Toyota Tundra on 37s with Only a 2.5" Lift

- In this video, we talk about the lift and wheels on our 2020 Toyota Tundra.
We went with Icons for suspension and we absolutely love them! We have had Fox, Kings, and now Icons. We don't have any regrets with going Icons at all, it rides so well all around.
For the tires, we went with Method Con 6 and of course BFG for tires. The tires are a KM3, which is super beefy and completes the look, in our opinion.

This my dream set up! same color, supercharged on 37s 🔥
Lol everytime I see him on the video. I think, “man this dude is high af”
Dudes a freakin airhead
Can you tell me the exact specs on the wheels and tires? offset etc? I want to do the exact same thing on my 2016 Tundra. About to install 7" lift. Thanks! =]
Nice, this is a best channel for Toyota enthusiast
🙏
Hard to believe it doesn't rub at all on the front based on tire dimensions and only a 2.5 level kit. I run 37x13.5xr20, Bilstein5100 leveling kit set at highest, and i had to do frame chop, trim fenders lower section, trim the front bumper and the inside of the front bumper as well AND I STILL RUB ON FULL LOCK ONLY.
Sorry to revive an old post but 0 offset wheels, pinch weld being cut rewelded/or cut and folded, and the fender liner being pulled back will clear 37’s on a leveling kit. Granted it will rub on full lock since the tire hits the frame but it’s pretty minimal
And of course cab mount chop
Sorry +15 to +25 offset
@@ZaoHuZhuaafter the bmc does it still rub? When u turn?
I have almost identical setup minus wheel offset and tire size but would love to run 35’s with the 0 mm offset wheel but needed to know what position did you set the spc balljoints to for maximum tire clearance while keeping good caster. Thanks
37’s on a 2 1/2 inch lift is pretty impressive
Gear Runner its pretty fucking stupid
Gsfbffx Pdhhdf why? 🤔.
@@Rockdaground Because their rubbing al over the place.
This will not perform offroad that well without catching the fender. Doing a small lift on big tires is for show only.
@@snscustomdesigns62 pre runners?
Planning on doing the same in the future right now I’m running 285/80/17r falcons with fuel covert wheels and a 2 1/2 leveling kit but I want to go bigger lol your set up is sick ass fuck definitely doing that
Do you have any stock 3rd gen taco TRD OR parts laying around for sale??? I need a right front headlight assembly. I need a tailgate. I also need a rear bumper with the back up sensors.??? If you don't have anything could you ask around and or direct me to someone that might have the above parts. THANKS A MILLION. Nice work on all your toys!
The Tundra is AWESOME!
How is there no rubbing with 37s ?? I would like to see a video of this tundra full turn and see if it rubs ??
Some trimming and cutting, nothing crazy.
How bout a video on HOW you moved bracket??
Jeez dude... fire your camera man! Your truck is nice but I can't tell because all your video is closeups. STAND BACK and film that beauty!
Camera work was fine
@@Mike-nq7fnIt’s not… the video thumbnail is great but the video is 🗑️.
What’s your mpg with the 37 on it? I’m gonna be getting new tires and I was thinking 35 but 37 looks so good too. I have a 2018 tundra
Probably 8-10mpg.
@@mattsantiago if regeared, much better. I ran 4.88 in mine c and could get 15-16
2018 tundra honestly you can run 40’s cause of the engine size I’m thinking about running 37’s on my v8 4.7 L tundra
Tundra is one of the few off road trucks (full size or larger) that actually look good with 35s...Most don't.
I'm happy with my 35 12 +mpg so far looks good and I'm not worried about ripping off my quarter panels. Ide change the gear ratio if you go 37
The icon upper control arms are not adjustable? Great looking truck btw.
Damn BEAST love the set up
Do you still have grill vid coming? I’m considering for my ‘20 Off Road.
I have the same truck can I run my stock gears if I get 37’s?
Where did you get Trd Pro grill?
