How to judge Mahadasha in Vedic Astrology (Part 3): Sequence of Mahadasha
Nine potential Mahadashas in Vedic system most widely used during lifetime.
Each has specific meaning in judgement of Mahadasha.
Mahadasha cannot be judged from only one technique, so.CHECK ALSO also the the first and second videos in this series, dealing with Rising sign and Mahadasha, and Degree of Planet in Mahadasha.

I started my Saturn Dasha, then entered my mercury in 2001. only 1 year after i got sick and i was very ill with no help for my epilepsy. But in 2018 I enterd my 3 dasha in ketu and i finally found something that helps. So 2018 as my 3 dahas was a turing point for the best
I was born in Ketu mahadasha. This was a very convenient explanation for me.
Saturn was my first Mahadasha and like you said it was very harsh during those times. Sure i had good moments during that period but that's because of the Antradashas. Currently running my 2nd Mahadasha which is another long one from Mercury. Overall way better than Saturn but the 2nd Part of the Mahadasha Series gave me the answer to why i'm stuck in life.
Wow brilliant!! My 5th mahadasha was Mars.... Was Very very difficult!! Lost everything and almost died! Good thing I'm done with that. I'm in my 6th now, Rahu, and I'm picking up the pieces! So far my wishes are being fulfilled slowly and with hard work too
It really depends on the dignity of your mars and if it’s a functional malefic or benefic to your lagna. I honestly don’t find the sequence accurate at all from my personal experience. I am on my 4th sequence and the 2nd sequence which was supposed to be smooth was the worst period in my life and the most traumatic with constant abuse and struggles. It stopped as soon as I moved into my third sequence but then my dasha lord was in very good dignity and placement.

My 5th mahadasha will be Jupiter it’s placed in Aquarius libra ascendent

Another great video! Exalted Guru maha dasa 4th has been very good in terms of having a miracle baby and pursuing higher education in healing but so much struggle and suffering too. D60 Guru is debilitated so I believe Guru’s promise of blessing is overshadowed by hard work and suffering.

Oh my God..now I understand. My 1st MD was Venus. Venus is in 4th house Pisces and is my Atmakaraka. And Ketu is in 8th house Cancer...And my first years in Life were hell. It is so interesting
My first MD was saturn, mercury was ups and downs, have to admit except of losing my parents and some business deceptions, it was fine even with sade sati. Now ketu MD coming is stressing me out I can't handle more deception nor material delays😢 I have this 2 years I feel like things are blooming again after sade sati I hope ketu don't shut it down 🙏 2023
Excellent video. For the Third Mahadasha (Vipat) we have to check the placement of Sun in D1 Chart. So matters related to the 1st house will be a prime focus during this Mahadasha? I'm running Ketu MD (3rd MD, Ketu in 10th, Sun in 1st, Scorpio) very difficult and hard career and financial times. Thus will it be a combination of matters of 10th house and 1st house?
Jupiter will be my 5th mahadasha in 2 yr. It is 29 deg and a difficult planet from both my D1 and moon chart. It is gantanta (29 deg Scorpio) and combust (2 deg away from the sun but the sun is in the next house). So, based on the 3 videos, jupiter mahadasha should be very difficult for me. If my jupiter is weak (gantanta and combust), will it be better or worse? FYI, jupiter is in Pisces in D9.
First mahadasha was Mercury, but at only 2 years old and change I entered my Ketu mahadasha. Is there some kind of balancing effect that occurs with the dashas when you only experience the last years of a dasha to begin with? I ask this because I'm currently running Moon, and though it's hard it's been all about the practical, go to work, in the flow-- and feels like the fourth dasha-- or is THIS in some sense the wrong direction of the 5th pratyari dasha?

Spot on , I am Scorpio moon, my 5th MD , moon was terrible, majorly due to Sade Sati too I guess wherein I lost everything, job, career, house , monkey.
The 4th , Sun ,was the most stable MD.
Now that I have entered 6th MD of Mars since last year, I still haven't found my foothold.
And the next will be Rahu MD😱😱 the 7th one. I am 49
I.m doing Rahu Ketu Mahadasha vids soon..give Mars time to settle in, judge from Lagna and Moon sign as House Lord also. But at least 5th is over👍
@@astrologyloka being aquarius riising and Scorpio moon, AND mars in my natal libra 9th house, since all the travel houses are active in transit, wondering why no travel yet. Maybe we should also look at money houses as without money no travel. And of course now Corona 🤣🤣
Fly High a few things..fixed signs don,t travel easily...even if they want to..mars is quite weak in Libra..ninth House is philosophical travel of the mind also.. check how is in D9! Mars rules Astrology also so study of Astrology definitely favoured ..
@@astrologyloka well mars in 12th house pisces in d9, in 9th house aries in d10. I shifted to travel industry a year back from banking travelling has been my passion. But now with what the scene is with Corona , the industry has suffere a lot with no jobs

