Everything in the deck that was budget went up in price, like it’s insane. Flavershim went from like $1 to $12. Us budget players can’t win with Lorcana sadly
I would give it time, a lot of this stuff is in starter decks and the set is still brand new. Not to mention this is probably the most hyped deck since release Ruby Amethyst right now.
You mention Amber/Steel does not have a way to deal with Tamatoa. A bit off the mark there, they have the newly released "World's Greatest Criminal Mind" which they should be running in some numbers now. Either way, this pawpsicle deck rocks!
This deck is a lot of fun, runs circles around my old attempts to play items and Tamatoa. I just wish I’d bought Flaversham when it was cheap, didn’t realize it would catch on and be a thing and the prices on it are getting crazy for a rare found in the precon. Hoping it’ll die down a bit so I can snag some at a more reasonable price.
Won a 50+ player tournament with a list similar to this i posted in dreamborn also don't sleep on the 2 drop cruella de vill she takes out early agroo and ivasion. Also dont give you're opponents ink no lwt it go and hades lady trumaine is a house after a be prepared
I think if you find Pawpsicle early you should be totally fine, Emerald/Amber have no way to deal with beefy characters so Tamatoa should carry. Noi and Queen of Hearts are also super important in controlling the early game.
I’d say it mostly comes down to luck, sure they can strip your hand down fairly fast. But hopefully you’ll be smart enough to amass as much ink as you can so whenever you do draw Be Prepared, you can reset early and control easily from there even with a small hand size. The main flaw of discard decks is they can only do it on their turn, so you will always have at least a card in hand when you draw, and if it happens to be something you can play to get your draw engine back running, you’re golden. Either that or they whiff on their discard stuff and you’ve drawn so many cards by then it doesn’t matter what they do.
Ideally you’d wanna go Pawpsicle turn 1, One Jump Ahead turn 2, Hiram turn 3 which will net you so much advantage early on that you’ve basically won at that point
theres one deck better than this one that another youtuber covered just cus its more balanced. But man lorcana needs to work on its balance and availability before its already like yugioh on release...nah lmao at least even top decks require you to play past turn 3 lmao. Nothing will ever be as broken as yugioh
Your list is one of the better ones that aligns with my playstyle and own deck choices. I'm going to use your list as a jumping off point.

Play purple steel or green bounce it's very cheap and does it's job

@@timc2943 is it? If I’m playing bounce that means purple right? Pinocchio went from $3 to $12, and Arthur went from $4 to $12
Annoys the hell out of me, here I was expecting items to be low key and non-meta again so I figure I’d buy Flaversham later. Yeah…nope…fuck…
Chumps normally don’t win
I think this is the definitive version of this deck. I have been having a blast and the mirror matches are really fun.
This thing gets even more nuts with 4 Belle. Most decks run out of removal before you run out of Tamatoa and Belle massive lore numbers.
Thank you for all the great tips !
This is why when I play Amber steel I almost never quest with RS Stitch because it dies to Maui or just any big card lol.

Oops, missed that one :s
Also potentially strength of a burning fire but you need quite a few characters in play but easier after challenging the crab first

It’s in the starter deck so it will definitely go down. Also this deck is super hyped right now which isn’t helping the price at all.
How would an Amber Steel deck keep up against this deck?

Can you share the dreamborn link please? Trying to build a similar deck as well and would like to see different variations!
Amber Steel does have an answer to tamatoa in Worlds Greatest criminal, I play 4 in my Amber Amethyst but not sure if amber steel is using it
can you banish the popsicle without a charakter in play?
What program are you using to play?
I have the same question
Pixelborn
In game 1, amber's "world's greatest criminal mind" could in theory clear out tamatoa right?
How do you play online?
Amber has criminal mind for large threats now, just something to keep in mind during the game!
What app is this you are playing with?
The app is called Pixelborn
How do you like this deck goes against emerald/amber discard?

Another question, whats your thought process in choosing “One jump ahead” over Mickey?

World's Greatest Criminal Mind is the single card that can kill Tamatoa from Amber
Ah that one totally slipped my mind!
In the second game, you had already inked earlier in the turn when you wanted to ink Tala.
another rookie mistake by me, oops 😬
@@phonetiic All good! Just wanted to let you know.
thanks i get to play vs this thing eveytime now. i never lose, but id like to play against a variety of decks. people are lame.
Bruhh im trying to make a deck for lorcana jfc its pricing is worse than MTG and Yugioh combined
Highly unlikely, both yugioh and mtg regularly have $40 staples in their standard formats
