Nadal mad at being outwaited? But he is not! It is fair, look: Nadal takes a few extra seconds before each of his 50-70 games during the match. Nishikori does it only once - but takes a whole of 11 minutes:)
Never seen Rafa as angry as in this match. I normally like Nishikori, but the 11 minute toilet break after Rafa's comeback in the 2nd set, shut down the momentum shift Rafa worked / fought for. Nadal complaining about this is ridiculous. Sums up why I never liked him.
Me neither.
same here. i always saw nadal as a faker and a whiner
same
@@cantwealljustgetalong2bro he’s literally the most respectful guy ever played tennis (talking about the best players not a random Asian guy top 200)
The Nadal haters club 😂😂
This is why they need to let the players take a piss on the court instead
Let’s be honest, other than 2 poor service games, Nishikori dominated this match easily. 5-2 up in every set they played.
Cheated and would've Def lost in 5
In general Kei Nishikori is never know to use such antics as tactics. Ever. So there must he a valid reason. And from the comments here we found out why.
But its understandable that it us something that would make the other player angry. But if they know the legitimate reason, then they have to realize they can't be mad at the player himself.
Rafa stands out in the good things, but of course he also has some of the bad ones, it's normal, is the media and the fans who highlight what they want about each player and that's why some look super good like Roger and super bad like Novak, the problem is those who allow themselves to be "manipulated" to belittle players they don't like
Fedal stood out only when they were winning. But once they started loosing they were bad as others and probably worse than Joker.
Nadal is an arrogant gamesmanship cheater
He’s a legendary champion
@@duncan3932 He is a cheater too.
@@ArranVidnah you jealous
Nadal mad at being outwaited? But he is not! It is fair, look:
Nadal takes a few extra seconds before each of his 50-70 games during the match.
I don't care if it was on purpose or not, I understand his frustration with the situation.
Especially as he was probably pretty tired, having won doubles' gold with Marc Lopez before and losing to Delpo in the semis in an epic 3setter.
But what's done is done. Congrats to Nishikori for having been able to earn a bronze medal for Japan during Rio 2016.
Yeah, it's not like Nadal is a control freak who IMPOSE his own pace to the server (Kyrgios, as clownish as he is, rightly pointed that out against him in Wimbledon couple of years ago) basically forces his opponent to be the first one to cross the net at side changes, ABUSED time violations (before the clock was introduced, he sometimes took over 50 seconds to engage a point),...
He has no right to complain about anything with that kind of unsportsmanlike behaviors, like, NONE.
Besides, it wasn't Nishikori's fault anyway.
What do you want? 1 point, 1 game because Nishikori was late? He was led to the wrong place and had to poo. Shut up and play! And lose! If it was Djokovic the crowd would have asked for a crucifixion. What a sore loser. I thought it was Federer the sore loser. And I like Nadal, but in this case...
Almost 12
Lmao , Nadal Did the same thing many times, he IS a grow ass Man , he has to get over It and play , but no he was complain every single time, booking a baby
Nothing new from nadal. Such behavior from him has happened many times before
Nadal does this twice a slam , but someone does it on accident and youre gonna whine the whole match? This is why nadal is not on novaks level
Arrodillaros ante el mejor jugador de la historia del tenis y no juzguen por un partido a Nadal. Él podría daros lecciones de comportamiento una detrás de otra.
For those of you who don't know that ALL players have their section of bathrooms that the public don't have access to; ONLY players.
I find it hard to believe that he would go to the wrong bathroom.
It's ok to support your fav players but you could be or at least try to be a little objective.
You only know what you see in players not their hearts.
With years, all that drug scandals, unsportsmanlike stuff from Fed and Nad, I finally realized who is the true tennis king.
Djokovic 🔥🔥🔥
The one and only.
The rest will go as just good tennis players.
However, i really think Alcaraz outshadow Nadal with ease and got good chances to surpass Novak in Slams.
"Unsportsmanlike stuff from Federer". What do you mean? Roger was always respectful, even when talking about Djokovic achievements, he sounds more sincere and has provided better compliment than Nadal who called Novak as "a record chaser".
Never heard so much crap... Novak a nasty and horrible pathetic person 💯
😅
Drug scandal? 😅😅😅😅 I think you doing drug right now lmao 😂😂😂😂😂
And don't Put Roger Federer in this crap Man If you are djocovid fan ,its ok, but don't drag Federer in this , Federer IS another level of sportmanship , a kind and class Man
It´s not fault of Nishikori... there´s no rule for time break in the bathroom.... as far as there`s no rule opponents can cry and cry....