...we wrapped the roof to protect the paint-
30 seconds earlier we did a full body chop for 37”s though 🤣
angle grinder or plasma cutter not included
Looks awesome guys! Notice very much power loss from those tires? I have 2020 trd pro and always impressed with the power stock. Sometimes I think the rating is to the wheels.
Need to re gear for the bigger tires so you don't have the power loss in fuel economy loss. Nitro gears!
How is the ride.. must be bumpy
I watched the video where they removed the front bumper and put a new one and I’m wondering if you guys can sell the bumper, if they fit in a tundra tss 2021
How u got urs without rubbing
That is perfect thats how I want my rims and tires to look. Looks full and tough. Can you give me the exact lift front and back and rims and tire sizes please?
2.5" of lift in the front and 3" in the rear. Wheels are 17x8.5 0 offset, tires are 37x12.5
@@Runnin4Tacos thank you !
Looks sweet jacked w/those tires.
Any chance you guys would sell the emblem oberlays seperate? One of mine flew off on the freeway.
We can!
Patrick Mortel R4T Ok great is that available on the site?
Jad Kalek which overlay do you need?
Patrick Mortel R4T I need a Tundra Iforce 5.7L V8 overlay.
Jad Kalek here you go!

Quick question man I just got a Voodoo Blue TRD off-road Tacoma and I wanted to get the TRD pro grille so I checked ur website and they where sold out. Do u know when they will be back in stock?
sweet truck man... im jelly
Did you regear? If not does it drive much different then 35's
Great video! But how do you put 40’s?
Just don’t turn
We're are you guy's located at you mentioned mountain states I'm guessing you're in denver
Few minutes away from Mountain States!
I want 37s on my 2.5 level, but 35s barely fit
I am installing a 4/2 ready lift kit on my tundra would it fit 37s with +1 offset and a BMC?
You'll need to cut pretty aggressively more than likely. A BMC will help but you'll have to consider the wheels and tires you are going to put on
Yes, and you'll need SPC UCAs to move the caster forward. We got them at Runnin4Tacos.com
@@Runnin4Tacos Thanks Twonz ! I was looking at doing -12 xf offroads 220 20x10s with 37x12.5s With the BMC. I think that is achievable ? if not what would be the best option offset wise i could get away with you think ?
Does Runnin4tacos sell the black hardware for method wheels? I have silver ones and I’ve always wanted to swap them out for black ...
We don't. But can certainly get some for ya.
Patrick Mortel R4T how so?? I’m down
I should stop watching TH-cam so I can finish my work and then install my grille lights later...
Walt Wilson Haha it's only a few minutes 😉
Taco Twonz I have to figure out how to splice to drl and regular headlights so may be a little longer bc I’m a terrible mechanic/electrician
I live in Denver. Do you guys have a shop?
We do! Currently moving to a bigger facility. Stop by sometime!
@@Pavimo_ where?
Hi my tundra has a 6 inch lift on 35s would 37s clear without any mods?
Damn I keep kickin myself for not getting calvary blue for my taco! Tundra looks good 🤘
You can buy vinyl in almost any color and do a vinyl wrap in your garage. It is time consuming but not that difficult. th-cam.com/video/SJ7MgjZPEdc/w-d-xo.html
I agree ☺️
Does larger tires cause you not to stay in top gear when at highway speed? I ask because a jeep guy went from his stock 31's to 33's which were also wider & he stated that at highway speeds it kept downshifting on the slightest ofn hills @ highway speeds so he was going back to stock size or maybe try 32's
The Tundra has no issues at all
@@Runnin4Tacos Thanks
I have been in the jeep "community" for over 10 years and have never heard of anybody have that issue. That sounds like one guy who had transmission issues that he blamed on the tires.
Looks good
Looks sharp, should be fine as a urban truck.
37s x 12.5 on 17” rims. What off set? Thx!
0mm offset
Do you think you could fit 37s without the spc adjustment, I am interested in doing it but am currently using JBA uca's and not really looking to change them out.
