I forgot to pick up one of these soap dispensers while I was in Japan a couple of years ago and I've always regretted it. They have them on Amazon in the US, but I'm having a really hard time justifying the $18 - 45 price tag (single vs multiple/backup) when I know they should be a third of that price. However, that is something that would totally bring a smile to my day. Have you guys seen the mickey ones too? I can't find the mickey ones online here unfortunately.

They have Daiso in California and they have a bunch of cat-themed kitchen items, either black or white. I bought 2 sets of cat paw tongs, one in each color. And a couple of spice racks with little cat ear designs on the ends, also cat bookends.
Due to Rona being a perpetual nightmare I cope with my Japan trip being in purgatory through channels like yours. So please feel free to do a video on furniture shopping or whatever seems fun. Regarding stained cups: use oxygen powder. No hard scrubbing needed. Pour a little bit into the cup, add hot water, let it sit for a while and do its work, then rinse thouroughly with clear water. I used it for my clear plastic cups as you can't scrub them to not damage them.

The commercials were like the ones for Flex Seal. But yes, OxyClean is a brand name oxygen powder.
Sendai was one of the places I would've considered living in if I was to live in Japan. I find that it has a good balance of city and rural life. Looking forward to more of your contents in Sendai :)
@@M4nusky it's the zunda shakes, my god it's gotta be the zunda shakes. 4 days of Sendai in which i had 6 zunda shakes. I got addicted real quick to that green goodness. Also fhe fact that sendai is a great base to visit surrounding areas from like matsushima bay and yamadera.

Maro with the bungee cord toy reminds me of our old cat's favorite toy. We'd hang the thing from a hook in the ceiling, and he caught the toy like, "Wow, that was easy." The look of shock when it sprung back out of his mouth was my favorite part of having a cat.

It's great that you are enjoying Sendai. What little I've seen of Sendai, I enjoyed very much. It's amazing how well the Japanese moving companies take care of their customers. I like how the Japanese create so many convenient items to make a persons life a little bit easier.
Buy the plushie if you want it. As we've seen, life can go south in a real hurry. And yes, it's always good to see shops in other countries, especially if we're not likely to get there again.

As a former chef, I can recommend buying a whetstone to sharpen your knives. It's relaxing, meditating and your knives get super sharp. The Gengar is worth every yen! SO AWESOME Great video as always

I love all the cute stuff! The price of the plushy sometimes doesn’t matter if you want it so much you would regret it. A housewarming gift to yourself lol. I own handbags that were more than that (gifts I might add, but still). You look so glowing, relaxed and happy.

Hey Sharla! If you wants a better knife sharpener or honing blade, an AccuSharp Fillet Knife Sharpener is the biggest bang for you buck. You can replace the blades it in and it is easy to use...if you can get over that it's ugly as sin! That gengar.....just oof....😅

It's great that you are enjoying Sendai. What little I've seen of Sendai, I enjoyed very much. It's amazing how well the Japanese moving companies take care of their customers. I like how the Japanese create so many convenient items to make a persons life a little bit easier.
Buy the plushie if you want it. As we've seen, life can go south in a real hurry. And yes, it's always good to see shops in other countries, especially if we're not likely to get there again.
Sharla, I know you travelled a lot, but now you have Maru in your apartment , if you travel do you leave maru on your apartment with all his need prepared, or there is cat Hotel in Japan so we can ask service to take care of them for you?

As a former chef, I can recommend buying a whetstone to sharpen your knives. It's relaxing, meditating and your knives get super sharp.

The Gengar bed/ pillow has been on my wishlist for quite some time (along with many more cute cat items on AliExpress) and I also wanted to buy the foam cleansers on YesStyle :p. Ahhh I miss all of the kawaii culture in Japan. Currently did a move and wish I could have access to things from Daiso and Donki to outfit our place like you did (storage, organizing etc)! Can't wait until we can actually visit again. I am legitimately going to bring a suitcase that is empty so we can fill it to take home

I really enjoyed visiting Sendai! There was so much I couldn’t see due to the small time frame I had. I would definitely enjoy seeing the furniture store and can’t wait to see a full home tour once you’ve set everything up :)

Hey Sharla! If you wants a better knife sharpener or honing blade, an AccuSharp Fillet Knife Sharpener is the biggest bang for you buck. You can replace the blades it in and it is easy to use...if you can get over that it's ugly as sin!
