    Real shame that Lego themselves never released an updated buggy motor, but I'm so glad that buwizz has one

    • @Wichelroede
      @Wichelroede 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      You mean a Powered Up version of it?
      I mean…, you could just use a Buggy-Motor with an extension cable for the “same” results as the BuWizz motor.
      …or is it the current value of the Buggy-Motor that bothers you?

      @@Wichelroede I was born in 2004, which makes most motors older than me, but the motors themselves look really cool and have great functions, my concern was that due to age, the motors would lose performance, I don't have any of the motors though

      @@gperm3710 I was born in 2001 and never had a chance at owning my own buggy motor too. The prices of those motors now is insane so I bought myself 2 buwizz motors and the buwizz 2.0 pack this Christmas and they are great. The motors themselves already outperform any of the PF motors in my collection without any additional gearing required. If you can afford it there is no reason to buy an orignal Lego Buggy motor when these better, cheaper (not including the Buwizz power unit) motors are available

      There's really no ideal ways to avoid that since a standard Lego axle piece is only that much strong. The best way to work around is to get those third party metal axles since they twists less but it would in return worn your gears. Really up to how you feel about replacing which parts later on though most of hobby grade RC cars uses the metal axle and plastic spur gear setup to let the gear worn over time and save the axle.
