Would love to see a feature or critique of this deck. New Player here! Your content has been great and very helpful. A budget deck I stumbled across was amber Saphire grand pabbie heal with a dwarf package. Would love to see some budget decks covered in general. 😊
I mostly play Sapphire Steel and tend to beat this deck due to Cogsworth generally being good into Steel and of course being able to cast AWNW. That said, this deck does look fun. I am going to try it out. Looks like a deck that has great skill expression and rewards reps.
You should try ruby steel deck is so fun! Focuses on big Aladdin and Shere Khan with a lot of draw cards like the queen if hearts and Jafar. easily my favorite deck for fun games and it actually is pretty good! Not tier 1 by any means, but thats ok
Man shere Khan I think is one of the most under the radar cards, especially paired with big Aladdin I've been using it with purple for some nice Rush options. Nothing like swinging with big al and 2 Khan's on board and gaining 8 lore for just challenging.
Very cool to get to play against you in game 1! I'm not sure I even registered I was playing against you in the moment haha. As soon as I saw that discard deck I knew I was in big trouble, one of my bigger weaknesses for sure xD
Good list. I have been back and forth about needing one drop characters. I have found the need for Smash and also Ring the Bell to deal with A/S and other steel decks
@@phonetiic I really like having hook. I don't love Daisy. By the time she's online I've often already discarded my opponents hand or have another way to finish the job. I also like Happy Hook and might swap lucifers or flynns for a couple; Turn 1 hook, turn 2 bucky, turn 3 happy hook sings sudden chill forces 2 card discard and fox/rafiki/etc can't even challenge him, so he can challenge/sing/quest his heart out for 2 more turns before you even have to think about a threat like maui...
@@phonetiic I had cut 2 Improvise in the zero version for 2 Ring the Bell. Helps vs big Cinderella. Basically our Criminal Mind. I don’t want to be forced to extend too hard to get value off Strength so I’m at 3/3 Smash right now. I’m gonna have to find room for Hook
Having played both control and discard at various times, imo amethyst/ruby control still has a good matchup as they can begin stockpiling cards before you can start discarding usually, and at a greater rate than you can discard them normally unless you get a really strong/lucky hand or they whiff badly. Against pawpsicles though, yeah this deck can usually strip it pretty well since their draw engine is a lot more unreliable. I just dislike how you need 4 Beasts to help smooth out your own draw since Prince John naturally becomes weaker if you’re not making your opponent discard.
am i a bad person? I mean... my first tcg was yugioh and ... i played discard / hand destruction (until the first banned list of course), then WAY later i played Final Fantasy TCG...and played ice/lighing discard or pure ice discard. In Magic my colours are black/blue... for discard. Every card game where "DISCARD" is a keyword belive me i will play that strategy (even for boardgames lol). SO OF COURSE I WILL PLAY THIS DECK xD
This could have been correct but I think my thought would have been that they could have just used a Grab Your Sword instead of Tink and then saved the Big Tink for my next Bucky. But you definitely could have sung there, it’s a difficult decision to make

Cogsworth is super hard for Steel to play around. I’ve considered adding Big Cinderella into the deck for it

Sigh…I’ll ask the question….what would be the best replacement for Beast? Got everything else…I know he’s good but what would be the next best option?

Hook was honestly my favourite card in the deck, I also think you can play Smash over Raging Fire, couldn’t find room for Ring the Bell however

Is Daisy really worth it? She seems slow, and most of the time you’d rather play Jafar on turn 4.

In the second game, did you not want to sing sudden chill with Bucky knowing they more than likely had big tink next turn?

I play a list without Lucifer and Bibi...For me the biggest weakness of this deck are big chars like Cindi you cant handle.
how does this do against the Ruby/Amethyst meta?
It does fantastic, it has a very good match up against Ruby Amethyst
Played a few games and a fun deck. Luckily steel keeps it in line.
You shoukd rip your opponents cards. You get banned for that 😂
