Great video. Monique is one of my knitting heroes; I agree that her talent for reading patterns on historic lace is extraordinary. Thank you!

This was very informative. I’ve never used a lifeline. I use ChiaoGoo red lace interchangeable needles, so I should be able to do it! I’ll have to find a good demo video, or, if you feel like it, perhaps you can do a short video demo😉

A demo would be most helpful. I've Chiagoo needles too but have yet to figure out how to use it to put in a lifeline.

Very helpful thanks. I will definitely be rewatching this before casting on. Just got shipping notification for my yarn. Now I have to learn the pronunciation of minogame all over again😂😂I was pronouncing it wrong, started using your pronunciation Irina, and now need to remember Monique’s
    pronunciation.

I should’ve done my homework with that pronunciation lol

BTW, I just spent the entire morning on my iPad, sourcing out a suitable lace weight yarn for this project. I always try to patronize my LYSs, but I guess it’s not practical for them to stock a “niche” yarn…they do have plenty of fluffy mohair lace, which is super popular for garments etc. I’m in Canada and finally settled on a lovely Holst lace yarn, 80% alpaca, 20% wool if I remember correctly…my head is going in circles from all the tabs I opened! Looking forward to the KAL.
