@@youngrios having driven both FWD and RWD quite hard I personnally think it's easier to bring back a rwd from an unexpected slide. (before the point of no return of spinout, mind you). FWD swings very hard on the pendulum since you can't have rear wheels spinning to reduce traction
I'd like to say thank you to all those drivers who love this track so much that they are actively helping it grow, expanding its boundaries a few inches at a crash!
George Badass yes, I have. Insane crash, but I bet this civic driver took more G's. It's an almost head on impact, whereas the megane glanced it a little more.
I don't really think it's the work of ESP in that case, looks more like a driver who knows how to react. And besides: In some cases ESP can do more harm than good. For example in my Ford Focus MK2, the ESP will just try to stop the front tires from loosing traction. When the car understeers it would make a good job, but the big problem is that most of the time my car starts to oversteer and if you try to keep the power down to straighten the car out.... well... the ESP tries to stop you from doing that, because your tires start spinning. Since the first 2 instances where I just missed the curb by inches because of that dumb ESP, I started to switch it off as soon as the road might get slippery.
After watching a bunch of these videos, and compilations, I have came to the realization, that e36, e46, and e90 bmws crash more than all others put together bruh

There is at least one way to guarantee you will complete this course without having to pay for repairs to your favorite ride. Here are some examples of those who should learn one of those ways. Remember not only that speed kills, but speed is not always your friend.
Bud Fields no, speed doesn't kill. What kills is thinking you can go fast without any experience and/or with a random car. If you are a skilled driver and your car is safe, speed is still a risk, but a much lower risk. Many of these people are just amateurs going over their car's limits, probably without knowing what it was.
@@chrissss696 agreed, I've also seen slow incompetent drivers kill too. I had a girlfriend who swerved her car off the road at like 30mph and slammed into a tree so she could avoid hitting a squirrel. Luckily nobody was on the bike trail next to the road.
Poor E46 M3 at 7m37s He must break on the curb because of the slow Porsche GT4... i wondering how many crash happened on the ring because of the wrong line users and slow drivers?
The best way to appreciate the 'Ring and save money on repair bills is to buy a Xbox One (S, X or S disk-free), Forza Motorsports 5,6 or 7 and select Nordschelife and "go to town."
Or you can just go to a normal track and don´t start with the nordschleife and hit the throttle has much as you can. Thats what a lot of the guys are doing. And they crash mostly.
+CF88DRUM Exactly, thats how I did it. I started out with Kartracing before even thinking about taking one of my cars on a racetrack and then started with "easier" tracks like Hockenheim, Oschersleben and the Eurospeedway in Lausitz. Alltogether I've now got around 10.000 KM in drivingexperiences when it comes to racetracks and I think I'll now finally will give the ring a try in 2017.
Not sure if I have commented on here before but its always nice to see me in my Silver Fabia going across the grass @ 1:30 to avoid a spinning Lotus! Haha! MEMORIES. Somewhere I probably have the dashcam footage saved!
Good vid thanks. The good point of the Ring is you can take your shopping car along, the bad point [good for us!] is these drivers show very little experience at driving quickly. I saw many drivers not attempting to correct course mid accidental drift. Always trying to pick up any useful tips as I want to have a go at it in 2017,and don't want to be in the next Vid!
There’s nothing more entertaining than watching a BMW or Porsche being dynamically restyled. Watching other marques get monstered is also quite satisfying. But the highlight would be to see an aggressive Audi driver cash in his chips. I just wonder what these muppets tell their insurance companies.
1st car: Lamborghini. You see the action, you think "he's gonna save it". He does. 2nd car: Porsche. You see the action, you think "he's gonna save it". He does. 3rd car: BMW. You see the action, you just wait for the crash on the walls.
I bet a lot of these people needed a new set of pants especially the near miss ones. Well there's one good thing about this circuit. There's less BMW on the road.

yes, I have. Insane crash, but I bet this civic driver took more G's. It's an almost head on impact, whereas the megane glanced it a little more.
What year was the R32 doing a barrel roll...?
It was truly insane. After the first impact, it seems the car travels in fast forward to the second impact. Scary shit
real question is did he live
The Megane at 6:30 handled it like a champ.

I'd say that rent 4 ring Swift driver had a very lucky escape. His wallet on the other hand.
Some say he will be in debt for the next 20 years...
You pay around 50-150 euro to hire a car and if you crash it you'll have to pay 2000-3000 euro in excess. So no you won't be in debt to that degree.

Do they build BMW's with inverted steering wheels? Where if the turn goes left you need to steer right?
How many of these crashes started with the driver saying “ watch this “
Was that the same driver at the end each time Lol!
How do they record these? Won't they run out of space after recording for hours? Or do they save like that minute of action? Curious
