Andre, everything you hate is exactly why I want this truck. Give me a simple, functional, reliable truck everyday over what Toyota is turning out today. I don’t need bells and whistles, I need to get from point A to point B and haul some shit. That’s it.
@@clcmarc seems like having a rear locker wouldn't be that big of a hit on simplicity and reliability, and it could be useful when hauling or towing off-road.
This^^^ is why people that buy Toyotas do! If I wanted all the bells and whistles I could get a Ford and deal with all the break downs and expensive repairs. I do not want that in a truck! I can add any of those through the after market and usually get better products like Car Stereos I can buy better systems if I want them later on and the same for anything else.

The lack of tech and bells and whistles is why the truck is reliable. I will agree that the lack of a rear locker is just corner cutting by Toyota but the other stuff is what keeps it reliable. Toyota doesn't make vehicles reliable with magic and pixie dust. They keep their vehicles reliable because there very slow to adapt new tech and keep things simple. What your seeing today with Toyota and all the fancy bells whistles and tech is one of the many reasons there having so many issues.
@djjd3027 I'm not sure, lack of suspension squat, superior interior design, quality cruise control, good interior storage, simple but updated infotainment, nav, gauge camera/backup camera, and drive mode technology. Constitutes a difference in reliability if it's not present in a truck I agree with the tiny tire, rear lock, and to a degree the awd
That PRO rear FOX suspension is supposed to be soft for off road stability. It's not meant to be a trailer hauling queen. But you can add air bag boosters to give you that towing stance you need.......
Technically, yes. Unless one puts on a new set and then jacks it up so they are not being driven on. But even then, they are no longer new once you have bought them. :P
The reason the Safari Snorkel is so big is because it is designed to be able to deliver the maximum airflow the engine can take. ( no restriction). A lot of 4WD vehicles here in Australia are fitted with them ( including my TD42TD Patrol). We have a lot of corrugated roads with fine bull dust. A raised intake draws in cooler, cleaner air.
Had a 2010, 14 and 20. All basically same truck and I loved them. Other trucks made me envious of technology and other things, but my Tundras never ever failed me and id buy another if they hadn’t switched to stupid new model
Your complaints about old tech are 10x better than the tech in my truck! I really laughed about the gauges. I have never had any gauge but the general gauges! Red bad white good
Not needed out here in the west. As long as you wash your vehicle including the undercarriage after each snow, you'll be fine. I live in the same suburb as Andre; my 2012 GX460 has no rust.

My brother has a 2021 Dodge ram 1500 that just had the screen go out and luckily he still had his warranty because the screen was $5200. What I love about the tundra screen is it’s the perfect size not too big not too small and if you gotta replace it it’s only $600.
@@SuperSnakePlisskenRam would have taken care of him, even out of warranty, they hooked me up with the racetrack taillight on my Durango when it was almost 5 yrs old. Only charged $100 for labor.
You shouldn't carry the hitch in the passenger compartment. In the event of a roll over or accident you don't want the 25lb of steel to be dancing with you in the cab.
Yah, I see lots of people that have all sorts of unsecured stuff in their cab. All of that become projectiles in a crash. Which is also why I won't even start the car if my passengers are unbelted. Inertia and momentum don't care if you didn't anticipate an accident.
The biggest reason you stated imo .. is the LACK of space under the rear seats.. that’s like a MUST for me , I keep soooo much stuff under my rear seat, including jumper cables , my pew pew for hunting , tow straps , a fishing setup just incase I see a juicy spot when I’m traveling , ratchet straps , all kind of stuff .. that’s a BIG downer
Yea tbh, finding that out after I bought the truck would have set me off too 😂 specially considering how big the seats are. But if you love the truck you will find a solution. You have a bigger bed to work with than in a Colorado so that’s a start.
@@al-ew3mj ik what you’re talking about , but it’s still very very small space compared to a ford , I wish all trucks would do what ford did tbh , the entire back seat flooring is flat , so it’s soooo much space
I’ve got a 2019 TRD Pro- bought it used 2 years ago with 55k miles. Today it has 70k miles. It has been amazing. I can’t wait to see what you do to fix your 8 things, but all in all, the cost to do so is way cheaper than buying a new one. And that engine is proven. Nitto Ridge Grapplers do the trick. You can get a compartment installed under the rear seats for storage. Glad to have made my 2019 TRD Pro a member of the family!