It is highly doubtful
What's the offset on the wheels? Also, post a link to your uca.
0 offset.

Re gear??
Whats the spc part number?
Mine is rubbing on 3" lift
Is there any rub on 37"s?
Been waiting for this vid lol...
Do you run on this setup?
Man! This is an awesome setup! Any issues with transmission/TCU with the oversized tires? How about axle/CVs & transfer case? Did you mod any of that stuff in order to accommodate those tires? Did it need an ECU recalibration or anything? I have a 2018 nissan titan with 2.5” icon kit & 35s. Id love to put 37s on it But everyone has told me itd be like +15k in mods to get that done. Can you advise?
No issues at all. No, we did not recalibrate either. I wouldn't be able to help you there with it not being the same truck
How much lift on the back
3”
DOING IT
can i do it on a platinum?
Of course you can
@@Runnin4Tacos is the tundra air like the sequoia? what are my options? I want to fit a set of 37" MT Mud Terrains. also. is the stock bbs wheel not wide enough to fit a 37? i dont really want aftermarket. i like to keep my look factory but not, you know?
@@Runnin4Tacos Well im doing it! :D just wish you were closer! lol im in comox bc canada
i ask because im trading in my plat sequoia for a plat tundra.
also do you know any vendors looking for ambassadors up north?
Does it rub when turning the steering?
Not at all
What is the offset on the wheels?
0 offset
Nice truck.
Did you change the final gear.
I would hope they went to a 4.56 at least, preferable a 4.88...Get's the mpg's back up significantly....
What gear do you use to record your videos?
teranceo Sony A7III, Rode Mic, PolarPro ND Filter.
Oh and Sony 24-70 2.8
What would this cost?
Did u re gear ur diff ?
No sir, supercharger is making up for it
That’s a lot of rubber! 👍
Hi
Did you regear ?
Not yet but we have a supercharger at the moment
@@Runnin4Tacos hi again
I’m going to install 37” Nitto ridge grappler tire on my 2014 tundra 1794. I have 3” lift. I am not going to tow anything at all so can I keep the stock gear? I don’t really want to Regear( cost quite $) so will I still be good without Regear?
Thanks again
Why not 39s? 🤔
True, should of done 40s
Very Nice 🤘🏻
If that truck ever goes off road, the first rut or dip it hits, those 37's are going to rub...alot...if not too the fender well guards off completely
make more amber taco raptor lights plz
Just waiting on harness supplies
Finally 👍🤙🏽🙌🏽more! more! more! Lol
You got ig?
@Runnin4Tacos
Nice
Good video but maybe detail truck prior to video and talk a little fast. Nice truck too.
Only a newer tundra 07-up can make 37’s look like it’s on 33’s..
How it should look. 6”or 8” to fit 37 looks no bueno in my eyes but f it to each their own
"Anything else" lmao
6 inch suspension looks better. Trust me
bro Nice truck But you put very small wheel and that style is for old trucks
Less wheel, more sidewall.. looks more aggressive and is functional when off-roading.. that style wheel is not for old trucks.. just because they aren’t 22x14 American Forces does not mean they are old school.
Glug, glug, glug
Truck is dirty and video should have better lighting
Go follow a mall crawler page if you crave that pavement princess look.. these guys do amazing work and they actually use the truck for wheeling and heavy off-roading.
Good luck taking that off road. Will rip your fenders right off. 6 inch lift is needed for 37. Better aproach angles and departure and room to flex the suspension. Such a shit set up. Yall have no clue how to set up for off road.
We're not building it to rock crawl.
Gsbfxx negative people like you is what we call haters
You obviously don't know what can be done without a 6 inch lift. I know guys without lift and 37s that function on trails. The have higher offset to get it done as well as uca's to get more caster
What a dipstick thinking you need a 6" for 37s. Plenty of ppl run 2.5" to 3" lifts on 37s
