Hello, I plan on playing this list on Saturday for set championships and was wondering if you have any retrospect opinions for altering the list? I’ve considered throwing in a set of Fang City locations etc. Interested in any thoughts you may have! Maybe some less budget friendly additions?

Someone got me some rise of floodborn packs to open as a gift bc they know I play a bunch of tcgs and I saw most of the cards I opened up were worthless. Tho reading their card text some looked pretty decent. Sure enough this video had some of the cards I got being used in the decks discussed ... so maybe I can put them to use if I go to my locals for their Lorcana events instead of just my typical weekly old school "time wizard" yugioh events I attend. Thanks for the video!

With Into the Inklands being out for a good week and a half to two weeks now, I'm thinking of making major changes to the deck since I'm still playing it, adding in some locations to see how well it goes! Haven't made a definitive thought of what I wanna replace what with yet, but I know I'll find something that'll synergize with this deck well!

Two of the later amethyst cards revealed for Inklands are just silly with this. The Lamp (2) Item [GOOD OR EVIL] Banish this item - If you have a character named Jafar in play, draw 2 cards. If you have a character named Genie in play, return chosen character with cost 4 or less to their player’s hand. Chernabog's Followers (1) [can be inkwelled] Storyborn Ally [Restless Souls] Whenever this character quests, you may banish them to draw a card. 2(S) / 1 (W) / 1 (L)

Evasive was my first deck and is so underplayed in the community. I recently added the Into the Inklands Ursula that when played, the opponent reveals their hand and I discard a song card of my choosing. Basically the anti be prepared! Im still tweaking it with locations, but I think discard and evasive in set 3 will be strong.

Lol "who plays most diabolical scheme" ummm I do!!! In ruby amethyst, all the maleficent cards and all the mim cards and even lady Tremaine, all can be banished to get rid of any of your characters. And it can be sung. No one expects it. I run those over teeth all day

Do you gain lore for every card you draw or is 1 lore for AWNW

I suspect we will see Launch played and the new 5-damage card from Steel, just to deal with these cards with 5 willpower.

So when a character sings do they exert before the songs effect goes off? The reason I didn’t initially think about this combo is that I presumed the exertion happens at the same time/ after they carry out the effect, but re-reading the wording of songs I think I may be wrong. Can anyone confirm please?

I am really excited for the jafar deck but... we have to Keep in mind that there is now Song discard and targeted Hand disruption. We have to See if it turns out better than other strategies. What i am thinking... no jafar dreadnaught here? He is super value and can be shifted onto a 2 cost jafar or be another base for the 7 cost

Yeah these are the kind of decisions made by the team there that break the game. This is a marketing ploy. I've been considering Lorcana for a while and decisions like this that make the game extremely unbalanced and, tbh, dumb makes me not want to get into it.

I’d do the shiftable Steel Jafar also, need as many shift targets as possible to make this happen consistently by turn 5-6

With how many floodborn the deck has I'm sure you should fit at least a couple blue faerie if not the playset. Also you should try the 4drop jafar that draw on combat to ensure you get as many target as possible for shifting and singing on the same turn

I think the jafar text reads more like a draw trigger vs per card drawn.. so awnw and friends on the other side only gain you a lore each time because jafar sees the draw action .. doesnt necessarily care about number drawn. i think if it was really meant to see each card drawn then they should have worded it better : “whenever you draw a card, gain a lore for each card drawn” This card and deck would be too oppressive.. maybe moreso than red purple already is .. cant be good for meta

Honestly think jafar should be nerfed so that it only work once. it's so incredibly busted, I don't know how they're going about creating new cards but someone messed up here.

And here I was just naively thinking of what a nice inclusion he would be in current ruby/amethyst builds. Forget about that, just swap in steel and burn the world with back to back (to maybe back?) awnw spam lol.

Everyone is so focused on creating an OTK, but this uninteractable lore gain also makes it easier to win most matches regardless of OTK or not. Currently when you're playing against Amethyst, you know the game is all but over when they reach 16-17 lore, due to uninteractable lore gain from Goat. Now they only need to get to 12-13 lore. Sounds like a fun meta. 🙄

Emerald Ursula doesnt even hard counter the deck if this becomes meta because we run Friends and GYS as well as AWNW. But if Ursula is seen a lot we may want a few more songs like SOARF or LTSRO to just hold so we don't brick our combo. But the potential is INSANE!!!

I immediately started brewing as soon and Jafar and Genie came out. I even ordered more foil AWNW's. The fact that my favorite movie also gets more support is just the cherry. I'm with you on top decks to look out for!

wait what ? is jafar supposed to work like this ? i understood it another way, as whenever we draw card(s) we gain 1 lore, regardless of how many card we draw on this instance, like, rabbit, draw 1 gain 1 lore, friends other side, draw 2 gain 1 lore, whole new world, draw 7 gain 1 lore, has it been confirmed by Ravensburger ?

Also Jafar basically turns all of your Rabbits into Super goats that draw a card. And turns your FOTOS into draw 2 gain 2 lore.