FYI you don't have to hold the key to start the truck, turn the key and let go and the truck cranks as needed. Owned my 2019 4 years before realizing this lol. There is a mod to cut underneath the seat for storage as well as one for a wireless charger in the armrest.
I've owned multiple generations of Silverados and I know that back to the 99-07 generation was able to start the engine by turning the key and letting go. It sure becomes a habit to where cars that don't do that, the engine turns over and dies 😆
I personally like the small screen: call me old fashion or outdated but the smaller screen means less distraction. Also it is nice to see buttons all over the center infotainment system, especially when changing the radio channel to the volume.
Andre needs to do a video showing us the snorkel in action first. I want to see him drive in a lake with the hood under water. I think that will solve the snorkel appearance problem in the save video.
Andre, I have the same infotainment system in my ‘16 Lexus NX. I’m able to use voice commands to set my Nav destination by activating the voice command on the steering wheel, waiting for the prompt and saying “address”. It prompts you for the destination. Works 99% of the time.
Andre you also have standard cruise control along with the adaptive. Push and hold the cruise button for about 3 or 4 seconds when you turn it on, the cruise icon on the dash will change. I prefer it myself on my 4Runner.
@@AnyBodyWannaPeanut also reason I asked is that I borrow my aunt’s Prius for two weeks, unbeknownst you can disable adapted radar for the cruise control.
2:00 Andre, your iPhone will stand securely on a perfect angle just on the left side of the centre console. You were trying to put it in the third cupholder in the front, move it to the left 6 “ and it will wedge in perfectly. I was super happy after I found this out in my tundra.
Sometimes I feel bad watching people dislike simple things like backup cameras while I am trying like hell to keep my 2002 Crown Vic just running and taking me to work...

Love my Tundra. Same problem with storage. Recommend getting a DECKED system. Well worth the money. Careful placing your phone on the dash. It will get crazy hot in the sun. Gas mileage is just what you said. Expected. The dealer actually told me when I was looking at mine “The Tundra will pass anything but a gas station”. He was not wrong.
The list of complaints is so petty it's pretty clear he bought the truck specifically to make TFL Truck content. He'll probably be replacing this truck in a year.
Hmm. I’m not sure how I feel about this video. Seems like some of the complaints are a bit of a stretch. I drive a 2010 4 runner and I love it and all of its weird quirks dearly, but when I drive my wife’s 2018 Honda CRV, boy those modern features are nice to have and I really appreciate them. Hate just seems like such a strong word when you knew exactly what you were getting into. If there was one thing I hate on my 4Runner though would be setting up Bluetooth on the antiquated radio. So as you plan to do, I fixed by picking up a twenty dollar auxiliary Bluetooth adapter. Thanks for the video, Andre. I hope the truck continues to grow on you and look forward to those updates.
Limited Slip is sufficient for snow and most off road. You don't need a locker. But an open diff is a handicap. I added limited slip to an old Wrangler and it was a major improvement. I tested it out by driving challenging mud/snow climbs in 2WD, and it worked great. My used Taco came with limited slip, also. I didn't know until I actually drove it for a while. Works great, no fuss.
Locker can also only be used in 4wd low too 99.9% of the time unless you modify the truck. My 08 tacoma had mechanical lsd which was great now everything is brake actuated b.s.
For on road winter driving an open diff with 4 Auto is the best setup. Then off road you want a locker to perform best in both situations. Ram’s 4x4 option is the way to go. I’ve had all setups and 4 auto with an electric locker is the best.
@moonwalker8172 for on road snow driving, symmetrical AWD is far and away the best. It's not even close. Limited slip is superior to open rear diff, both on and off road, in snow. Doesn't have the crazy good handling of symmetrical AWD., but it doesn't just spin a rear wheel when one is sitting on ice. And open diff 4wd is still inferior to true AWD. Automatic with extra cooling is good for some things off road, but just using 4Lo is fine for most, and manuals don't burn up.
@@barrydworak I agree symmetrical AWD is the best available in automobiles, however trucks aren’t available with that option. That’s why 4 auto with open differentials is the best truck system for slick conditions. Contrary to what many think, the anti-slip differential is actually not the best for icy driving since it creates a push condition (crabbing condition) and reduces steering.
