    Changed mine a couple years ago but it just recently started leaking so here we go again . Got the pump off and it seems fine . Noticed the seal had receded in to the groove on the engine ( most likely the leak ) and it's hard as a rock and its coming out in pieces the size of a grain of sand . Ever have this problem ? Any suggestions ? Only thing I can think of is a heat gun maybe . Didn't have this problem the first time .

    • @hyr0llr
      @hyr0llr  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      no i havent dealt with that ever. iand i suggest a brass pick to dig out all of the old seal and not scratch the sealing surface. A heat gun i would assume would help. Probably a defective batch of seals at the time.

      Over time the dissimilar metals or even coating like zinc plating or similar, can corrode or react and cause them to feel tighter.
      You break the corrosion when you loosen the bolt hence why it feels not as tight.

    • @hyr0llr
      @hyr0llr  ปีที่แล้ว

      I didnt measure after all. You can pick up hose by the foot at the parts store. See if they have any 5/16 or 3/8 hose and you can go from there. And just turn it until you get fluid out of the hose flowing