Nishikori is another level scrapper with an extra point for something bigger than the norm...and Rafa just looked a bit beat arriving into this match.
Federer the most classy, once again he proved it.
I think Sinner is the most classy. Fed never gave a compliment when the opponent scored a great point.
hes the most annoyng palyer full of lousy tricks mostly when his losing he gest injured and then after 10 min messing the other player momentum comes running like nothing happened and many other tricks compalins moans and other things
thank for the video and to share the storie
Nishikori's resurrection is the real creator of this video
I can't believe Nishikori somehow came back from the dead lol. How did this happen
And he's hitting like twice as hard as he used to
Nadal is right, but is not Kei's fault if the bathroom was too far and took him more than 5min just on walking to the bathroom and back to the court. This is a problem created by who decided to not have toilets for players close to the court.
Nadal IS right to complain one time , but he didn't vive up, he IS a grow ass Man , get over It
big player small person this nadal dude
Indeed
Haha complaining coming from Rafa the guy literally plays mind games his entire career from extended time lengthening in between serves to when returning serves he takes his time even when the ruling is based on following the server’s time from fake injury Medical time outs to all his excuses in the press conferences…. And not to mention he is hardly gracious in his defeat when shaking hands with opponents at the net(only later on in his career abit better)
So he doesn’t have a right to complain about anything ever then? Even when he’s clearly in the right here. If was in the wrong fine but he’s right so… zip it. I’m guessing you think Novak is an angel who’s never done anything wrong in his whole career
@@duncan3932he was in a wrong here, nobody mentioned Djokovic lol
@@johnhernandez. Djokovic is on his mind, he's just coping with Novak being the GOAT now. Edit: just saw his comment about Nadal being rent-free in someone's head... guess he's just projecting Novak Goatovic is rent-free in his. *inserts Novak pointing to his ears image and then playing the violin*
@@jonw7757 i can cope with Novak being the Goat just fine thanks, i’ve said it since 2023 i just think it’s gross how suddenly people are beating Rafa now he’s down, and lets be honest, no one apart from Novak fans dislikes Rafa, who has been a shining example pretty much his whole career, save a few instances. But no player is perfect
LOL you guys are ridiculous probably not good tennis players at all I rest my case. I didn’t even mention novak in my comment. You guys are just super defensive…..
Well played by Nishikori.
Imagine that. Your opponent give you free set and you blame him for taking his time to refocus (no time regulations at Olympics) in bronze medal match
Has Nadal never needed a great big pump.
What's a nump?
This is why Nadal never broke rackets. He acts really funny when he is angry. He doesn't know what to say in English.
I remember when he first appeared he wasnt able to speak english for the next 3-4 years or so..still he was receiving great media support
He lost his mind but still never broke a racket un his career
At least he has this record to his name
Nadal is a phenomenonal player but he often spends a ridiculous amount of time between points. Perhaps it came back to bite 😂
Besides, if you enjoyed this video, you'll probably enjoy this one too: th-cam.com/video/iDBUBr1CfhI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=xrXsPNnPtu86VKDy
Who won the match eventually?
And 30+secs between serving haha.
Nadal isn't normally so annoyed so perhaps something else going on?
Nadal has been shown favoritism his entire career for taking too long between points so I don't feel too bad here although 11 minutes is insane for a bathroom break.
Didn't they eventually change the bathroom break rule so that there is a time limit?
Nadal was the reason to implement the serve countdown in the courts, whilst Tsitsipas was the reason they put an specific limit for toilet break.
@@GeorgeCen Really? I thought the serve countdown was because of Djokovic. I remember there was a time he would bounce the ball 15 times before serving.
@@boudusaved4719 well, both. Go and check Roland Garros 2005-2008 how much Nadal takes to serve, especially the match against Paul-Henri Mathieu was extreme.
@@boudusaved4719 wth my reply was removed? I said that both cases, but look Nadal Roland Garros 05-08 how much he took especially against Mathieu.
