    Thank you for the tip about hooking air up and blowing the fuel lines. After we did this she started up. Apparently after running out of fuel it clogged the line 🎉🙏🥰

      I have a problem with my 2000 7.3 it runs and will shut off and start back up and than it will shut off after so many turns and I will have to let it sit for like 20 minutes and it will start back up and drive , what you thinking?

    Cam position sensor may give warning...or not! Ya, check fuel filter (drain reservoir first for water). If filter appears clean, upon inspection...probably lift pump OR SCREEN AT FILTER HOUSING

      my filter looks black and dirty and reservoir looks clean, ?

    Just pull the bowl out, bypass the old fuel pump, then add a new electric fuel pump down by the fuel selector, & you should be good.

    Very smart red neck, thanks for the video my friend, I’m walking out the house right now and try that on my truck

    There is a spring under the filter that doesn’t let fuel come without a filter in

    Did you just spray EITHER into a GLOWPLUG ENGINE?????

    How did you relocate the fuel pressure valve? They are impossible to test on in stock position.

    Why not just cut a hole in the bed to get at the fuel sender so you can get a look inside the tank?

    Was the ticking when you cranked it after you hooked up your lines bc there’s air in the injectors?

    • @the_fonz_hd2702
      @the_fonz_hd2702 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, diesel injectors click louder with less fuel because it's pushing air through instead of fuel

    When you crank it does that attempt to fire the injectors or just crank the starter??

    • @paulheuser9343
      @paulheuser9343  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had the key off so that it would not fire the injectors. If you jump the solenoid with the key on, it will start. Assuming it has fuel lol

  • @paullacava4111
    @paullacava4111 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Replace your glow plug relay I bet you it start right up!!!
    Thay burn out in about a year but still kinda work above 60 degrees there's too much of a load on the glow plug relay with 8 glow plugs on one relay you will notice on the later models there's 2 glow plug relays I put a dule relay on mine it can be zero outside an my obs 7.3 will fire with not plugging in the engine heater!!!
    If you like to test it out on a cold start jump out the two big lugs on your glow plug relay with a screwdriver 🪛 for 15-20 seconds an than fire it up it will fire 🔥

    Don't forget about the fuel pump that's under the turbo that pulls fuel from the tanks
