Awesome video. It took me 48 hours to fully setup my laptop with Dual Boot Mac OS Catalina and Windows 10. It was a pain in the butt due to multiple clover EFI files/config.plist but finally managed to do it. Just took me a day to finally boot from verbose to installer only.

Followed this guide and successfully installed Mountain Lion on Dell OptiPlex 990! AMD Radeon R7700 HD, 8GB Ram, 1GB VRAM (Installing RN. Will update when done.) Update: graphics card limited boots to safe mode. Removed and works fine. No onboard graphics for Intel HD Graphics 2000 though. It works flawlessly with some graphical effects in chrome and Firefox.
im planning on switching to a pc from a MacBook and going AMD based would it be a good idea to sell the Macbook so my question Is does the macOS run smooth enough and perfectly ? or would you suggest keeping the MacBook
Thanks!!! I actually followed the internet install on reddit and made a usb on mac using one of the utilities (forgot what its called, sorry) and then followed the rest of the guide. Worked perfectly!!!
In W10, go to search, type in Computer management and select it. In the left sidebar under "Storage" group you should have Disk management. Right click to CLOVER partition, and select Change drive letter and path -> Add. And then select some letter you want. After that, I was able to see the Clover efi partition.
Would have been helpful if you told people where to find a copy of Catalina. All the versions I have found are ISO not DMG which I'm not sure will work
Opencore is more stable and its only 700mb (its online installer) its safer since these iso’s/dmg/raws are modified where with opencore you install directly from Apple just like a Mac installing installer tool

Assuming I install ios correctly on my AMD-Win10 machine, would iMessage work with my iPhone even though it's a dualboot running on a non-apple build? How would that look with a wired connection on my PC and lte data being used for the connection on my iphone? I'm assuming it would work okay, but i'm not sure where in the network layer my phone recieves the text to be messaged. It's probably more work than it's worth if imessage needs a shared network wireless connection or something sticky like that.
Currently running catalina 10.15.4 . Tried to install windows using bootcamp. But halfway through the windows setup. my mac crashes and i got a flickering screen on my mac. And the windows disk is not available upon startup :(

Just have to change graphics card from bios setting to use onboard graphics. The Bluetooth and Wifi doesn't work. The onboard Intel Graphics works fine. This guide is somewhat of a deception. Every hackintosher with some fair knowledge knows that the Clover bootloader files and settings (efi, config.plist) is the most important early part to hackintosh_install via a bootloading usb. At 4: 30, guy just said '...your Mac image file...". It is not; it already has pre-installed Clover (with settings) plus the actual macOS installer. The Clover will not work for all PCs as set; it needs to be fine-tuned specific to PC hardware. I can tell you the "Catalina Mac image file" (if the guy downloaded it from the site I suspect) will fail if you try hackintoshing an ASUS A555L laptop.
i created the bootable usb with Catalina (via TransMac), did all the changes in BIOS .. tried to boot up with the usb .. but it only shows black screen with white bar flashing and nothing is happening .. :( why can't i go into installation process?

@@miodozer4678 You create a new partition for your disk then you split it inside of the mac os installer and then you are able to install it on the other partition and to keep windows, then you may use clover to make it recognize both Os's

Actually no. cause on a pe existing windows drive if u wanna install Mac you have to partition the drive and for that you have to change the partioning scheme.

Hey this is great- however I’m wondering if it is normal for the first install from clover boot loader of macOS to be constantly automatically rebooting after every page? ( also I have had to manually reboot a couple of times as it would stop and not go forward) It usually freezes or stops at HID: Legacy shim 2 then I reboot and it goes to next page and continues and then auto reboots after every page for a while again. It’s not the same page rebooting but doesn’t seem normal

Torrent it, niresh Catalina is on the Pirate Bay. Also, windows 10 actually has a tool for creating a windows 10 bootable usb directly from Microsoft. With this, you can avoid using Rufus as mentioned in this video.

You have to use 'Niresh Catalina' image if you want to follow the exact steps, both partitions are included in the image. If you use official image you have create the partition manually and put clover files along with proper kexts and all. I hope this makes sense. Thanks!

For Dell laptops make sure to disable speedstep to proceed with the installation

I created a Bootable USB using TransMac However I can only see the drive on my PC not the CLOVER Partition that should have been created.
After I restored the USB to the dmg in TransMac it was nonexistent in file explorer, so I couldn't continue any further. Anyone else have this?

Do you need a Mac to run clover? I don't have one only a PC hence why I am trying to install MacOS so I can run .dmg files like clover. Help pls!!!!!!

I think we need a link to your image file, right??? After I use TransMac to burn my Catalina image, I don't get the partition CLOVER created! Why is that?

efi file not showing up after creating a usb boot disk for MacOS on windows in transmac. No way i can see a EFI folder, so what do i need to do if no EFI was created?
You have to use 'Niresh Catalina' image if you want to follow the exact steps, both partitions are included in the image. If you use official image you have create the partition manually and put clover files along with proper kexts and all. I hope this makes sense. Thanks!

from 5.22 You have skipped a part without instructions. You have created a clover partition somehow but we have just created a bootable catalina at that point but that clover flash drive comes after, within mac os?
In W10, go to search, type in Computer management and select it. In the left sidebar under "Storage" group you should have Disk management. Right click to CLOVER partition, and select Change drive letter and path -> Add. And then select some letter you want. After that, I was able to see the Clover efi partition.
