Is it that bad that I pick fights with dead authors? Charles Dickens body shamed an infant in David Copperfield,; in Pèsuasion Jane Austen denigrated a character who mourned her son as others thought her son was a jerk when alive; U.S. Grant called out an officer as a coward in his memoir. Don't speak ill of the dead? I hope they hear me from here. Am I bad, Dave?