Andre, you made this episode during one of the heaviest snowstorms that Colorado has faced for several years. Thank you for being tough and gutting through this. Also, the nasty weather actually helped you demonstrate some the issues you faced. Well done, sir!
That one time when the hurricane flooded the strip mall and I had to rescue Grandma from her hair stylist. Or some other nonsense that went through the person's head when they drilled the fender for that plastic appendage.
I have a 2012 GX460 that is lifted w/ 34s on it.. has the 4.6 in it and gets around 11 in town, 13 on the highway. There's definitely a reason this thing has smaller tires on it... Lol.
2019 was a good year. The year before the pandemic. I bought a 2019 Frontier pro 4X and a 2019 BMW X3. So far zero issues. That was the last year that oems still cared about quality control and maintained good quality from suppliers. Those days are GONE. I have no desire buying anything new anymore. Just too many problems.
I have a 21 Ford Ranger. 70K miles. I live in Wyoming near the Northern Win dRiver Range. Drive at elevation daily. I have yet to have a single issue. My previous 14 Tacoma had 3 warranty repairs before 36K. When are all these "problems" supposed to happen?
Stop complaining all the time Jesus christ. When that shit finally gives i guess you'll be stuck like the rest of us. Sorry your life is that disappointing.
The very 1st thing i did when I purchased my 2020 TRD Sport brand new, was replace the entire stereo. Head unit, speakers, and amplifier. What a difference it made. I have the double cab, which has the storage under the rear seat. Very odd that there is no storage under the seat in the Crew cab, especially seeing the crew cab is much larger area than a double cab.
Number 3 is a big reason why I sold my Ranger Tremor for something with AWD. Where I live, we get a lot of sleet/freezing rain/slush. Rarely get any actual constant sticking snow. Cant run 4hi unless you’re off-road or on actual snow without risk of binding and damaging the drivetrain. Anything wet you’re stuck in RWD.
That's why I love my 2011 Silverado, it has "auto" 4WD. Even had it in my 2005 Jimmy! Works perfect, especially if the wife has to use it...don't need her playing with the 4X controls and doing something blonde! LOL...
3:00 I actually like my cruse control set to the longest distance. It’s less stressful and calm. Longer distances has a smoother. Riding too close is stressful and sketchy.
I wish mine had a longer follow distance available. The longest available is too close for me on a long straight interstate. @@302Mustang13I do agree with this. Hopefully in the future there will ba a "Don't let that BMW cut in front of me" setting.
Andre, for extra gauges for monitoring transmission temps and several other things I bought a ScanGauge 3. It works great on my 2016 Tacoma and was easy to set up. Much nicer when towing to see those transmission temps and oil temp and water temp.
I have an ‘09 GMC Sierra that was feeling out of date, but I put a Sony XAV-9500ES headunit with wireless Apple CarPlay in it. I was amazed how much better I feel in the truck now, I stopped having feelings that I needed a whole new vehicle to have the features I wanted. Do recommend!
I did the same update to my '02 Sequoia. Changed radio and map/dome lights, swapped out wheels and grill. Replaced/repainted sun-baked trim and headlights. Breathed new life into it. Not expensive to do and it's exactly how you want it.
all I know is the v6s really scared off a lot of customers. I was just able to scoop up a 24 with only 15 miles for about 10k under msrp. Hopefully Toyota got things straightened out lol fingers crossed
Thank you for your honest videos I’ve owned all generations of tundras… I’ve owned F1 50s … I went back to the new tundra over the issues I was having with F1 50s I still think it’s better than the previous generations. I think most people have to understand that anything that was manufactured during Covid era is going to have problems doesn’t matter what brand. When you start and stop assuming lines it creates complications that the most reliable brand can’t escape!
I used to carry my hitch, recovery hooks and tools under the back seat, then I realized how dangerous all that is in the cab. I installed a swing-away toolbox in the back of the bed. It's now all organized and safe. Fix your squat with airbags. The rest of your complaints are because your truck is 10 YEARS OLD and so is all the tech on it.
@ragtopdeluxezl1 I think he's referring to that model, which came about in 2014, and Toyota didn't really do upgrades on it the rest of that generation.
