can take some time. It’s worth the wait though the food you get is amazing.
I very much appreciate the tip and I'm always looking for great spots like that. Sadly the lists and rankings of spots are not always accurate. Thanks so much!
@@NOLAGent1 I travel frequently(work takes me across some of the southeast) and have been going on and off two to three times a month for the past few years. How do you rank your places you go? Or is there a list you pull from?
@TownieFormal I do my rankings on Yelp. Some businesses get all crazy and mad if they get a three star rating on Yelp but three stars is average and the vast majority of places are average which is fine and I eat at way more 3 star joints than anything else. To.get a 1 star, 2 star, 4 star and 5 star you really need to earn it! I have a good bell curve on the thousands of reviews I have done on Yelp. There is a link to my Yelp account in the description area of all my videos. Google maps also has a similar star ranking and some smaller places have more Google maps reviews and Yelp might have none. Yelp seems to be quickly losing popularity. TripAdvisor review rankings seem to be more favored and valued by more restaurants these days. I have started doing Google maps reviews and just do the same review on both Yelp and Google maps. Yelp does weird sketchey things and has deleted hundreds of my reviews for no good reason over the years...
@@NOLAGent1 awesome, I can definitely see your point of view on how reviews are handled. I’ve always believed the 4th and 5th stars are reserved for places that go the extra mile to make you feel at home or provide service you wouldn’t expect. I’m always looking for new places to try so I’ll definitely check out your reviews ❤️
I live in metarie,I love that place, the roast beef is the best their, been going their for years, they also have a place called parans po boyson veterans highway and in Kenner on willams ,by kenner seafood
Whats up Nola G, we are coming down in October and I will definitely try this place out. I wanted to know have you heard or been to a place called B sweetcakes and restaurant? It’s located at 704 N rampart st, I’ve tried to get there but could never get there in time. I was wondering if you have been or planning on doing a Nola Gent video there ? lol
The place you are talking about is B Sweet Bistro & Bakery? I haven't been there yet. I'm currently out of town on a project so I'm not sure I will be able to make a visit to this spot before October and get a video out but I will add it to my list.
Please don’t go here me and my husband thought we found a nice po boy spot when we found this place our first time we order a hot sausage sandwich and it was real hot 🥵 so we ate it only to try it again still spicy 🌶️ as hell we disregard the spicy and still ate it only to go back the third time this time we open our sandwich up only to find they added black pepper to our sandwich WE NEVER WENT BACK

My wife and I love you channel. We love NOLA and Gulf shores area, so we are always checking you out for recommendations!!!! lol.
Much appreciated and I'm happy you get value out of my videos 👍😀
you have the stablest hand of anyone I know!!! Everyone else uses phone mounts! But I know.. LA is LA.. I'm from NW La, SP. New Sub!
Most places around NOLA have such tiny spaces and tight fits it is hard to fit tripods and gimbels in the spaces. Thanks for watching 👍
That roastbeef poboy looked pretty good. The bread seemed to be holding in all the gravy so that it goes in your mouth and not running down your arm. Good stuff!
It is always ranked among the top of the best NOLA area roast beef poboys!
Poboys and gumbo looks good. Thanks for posting!
Hard to find places that do a King Size poboy these days! Gumbo was nice. Thanks for watching 👍