@@boudusaved4719 Both Rafa and Novak were the reason they introduced that rule. Rafa was ridiculously slow at everything both while serving as well as receiving serves. Novak was slow when he was serving with his 15 or more times ball bouncing.
fedals claim that nadal never had bad behaviour
I'm Federer fan , i like Nadal , but this match, what a bad behavior , such a big ego here
I think it was a bigger reason, ie. Angry because he missed his opportunity to win at least a Silver medal but didn't do well enough in the big moments in the semifinal. It was all just coming out and he felt he needed to blame his disappointment on something. Let's not forget that he was pissed off already when losing badly at 2-6 2-5 down.
what was happening here at 8:58?
Kei❤❤❤ 🇯🇵
Amigo del Rey, madridista, un poco nacionalista español, y gran jugador en su declive, por algún lado tenía de explotar la cosa.
نادال اللاعب المتعجرف
Nadal takes 11 minutes for every serve but he was annoyed by a bathroom break.
I agree that 11 min is too long. But it’s rich coming from Nadal. He stops servers all the time and takes more than the time limit. He was just having a bad day.
This is part of why I respect Federer so much. He gets the tennis done quickly, hardly ever is there any drama or mind games, and he never took a single mid-match timeout until he was pushing 35.
So when there’s an injustice he should just be spineless and quiet should he? And Novak can say whatever he wants but when Nadal does it he’s a villain? Some hypocrisy right here. If no one complained then 11 minute toilet breaks would become acceptable
Almost 12
Everyone loses their cool. Roger Federer's match against Del Potro at the US Open Finals was no different, when Roger was uncharacteristically angry throughout the match.
Thank you - ALL tennis players, even the exalted Federer, have lost their sh*t at some point. It's just the nature of sport.
This court plays fast, doesnt suit Nadals game
learning : put portable toilet near the bench next time
Anyway ,Bernardes had problem with most of the player ,The worst in the ATP
0:51 Cool moon shot
Nadal really doesn't like carlos bernardes, not surprised at all he's the chair in a match that Nadal was angry in
He had a lot more hair there.
THE REAL SIDE OF RAFA NADAL
A real tennis fan knows if there is a player knows for taking breaks while things don't go his way is Nadal. And Nishikori didn't do it in purpose, actually he was taken to the furthest toilet by mistake.
Novak will never do this
Yeah he’ll just assault a line judge or smash 6 rackets
No...
He will do worse by throwing his racket at a lineswomen, arguing continually with the ref, arrogant behind belief, should use Linx because his attitude absolutely stinks...
Etc Etc Etc...
Regardless, I like both player. The toilet break really got to Nadal though. Good play by Nishikori nonetheless, congrats!
Can’t intimidate that down the line backhand from Kei.
That's why even how many slams he will win, he will never be loved like Roger and Novak. They are classy and he is such a terrible sportmanship😅
I love Nadal but 😅😅
Es el partido donde Nadal está más quejoso de su carrera 😂pero con razón,kei intenta cortarle el ritmo cuando va al baño,y además bernardez siempre se mantiene pasivo
Nishikori could have gone to the locker room so there's no excuse to take that much time for going to the toilet
Nadal is a fantastic player, arguably the greatest of all time and imo, the most difficult player to beat in game when inform (Except grass and indoor), HOWEVER, he is the fakest 'sportsman' this sport has ever seen imo.
The dude used multiple time the toilet break (just like Djokovic, they invented that trick basically, lots of players use them now) to destroy his opponent's momentum during his career, ABUSED time violations without any repercussion before the clock was introduced (and before anyone says something, the 25 seconds rule already existed at the time), imposed his own pace to the server, complained countless times about perfectly fine umpiring decisions, crowds being against him (when the dude literally had, EVEN OUTSIDE OF SPAIN, Davis Cup atmospheres for him that influenced in a negative way the psychology of his opponent),...
That is one of the greatest uno-reverse cards i've seen in the sport frankly, btw, it was NOT Nishikori's fault, he was badly directed towards a toilet situated at the opposite of where he was supposed to go.
It is quite evident that he won that second set only because of Nishikori having some problems
Nadal is a repulsive hypocrite
Leave your shit on the court.
Nadal is just a whiner and thinks he can complain about another player's grunting at Wimbledon 2022. Also, doing it after getting broken? He tried to disrupt Sonego. Nadal is a nasty person.
He’s a nasty person really, you’re picking 2 examples and ignoring every time he’s being nice. You could say any tennis player is a nasty person by this logic
