Received a little shower yesterday and another today. If it was like the one I got at the house it was just under a 1/2 of rain. I'll take what I can get that's for sure. Thanks Robert!!!
👍👍Thanks for the update Cervus. Yeah you definitely need rain. We’ve been fortunate from June 26 thru June 30 we’ve had 2.4” but then people not that far away didn’t hardly get any. That’s just kinda the way it is this time of year you can get a lot or none and people not that far from you can get just the opposite.
You're right Lance. The field has received a1/4 of and inch for the month on June. Just one good slow soaking rain will breath new life into a lot of the field.
Thanks! Have you ever had sunflowers that only grew small like this? I'm thinking it is from lack of rain, but to be honest I just don't know. It is the first time I've ever tried to grow them.
So sorry, Cervus. After 2 years of severe drought in Minnesoata, now we are flooding this year. Had more last night. Hopefully it evens out for all of us.
All I have received on the field in June is an 8th of an inch on the 2nd and another 8th of an inch around the 23rd so in all about a 1/4 of an inch in June. I agree, I don't want a gully washer but a nice slow rain of a 1/2 inch would do wonders.
LOL Dry is an understatement. It is baked. The last rain was on June 2nd and it was only an 1/8th of an inch. I planted the brown top on the 9th (3 weeks ago) and no rain on it. I'm still praying for rain.
I wish We could export some of the rain were having here for You , It would be nice fair trade , a days half decent sunshine for a a days rain or a lovely day for a weeks rai, if only things were that simple . It's the middle of summer here and all We seem to get is a couple of days of decent weather followed by 5 or 6 days of persistent rain, it's 08:00 and currently 50F the sky is grey and cloud laden and it hasn't stopped since I got up at 04:00 . So I'm pretty sure We could do a fair trade , if Only the weather would cooperate . I hope You get just the right amount of rain soon . Catch You next time , Stay Safe.
Hi Ashton, I went out there today thinking I'd see maybe a 1/4 of an inch in the rain gauge but there was only about a 1/16 in the very bottom of the gauge. I was watching the radar and all the rain seemed to hit all around. However, when I left today at 4 forty five there was a good rain coming in. On radar it showed that I got a good rain at 5 O'clock that lasted until 6 O'clock. So hopefully I got some rain in the gauge this time. I'll post an update video that I took today. 90% of the sunflowers are in full bloom.
Hope you got some of that rain recently. I'm afraid that millet may be a loss. Let's keep the faith. Take care my friend.
Still looking for rain. They keep saying we'll get some but it never shows.
Looking good man !!
Thanks Jonny 👍 I hope I get enough seed produced for a shoot.
Cervus hey
Hi Randle 👋👋
I'm with ya Cerv, my front yard looks like a hay field, we definitely some good rain days! Take Care Sir.
You got that right! Thanks Bob!!
Keep it up Cervus

Georgia weather has been brutal. Im praying that you get more rain Cervus. It was still good to see the Sunflowers that did grow..
Thanks Bullets! My sentiments exactly.

Rooting for you man! I know that's stressful

It will over time. Normally we have dry Septembers and it kills a lot of pine trees. Maybe some of your rain will move south. I sure could use it.
That bites buddy, that drought is kicking your butt
Yes it is. A lot of hard work for very little return.
Hope the end result turns out good and wish you some rain.
Thanks so much JC. I may have got a little rain on the field this evening based on the radar. I'm sure hoping so.
Crossing my fingers for rain! 🤞
Thanks so much. Me too.
I hope you get some much needed rain
Thanks Paul! Me too.
Hopefully after the 4th rain is coming but let's hope it's not too much at once. Been 4th driest June in East Tn. Less than an inch in 4 weeks. 🥵

I figured it would turn off dry

I think Branden talked to our garden too it's not growing, Green beans is about all we are eating 🤬
I guess he taxed the clouds out of their moisture. Just nothing happening. June rain amounted to a 1/4 of an inch for the entire month.

I'd surely take it. I've heard that this has been the driest June in a very long time. I think we have a 1/4 of an inch on record for June.
Have you got rain we finally got rain and the forecast shows lots more every day
