Throughout the game the Crow has been presented to be awkward and frankly unprofessional at times, with his frequent jabs at your deaths and his side gig as a kitchen cook. I think it's all just a part of the Crow's personality. There was also that one awkward elevator moment during the first encounter with Bysurge lol.
I completed the main game and most of the heroic bosses quite quickly. Then for a couple of months I f***ed with some heroic bosses, who in my opinion (although I believe that this is an objective fact) are overly difficult compared to others, not in an interesting way, but because just like that, they are broken in a bad way. But I got through them over some time too... but I tried to get through this f***ng Crow for almost half a year. He himself is not particularly difficult when there are so many other bosses and even broken ones behind my back, but this boss has one super-stupid skill - one-shots that he can use for a long time endlessly. There is a special place in hell for the man who created such a skill for this boss. I was rebuilding my character with 100500 builds, both my own and from the Internet guides... After another boss rush farm, watching my character at one fine moment, I figured out how to kill the Crow: I rebuilded myself into a mage with a maximum of mana consumption and that's it, I flew over the boss, pelting him with a basic magic tome attack. Killed him on the first try XD
Okay I finally beated this guy , took almost 40 attempts , my build was great sword +11 I don't have a clear strategy for the green balone just have insanly high damage some way or another it's the hardest part about the fight As for the valkyries they are week to dark damage so a weapon like dark eater ( which is what I used ) you will be fine As for the crow try to parry him , you won't gain soul energy and he won't gain the oneshot , it's tough and a long fight for sure and you will need some luck Still not as bad as heroic thalamus
How do you block on 3:38? I passed all the game with blocking bosses with their heroic versions and only fu**ng crow just ignore that blocking and make that one-hit after soul draining. I HATE! the man who did that boss-skill.
Okay so I think I understand your problem : Crow when he's absorbed all the soul energy will start draining huge stamina amounts when you block him. But Death's Gambit's perfect blocking, like Sekiro's, prevents you from being guardbroken so long as you perfect block.
@@leoscar9816 I am doing perfect block. I make it without problems before soul drain(many times I passed his two first phases even without damage until his first full soul-draininig-bar), but recieve insta-kill everytime after that his skill.
just beat thalamus heroic in 50~ tries, do you recommend going NG+ for this or start a new save file? Im Acolyth of Death, which many people say it sucks (not for me lol) I also dont really want to grind the end game stuff again, Endless heroic took me 160+ tries...
I haven't really touched NG+ yet, since a boss will be added later, and I want a save file with everything done. I personnally made a new save file for ending B, wanted a very different build for a second playthrough.

In order to get endings A and B (both have mutually exclusive content) you need to kill five heroic bosses (a NPC should have talked to you before fighting Endless and hinted at this).

I think hes just caught up in utter disbelief that someone would be crazy enough to try and back stab death on his home turf.
the dialog of this game is kinda there just to sounds cool. Most of the time they just gribberish
It's to convey him realizing it's very possible he has met his match, he's injured and stunned I think.

Yes, he is far less tanky and has clearer paterns, making him very easy to parry/perfect block.

Not sure what you're refering to, are you perfect blocking or just holding the shield ?

Acolyte of death is actually pretty strong it just has higher skill micro managing than the other classes.