Started with Jupiter..second was Saturn till the age of 25…very difficult time….mercury gave me my first job and did well till the age 43…Ketu took me abroad…now just entered Venus..I can’t relate to what you are suggesting in your video as first second etc
I am sort of worried now... My third phase of ketu mahadasha and mercury antardasha comes to an end in Jan 21. Tbh I was eagerly waiting g for my Venus mahadasha however after getting to know that higher the degree of a planet difficult is the Mahadasha period. I am a Pisces ascendant with Venus in 6th house of Leo at 24.04 degree... I feel so dejected. I've already been through 19 years of Saturn, followed by 17 years of mercury and now 7 years of ketu with sade sathi... Feels like the world is closing in.
No no no, it's not that simple. Each chart is different, each person's karma is different. Even the worst dashas come with good times and exalted dashas come with bad times.
AK dasha is a great opportunity to pay back karma sure, but that doesn't mean it's going to be the worst period of your life, by no means. Please study your whole chart before deciding that. Example - if your Venus is well placed in D9 and D10, you'll get good results. Sure you may face problematic scenarios, but you'll overcome them.
Also Jaimini Karaka system is one system of astrology - it's not the be all and end all. Free will is important and necessary. You can always live well, but if you get into a worried state - you'll be anxious and stressed instead. Sort of like a self fulfilling prophecy 😅😅 Good luck!

I was born with Moon in Gemini in the 9th house. Libra Ascendant. My Moon is in Punarvasu Nakshatra - Pada 1. So, I was born in a Jupiter Mahadasha. 4 months before my 16th birthday started Saturn Mahadasha. Now I have 31 years old and I am in a Saturn mahadasha/Rahu antaradasha. Jupiter antaradasha, the last subperiod, it will start next april. Mercury Mahadasha (3rd Dasa) will start in 2023 when I will have 34 years old. Ketu mahadasha will start in my 50's and Venus mahadasha (5th Dasa) will start when I will have 58...

6th house Lord is challenging MD, but check D9 also,..also if sixth lord is Asc lord eg..Taurus and Scorpio,,it is just life as normal !
But 6th Sequence Dasha brings stability, compared to chaos of 5th!
What if vipat is your ascendents ruling planets Mahadasha?
Like my ruling planet is mercury and I’m going to enter it’s mahadasha in 2026.
I was born into Jupiter mahadasha with only two years left of it. If I make it to 106 years old, do I re-enter Jupiter mahadasha for a 10th mahadasha? I'm sure this is possible with ayurveda and hatha yoga. Supposedly Li Ching-Yuen made it to 250 years old doing the Chinese equivalents. That's two full cycles of garbage burning!

My 7th Dasha is Moon.
Moon is in Punarvasu (ruled by Jupiter) in 2nd house, Vargothama in D9 3rd house, and Punarvasu is the 7th Nakshatra.
Jupiter is in Purva Bha (ruled by Jupiter) in 9th house.
Will I obtain Moksha? Hope so because I want to. I had enough of Maya, now it time for bye-a hehe "]
Does this work on a chart who's best suited for a dasha that isn't vimshottari? (like if lagna vargottama and they use Sataabdika,etc..) Which may have less than 9 mahadasha (since some skip rahu or ketu Mahadasha) ?
I would advise against using a dasha sequence which does not contemplate Ketu. This is risky and incomplete, even if it potentially applies to your case. Vimshottari, including all the variational Vimshottari options, should be followed more properly, as you cannot exclude Ketu's influence from life. When Ketu is activated, you will know, trust me.

Very interesting concept but I think dignity and placement of planet makes a huge difference. My 2nd sequence was not smooth at all, it was Ketu located in my 8th house and it was the most painful and traumatic period in my life. I am currently in my 4th sequence sun in Aries so it’s very strong and vargottama it’s also benefic for my lagna so it is very smooth sailing.

@@mattb.455 atmakaraka is moon in Pisces placed in 5th house. Being the 4th pada of Revati it is also vargottama! There is mutual exchange between my moon and Jupiter, Jupiter being in 9th house.

Can we say "as many dashas you went through as mature you are" ? I mean.. If someone is 50 y.o. And he's still in his 4th dasha, is this person as mature as someone who is 30 also in his 4th dasha? 🤔 Or how does it works?
Felix El gato interesting question !< ..maturity has two aspects..material and spiritual....it could be argued if you go quickly through Dasha sequence you are more spiritually mature..but that would depend on many factors D9;..D60...the real import of Dasha is to deliver our karmic debt after all !!

I was born in Saturn mahadasa( only for 9 years) ,then mercury for 19 years. So based on your video,Ketu in my first house by my horoscope influenced my Saturn MD?? My Saturn is in 6th house in Libra. I thought you base your mahadasa interpretation only on the planet involved in it and the bukti planet and not on these other planets you have discussed. So Loka,please explain what planet I should look at.
gold lotus Hi yes Saturn is main influence..fir you 1st MD, but KETU is influence for EVERYONE in 1st MD to give background influence also. So vid I have on this placement would be very important as early influence, and lifelong factor also.
