Nice haul. I didn't get around to cleaning that spot even once this year. Fished it a bit though, I think that black jig with the eye was mine, lost one there around that time :) What's funny about that is that I found it in the river and then you found it in the river again!
Love your videos dude. My dad was a diver and used to take me out in the water all the time. It's something I miss so much and I hope to dip my toes into free diving soon. The feeling of exploring under water takes me right back to being a kid. Watching your videos has a similar effect! And love that you're showcasing the beautiful and unique environments of our province. 🤙
I admire your dedication to water cleanups, and the constant risk of getting “hooked”, gashed, or sliced. 👍👍 I pick up all wheel weights and metal bits I find while cycling around, and I’m betting your lead collection is more interesting, and, I’ve only found one iPhone so far.😂
Hi. Good video as it gives a huge perspective of what's going on in the river. I assume you only saw the "dead of the dawn fish? I used to fish that run all the time in the late 80's and early 90's when there were the two yellow and black "Fort Apache The Beaks" signs on the far shore. A reference to the movie "Fort Apache The Bronx" movie. One was just above your head at the 00:15 mark. Thanks for the video. Would like to see more when the steelhead arrive. Ken
Hey, I seen a few salmon on this dive but the footage wasn't great so I left it out. On today's dive I see a whole bunch of salmon a little further up river. That video will be up later this week.
My little family loves watching your videos especially my kids ages 7 and 5. They are much more proactive with picking up garbages along the river because of you. Also, they have started fishing as well in August so in this episodes they were so excited about the fishing gears and wondering what do you do when them? If they are for disposal, they are wondering if...., they can have them instead? 🙈
That's awesome to hear! And for most of the stuff it gets thrown away because it's just trash. But for the good ones I am saving them up, I plan to have a diving treasure sale for charity sometime in January
Wow thank you so very much for cleaning up our river! That’s sad to see all those illegal barbed & trouble hooks, & that cut open fish just for the eggs :( absolutely absurd. I really hope I can catch & call some people out next szn. Or call the fishery officers.
I hate when I forget my fins and/or water shoes! 😂 Bro…you gotta carry a dive knife with you when cleaning up lures, especially free diving! Nice haul bud. 👍
What's even worse about that fish 10:40 is it looks like a wild coho (white gums, adipose fin, the size). Disappointing to see that many trebles and barbs. Thanks for cleaning up the river! That wetsuit probably pays for itself with never having to buy fishing lures, hooks, or weights.
@@AquaticMonkey I saw someone diving in Lynn Creek at 30' Pool in a red Beuchat and I thought for a minute it was you. Also doing a bit of a clean up but it was more cell phones and other stuff cliff divers might have dropped.

For sure I always have a dive knife on my belt. I won't go into this river without a knife there is waayyy to much fishing line in it

Ya for sure that fish is at least 3x illegal. And I do find a ton of lures but thankfully my wetsuits are sponsored by Beuchat!
