We've always used the rough weight on buck steely's as, 25"= 5lbs. then a lb. an inch after that, now you said that fish was 36.75 which 37" would be 17lbs. a hen's going to weigh a little more! My first steely was a 38" hen and gutted weighed 17 1/2 lbs. a few hrs. later on a certified scale at Larry's Sporting Goods in Gresham (back in the 80's) for a big fish contest, the guy was shocked I had gutted it because he said it was probably a 20 lber! I won't say you had a 20 but Damned Close! And 🖕 to those who say it was 12-14. Nice job kid!! Great Vid!

I use whatever is on sale and most the time it’s cooked shrimp. I personally never cure the shrimp. I have a few videos on my channel going over it. I just throw them In the microwave for 20sec to firm them up. I appreciate you watching 🤘🏽🤘🏽 I post weekly as well

Give the centerpin a try I like fishing it. Personally I don’t think you can get a better drift then with a centerpin when float fishing. Yes, you can use a baitcast reel but it’s more fun to me to fight the fish on the centerpin. It’s all on you for the drag makes it hard tho when your hands get cold. Thanks for watching!
anyone with half a brain should have seen that the big fish was literally 3 + of your foot. the people trying to spout out some formula by inch increments into pounds is pretty equally funny. was an epic fish. spend the 8 bucks on a scale with a built in tape measure. no debate then.

Clickbait asf. Don't claim you caught a 20lb steelhead unless you caught a 20lb steelhead. That was maybe 14lbs. I still haven't caught a 20lb steel in my 12 years of steelhead fishing, have caught multiple 18s tho. Unless you measure it and it's 40"x20" or weigh it on an actual scale (which you can't do with wild fish) just say you caught your PB steel man.

Pretty fish... but about 12 or 13 lbs. A 20 pounder would be about 40 inches long and 20 lb hens are pretty rare.
