The thing I don't like about astrology is there's so much to keep track of when doing a reading and deciding what to do. So when people do those videos about transits based on ascendants, it doesn't do anything because your mahadasha planet is actually the real ascendant at the time. And then there's char dasha, yogini Dasha... Sick of it. Confusing af.
No, it’s only supplementary. Stick with your D1 birth chart for transits if you are getting overwhelmed..karmas are complicated. Nothing is simple I am afraid.

No we see Ascendant for Mahadasha specifically because it shows your ‘path’. Moon for Gochara..transits Yes you can add many other techniques to the basics given here..
If Rahu is at 29 degrees during Rahu Mahadasha is that very heavy karma being burned? This is the case for me, started Rahu at age 12 and I’m nearing the end at 30 now.
No Rahu has minimal karmas if he actually IS at 29 degrees…but check you have MEAN NODE calculation…he may be at zero of previous sign . Use website at the end of description box 👍

Gina I'm wondering if you can help me. Because of you iv discovered I might be running Kshema Dasha instead of Vimshottari. But the 2 dashas are so similar that it's hard to say which one I'm actually running. let me give you some examples: Vim: Born - Jupiter in 8th in hasta. Moon in 6th Kshema: Born - Ketu in in 12th in Shravana. Moon in 6th At the age of 1 got severely burned and was in intensive care for several months. Meningitis during healing made me deaf Vim: Age 5 - Saturn in 8th in Hasta. Moon in 6th Kshema: Age 6 - Venus in 10th in Anuradha. I do agree with the method of using MD lord into a chart of its own. Rahu is 9 places from my sun. It was predicted such placement is into philosophy and prone to criticize God. I was very neutral to religion but since my sun MD started I really got into a lot of philosophy and some have made me criticize God which I never thought would happen but I did. Sun is the nakshatra lord of my rahu so we shall see what else happens. My sun is also the nakshatra lord of my Venus and it’s 2nd from my sun.

While applying the equal house system, what if the maha dasa Lord falls back or move forward in the counting. Hello Gina. I've always wondered if a planet is in the border between two signs say 0 degrees Aries or 29 degrees pisces, does the planet get influenced by a mixture of both these signs. Hard to imagine that a fiery and impulsive portion of the sky(aries) can suddenly change to watery and otherworldly (pisces) just beyond a certain exact degree. Just like changes in nature are gradual, it seems tempting to also believe that the energies of different portions of the sky also change gradually. I've heard of gandanta zones and stuff but I would love to hear your explanation.
Yes it’s gantanta in that case! Hard to control..hard to focus there..29 Pisces 0 Aries minimum..but it’s not a mixture of the signs..there is no such thing..it is a mixture of the tattva..the elements of water and fire.

No you should look at starting from upanna certainly..truth is muliple MD are working,,on different levels..this is difficult some people to accept !

I do agree with the method of using MD lord into a chart of its own. Rahu is 9 places from my sun. It was predicted such placement is into philosophy and prone to criticize God. I was very neutral to religion but since my sun MD started I really got into a lot of philosophy and some have made me criticize God which I never thought would happen but I did. Sun is the nakshatra lord of my rahu so we shall see what else happens. My sun is also the nakshatra lord of my Venus and it’s 2nd from my sun.

Namaste, I have one basic doubt of how to rencile the maha dasa Lord placement based on the principles of bhava chart or Rasi / sign placement of the planets. While applying the equal house system, what if the maha dasa Lord falls back or move forward in the counting. How important the placement of the mahadasa Lord from the Lagna, D9 and Antardasa/ bhukthi planets placement from the maha dasa Lord position.Thnxs, Maarisamy

Well I said it calms things down.. not comfort exactly..depends on planet..ie if AK lord etc..no comfort there ! of course must use correct MD starting point for the chart..or sequence can be wrong..

Hello Gina. I've always wondered if a planet is in the border between two signs say 0 degrees Aries or 29 degrees pisces, does the planet get influenced by a mixture of both these signs. Hard to imagine that a fiery and impulsive portion of the sky(aries) can suddenly change to watery and otherworldly (pisces) just beyond a certain exact degree. Just like changes in nature are gradual, it seems tempting to also believe that the energies of different portions of the sky also change gradually. I've heard of gandanta zones and stuff but I would love to hear your explanation.
Yes it’s gantanta in that case! Hard to control..hard to focus there..29 Pisces 0 Aries minimum..but it’s not a mixture of the signs..there is no such thing..it is a mixture of the tattva..the elements of water and fire.

I'm confused. If I'm running moon mahadasha and my bhukti lord, Jupiter, is in the 7th house away from the moon, I thought it would have created gaj kesari yoga. Jupiter is also my badhaka lord, so will I have a mixed result?
Yes, many would read it this way…but that is not what will happen !! Of course you must judge by your whole chart..but it is difficult when 7 away..
