I’ve watched TH-cam for over a decade and you are the one person that has completely changed my hair game (and my 2 daughters as well). Due to watching your channel, I started using the K18 bond repair on my silver hair. I found since I went silver, my hair ( which is longer), was more fragile. This has been a game-changer for my hair. It looks healthy and it feels strong. Totally worth the money.

I’ve bought SO MANY products that you’ve recommended. Amika the Kure, the bumble and bumble spray primer thing, tarte tinted moisturizer, vanicream mousturizer, ogx hair oil, olaplex mask, the kure mask, viktor and rolf flower bomb, hempz lotions, kopari body butter, kopari oil, ordinary copper peptides, ouai detox shampoo, apostrophe tret, cerave healing ointment, tower 28 lip gloss, GIRL. I have been following you for a little over a year now and i can say that your recommendations have completely changed my hair for the better! Youd be so proud of my bathroom shelves. I basically don’t buy any hair products without your approval with the exception of one shampoo you’ve been SLEEPING ON: Neutrogena t/sal scalp build up control with 3% salicylic acid (not the tar one) that i use for clarifying before i go back in with a bond builder shampoo. Also tret and copper peptides have saved my skin from awful adult acne. Thank you!!
Just wanted to say I am on my second bottle now of the ordinary copper peptides! I actually purchased the peach and lilly copper peptides just to see what else was out there and if i would like a different formula more or less. I returned it the next day because it just did not stand close to the brightness I see in my skin with the ordinary serum. Such a game changer for my sensitive / reactive skin!
that neutrogena sunscreen is my absolute favorite!! especially as an outdoor runner!
I would really like to see a current ideal haircare rutine. Like what you would choose if you werent a youtuber and had to start over but with all the knowledge you have of all the products you’ve tried this far. Like a holy grail rutine without any budget limit. I think this would be soooo helpful to many of us that dont mind spending the money, but dont have room for a billion products in our bathrooms 😊

My bathroom is FULL of products I bought based on your recommendation, and I genuinely love them all! I definitely trust your opinions and love your channel.
I’ve been using Olaplex products for almost a year now and they have completely destroyed my hair and I’m in a group with a few thousand women who are going through the same. Lots of hair loss/shedding/and breakage. We are being advised to use products that are protein free and to stay away from “bonding” or “strengthening” products. I was wondering if you could do a video with products for those who have a lot of protein built up? You have been so wonderful, and I love all of your advice.💕
Another nice light moisturizer is the peach slices snail rescue all in one deep moisture cream. I like it a lot

Omg yes! The vanicream moisturizer has become my number since you mentioned it, NYX serum concealer is my fav, Neutrogena serum spf is beautiful, L’Oréal tinted foundation serum is gorgeous….just need to try that sop de janero spray and ordinary copper peptides next lol
the biggest game changing product you have introduced me to is purology color fanatic leave in. I would have never looked into the brand as it's so "old" looking in terms of packaging etc but this is such a game changing leave in and we don't even have the same hair type. mine is very very dry, coarse and curly and it's still amazing on my hair as well!
My favorite products of 2022 were Shiseido’s Sun Dual Care SPF, R+Co Bleu’s F-Layer Serum and Rose Water wave spray as well as Oribe’s Hair Alchemy serum. Such a good year for new beauty launches!!!!
I bought and returned the Byoma three times and have had no luck with the spray! It hits me in the face like a hose everytime! I ended up returning and not replacing it after that and I was so sad as I was (and still am) looking for an affordable mist with a reliable spray! Other than that I have bought so many of these items and love them…..The Ordinary Copper Peptides…..WOW….what a game changer…..Thank you for the recommendations!

ACV…yup…love❤️….I have to wash my scalp every day…but a couple times a week I apply to my scalp several minutes before shower, scrub scalp, work through ends, and condition….love it! The Ordinary Buffet + Copper Peptides is great, tried on your recommendation to replace Timeless Vit C serum…but on the Budget Dermatologist’s recommendation, I’ve added a Vit C moisturizer over top…great combo! Also use Vanicream so much…what a wonderful find…never hear of before watching you channel…thanks for all you do‼️‼️‼️❤️❣️

Love your product recommendations and that you mention what types of hair/skin go best with each. I use the Pureology Strength Cure and the Pureology leave in spray. The spray is the first leave in styling product that doesn't weigh down my super fine hair.

I love OGX argan weightless oil after flat iron, I discovered it from Nazanin Kavari year ago and it's been a holy grail since then as a "shine mist" and I feel like it helps so much keeping your hair sleek after styling it, but I would say the DMDM hydantoin is so unnecessary, luckily it's not inside their hair oils but I live in Europe and we don't have that ingredient anymore, there are better and safer preservatives out there, there's no need to use a risky ingredient in 2022, I mean there's a reason why it is banned in Europe... I'm against pseudo-science like you but I hope this will be a wakeup call for OGX, their hair oils are amazing and I hope they'll just substitute that ingredient.
K18's first ingredient ia Alcohol!! The problem is with continued use the alcohol ends up drying out your hair and causing breakage.

I looove K18 it’s honestly a game changer for me. My girls and I have all diff hair types and textures but it works for all of us. FYI my youngest has tight spiral and high porosity curls and my oldest has wavy thick low porosity hair. Meanwhile I have straight hair 😂
I use the Vanicream Moisture Cream as an occlusive (slugging). Has that comforting weight without the tacky feeling. I will have to try the daily moisturizer.

Also for a tinted mineral sunscreen i think you would love and appreciate Alastin Skin hydratint mineral sunscreen. I somehow use it all year long (even tho I'm so pale in winter) but it just looks good no matter what! I also think you'd love the ingredients!

I thought I once heard you say that our hair did not like to be wet. Then I thought I heard you say that you leave your hair in dry towel for 2 hours after washing. Then I thought I heard you say that if you have hair that can wait to be combed/brushed until after it is dry we should do that. I am confused. I have mid-length fine bleached hair that does NOT tangle such that I need to comb it while still wet. Should I wash, add product, let my hair dry, brush and then style? Or is it better to wash, add product, comb, and blow dry? Really appreciate all of your tips and product recommendations, first time, since chemo 10 years ago, that my hair is past my collar bones. Thanks for any advice you can provide.
Dr Dray (board certified dermatologist) has vids on hair care. Combing out your hair gently while it's still damp is recommended. Wishing you wellness 🤗
PS use a very wide tooth comb or "wet brush" helps greatly.
K18 leaves so much residue in my hair and I only use a small amount. Olaplex number 3 and number 8 are the only bond building treatments that leave my hair feeling clean, full of body and my oily scalp doesn’t seem to get near as oily as quick when I use this in comparison to K18. I can go longer between washes without my ends feeling dry with the olaplex system too

I've been using both shampoo n conditioner for the past month. They leave my hair so soft and shiny.
Also, a little goes a long way, so using 1/2 amount works really well.

I can only speak for shampoo: After seeing all of Abbeys Videos on this topic, I would say it depends on your hairtype. Both work great on damaged hair, Amika has even more oils and impressive ingredients to help with hair damage. However, Pureology leaves your hair cleaner which is the reason I love it more, I have an oily scalp but dry damaged ends, it works great and my hair is clean but soft, even on the days I skip conditioner.

2/20 are now staples in my routines: vanicream ❤❤❤ perfect daytime moisturizer all year long. Ogx oil - affordable and everything i need for using before shampoo. I use other products you've recommended that didn't make it to the top 20 too. Thanks for all the great recommendations Abby!!
