3:33 I have that motor. It doesn't work anymore unfortunately, but I always thought it was awesome to have. In fact, it was one of the first Lego sets I had ever received. I had the Track Turbo RC, for any of you wondering.

But the 2-channel steering with an LED that can be connected to something with fiberoptics was another story. Too bad they placed the IR sensors in the front and in a way that would make it difficult to use without losing range a lot.

The monorai motor appears in not 2, but 3 sets (even though there's a tiny variation and maybe that was what caused the confusion). I have 2 of those 3.
I have the 6991: Monorail Transport Base in a box in the basment, i just got back into lego. Picked up the ecto 1, bugatti and a few other sets this last month. I might have to get the monorail out and old tech sets. I have almost all these motors just from childhood.
The rarest lego motor is actually the Red 12v train motor! Only appearing in 2 sets and has only been released in northern europe. This motor goes around for 300$!!! The black variant is way less rare, you can get around 60$ for it. Still it's overpriced
I just got a Lego bulk lot and was sorting through it and found the monorail motor not knowing what it was and now learning that it's so rare is pretty cool.
I used to make my own Lego motors when I was a kid from motors extracted from generic cheap toys, by soldering a 1x2 goldpin plug to them and gluing two flat pieces and a drilled out short cross shaft to them with epoxy. And I had a 9V Lego Technics motor with a battery box, and that battery box was also modified with goldpins to power the DIY motors. They turned pretty fast but the torque was low, as most real Lego motors have some kind of gearbox inside. Did that because flat pieces and shafts are cheap, so why not? Also online shopping was in its infancy back then and we didn't even have the Internet, and shops only had the lame sets without all the cool parts like the pneumatics or weird motors, and if one showed up, it was extremely expensive. Then I eventually got the Mindstorms set with the yellow RCX, and I didn't really use the homemade motors anymore, as it came with 2 normal motors and I didn't want to damage the RCX.
It could also have a pivot wheel that can turn to one specific side when moving backwards and stays straight when moving forwards. The very cheapest (non-Lego) RC cars work like that.
3:34 I actually have 2 of these at my grandparents in Australia that I got from some weird street store years back but I don't remember the sets looking like this so I think they were lego ripoff sets.
I have a motor that looks very similar to #4 but is a bit smaller and also no longer works. I think we got it in some kind of police boat set that also had lights and/or sounds?
For the last motor, did you forget the Futuron Monorail Transport System set? If not, then this motor might be the rarest as it would appear in only one set.
I think he got forgot yeah. Probably because Bricklink lists it sepparately from the others. Still, the monorail transport base's motor could not be rarer even though it appears in less sets because from the 3 monorails, it's the most common and "cheap". I personally have 2 of the 3 monorails.

The buggy motor I actually have it. I bought it back in ~2006 Technic in the motor expansion/buddle pack set 8287.
