- Astrologer K N Rao a Legend in the field of Vedic Astrology still teaches Astrology to only a chosen few at the age of 92 in India ! He joins me for a special podcast as he shares his pearls of wisdom with me on planet remedies and life lessons through astrology !
Sri KN Rao learnt Astrology from Yogi Bhaskarananda ji of Gujarat whom he describes as the last of the ‘Rishi Astrologers’ in India who taught Rao Sir several secrets to recognize a 'spiritually enlightened' being through his horoscope! KN Rao also learnt astrology from his own mother who practised astrology in 1940’s India.
Indian Yogi Swami Moorkhanandji asked Shri KN RAO not to give up Astrology in 1982 foretelling that he is destined to revive the lost science of Astrology in India after colonized India was systematically brain-washed into believing that their own science-backed literature of Astrology from the Vedas that included deep secrets of Astronomy , Planets , Stars and the Universe ( now validated by NASA ) was a ‘myth’ or a ‘hypothetical probable science’ !
It is Astrologer KN Rao’s efforts that helped bring to light the Astrological references cited in Akbarnama, Jahangirnama and Baburnama proving that these foreign invaders also frequently consulted our Vedic astrologers and very few like Akbar even rewarded them for accurate forecasts.
Sri KN Rao has held several international conferences on Astrological discussions in India and overseas. It is due to his prolonged efforts that the Supreme Court in Hyderabad introduced ‘Vedic Astrology’ as a proper degree course in Universities like the Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan in New Delhi and Mumbai which produces on an average 4 thousand students of astrology every year in India.
A Special Note of thanks to his student Maneeza Ahuja ji @Maneezaahuja who was instrumental in introducing me to the Legendary K.N.Rao who is not less than a Maharishi born on Indian Soil !
And yes in one glance at my Horoscope he pointed out 3 things about my Life which were to the point and precise like a true Legend !

At the end of 90years, the revered KN Rao has come to the final conclusion that people are looking for escape to their problems wanting to pacify planets, and do shradh etc instead of doing the right thing. He asks us to be morally upright which is the toughest task, all temples puja's etc all come later. First dinacharya and morals and give back to society. Amazing talk!
I have the greatest respect for Rao Saheb. He has been very kind to me and read my horoscope till 2013. We lost touch and I was dreading that I may not see him again. Good to know he’s alive and well. May he live long and stay healthy.

Beyond all upays - His greatest upay is morality, devotion to god and acceptance of destiny. Clearly shows how leagues ahead he is as an astrologer and in the realm of Guru .. All Gurus preach about good karma only as the greatest "upay"
Yes, Shri Raoji is so simple. He insisted again and again on morality Which is a remedy in itself. Acceptance is important. I want to add my view little bit extra on top it. I attended Landmark forum continuously and got practicing tools of self awareness. There is no Good/ Bad in general. See something good for me could be bad for other person. It is a very personalised opinion. Whatever gives me discomfort is bad for me! We all are living in double standard. What is important is practicing self awareness, and being honest to oneself. If I am living with double standard thoughts - feelings, but I am aware of it and I accept it. May be that would give me a sense of more possibilities to give me an empowered shift in my thought process if some thing is becoming significant for me because of my double standards. Many remedies are automatically done. Then Rao sir insisted on thought process also. It is important to know from what Believe system astrologer is coming from.
Observe the 10 symptoms of Dharma and you will be free from the cluches of inauspicious planets. Bad karmas make the bad dashas more miserable and also makes good dashas appear ordinary. While good deeds save us from bad dashas and enhance the good dasha results.
In every way spirituality saves us from mess created from past karmas which reflects in the horoscope.
For Rahu dasha its recommended to avoid nonveg and alcohol because most of the people have worst phase of life in this period. Its also advised to carry out religious duties during such period.
@@Dave_en I have noticed that astrologers are very much about good and bad. For e.g I have health issue going on, health problem experience is giving me discomfort; for me the time period is bad and the dasha is bad. I need to accept that health challenges are there. My dharma is to look after my health and I need to do karma of really looking after my health. Karma is all about action. Only by knowing dharma and not taking action (karma), is incomplete journey. Like with another example Krsna helped Arjuna in realising his dharma of facing war in Mahabharata, but Arjuna was not taking action (karma) of fighting the war. Krsna then advised Arjuna “your dharma is to fight war in the current time & space you are, so Arjuna stand up and fight the war (take action - karma). Dharma & karma are the two side of the same coin. Dharma keep shifting with time and space we are in and so do our action (karma) are like according to that. That’s my view point and that’s what I have experienced in Yoga and Buddhist Zen practices. Astrology on one side talk of Pending karmas, energy attracts energy etc.. but astrologers are so much into good & bad. And that’s because of astrologers personal believes system differentiating good and bad. Nature itself teaches us if the beauty, fruits, flowers and fragrances are there, decay, waste and dirt is going to be there. 🌷

Thanks for bringing up his interview...He is an epitome in astrology. He did not have any remedy except Remembering God and helping poor and needy and being morally correct. He was blunt about kaal sarp dosh and rahu kaal as well. Definitely lots of people won't be able to digest what he said but HE IS A FATHER FIGURE IN ASTROLOGY. 🙏

@@abhishekthakkar5684 it is chanting the particular slokam from the vishnu sahasranamam corresponding to your birth start viz., janma nakshatram. That is supposed to help you. Edited: Alongside this, chant the Narayana Kavacham daily. It will protect you and help you thrive.

I consulted many years ago with Mr. KN Roa when, he was in Washington state while touring the United States. It was an unforgettable experience. Being in his presence felt like I was being blessed accepted and acknowledged for who I am. Something that I am only now coming to acknowledge and to self-accept.

A great feeling to be able to listen to Sri K N Rao Saheb and actually get to see him. We used to affectionately call him Mamaji. He was very kind to me . Maybe because he could see the trials and tribulations that were in store for me. Will never forget times spent with him at Saraswati Kunj. And earlier at his official residences nearnear CP. I wish someone with stronger astrology knowledge could have interviewed him. We want to hear so much more meaningful insights from Sir. Since mam's questiona were so basic and scripted , spontaneity was missing in her follow up questions.
She did the interview EXACTLY how she wanted to do it. Remember she even said it would be in English to reach a global audience. Looks like she wanted the man to give whatever he wanted to give and not pester him. It was a simple, clear and beautiful interview that disclosed important information

We are immoral Souls children of One Almighty OmniPresent Now and Here Father our only true purpose here on Earth is to love God-Father and serve Him with our talents be it a politician or a simple humble householder, wife and mother.