Heads up that SD card is a specific use feature. It means your car can use autonomous satellite gps and not rely on cellular triangulation for location and mapping. This is something many off roaders like because without cell signal many apps lose feature functionality. Your car does both and you still navigate your trails.
@@mradamp125 completely correct. I love this feature in my Tacoma. It’s not fun when your phone GPS(Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto) doesn’t work because you do not have cell signal. I see this feature as a positive.
What? In order for your truck to be tracked by GPS it needs a GPS satellite signal. If you don't have that signal then I don't care how magic the SD card is, your truck won't show up on the map. The only thing the SD card does is allow you to update the maps of the manufacturers Nav. Let me know how much it costs to get a new map SD card and how many people actually pay to update it? Yes... If you are using CarPlay or android auto they need a cell signal. But if you don't have that signal, you can always switch over to the manufacturers Nav which also stores its maps in the flash memory of the head unit (same as having an SD card). The only difference is that you don't need an SD card to update those maps, they are done every once in a while over the air. Their is absolutely no benefit or advantage of having an SD card reader to update your maps.
@@jraguilar86 Phones have a built in GPS chip and receiver. Where are people getting this idea that the GPS doesn't work without cell signal...? I have used my phone in the middle of the ocean, and it still shows speed and direction as the GPS still works...
A couple of points. You did a good job of highlighting "annoyances" for an everyday driver. Now comments. My wife's '18 XLE hybrid has the same exact size screen and set up and that was 6 years ago. I asked my dealer what it would cost for the Toyota SD card to update the maps and he said 140 dollars with the official Toyota card. I said no thank you. Can buy aftermarket but never want to do that as it may put a virus into it. The truck is overpriced but we all knew that. Minor point, you tell me that with this set up thery don't include side steps and mud guards. Side steps are more than in and out help, you can scrape your boots on them and get some of the mud off. That's it.
I got a Gladiator Willys over the Rubicon so I could have the 4x4 AUTO. We get a lot of snow and it is nice to just leave it auto when it smows. It works fabulous and with the LSD diff its even better.
I just got done with a 3 day trip. My new van only has AM/FM radio. No info center. Yet. I used my cellphone for navigation. The way Google is doing their navigation. It is extremely better than the info centers. If you're using android. I did the same with the 2024 transit cargo van. Supper little technology. Only the 3.5l. Yet. It does come with the modes. One mode is 4 low. The van is AWD. 4 low works amazing. I had to use it. You will find storge, etc.
I had to replace the engine in my v8 tundra at 150k apprently the head gasket design pits the block causing it to leak. I think these trucks are over rated.
Hi. With respect to the 4wd system, the reason why it is slow to engage on full size Toyota trucks, is because most people leave it off most of the year. In their manual, Toyota recommends turning your 4wd system on and off every several thousand miles. It keeps the system actuators from becoming sluggish.
His reasons for getting a new truck are getting lamer. First, no cruise control. Next, no phone holder. Then it is going to be something like my truck doesn’t match my pocket knife. 🤪🤪😂😂
@@garretlewis4103😂😂 I think if you love a truck you will find a solution for any problem without complaining. If you don’t like a truck you will make everything a bigger problem than it is. What he really meant was that he wants to put his phone someplace he can see it. He could just wear pants while driving and keep it put away in his pocket. Safer for all of us. Just sayin.
TFL, I have a 2020 and love it. Just a few other things I dislike. 38gallon gas tank. Fuel light comes on at 26gallons used and shows 0 miles at 30gallons. That’s 8 gallons till actual empty. Next, fuel door. Cheep and opens easy Cup holders suck. Still love the truck and not planning on getting rid of it for a very long time and not looking either.
Pretty standard for trucks of this generation that are gas V8. My ram gets 15 avg if I’m lucky. Around town more and I’m at 11. Long trips where I can use my cruise steady I’ve gotten 19 in great conditions. Towing I can get up to 14 but avg 10-11.
No lockers, terrible crash test ratings & awful fuel economy are the 3 reasons I didn’t buy that era tundra, plus my nearest Toyota dealerships are terrible - you agree on a price and they bring you the paperwork with thousands added on - then you spend hours arguing to get it back to the original price...I don’t want the baby badger protection plan for $1000. They will fix the interior if a baby badger rips it up. I don’t want the $1500 French Foreign Legion protection plan - it replaces your windows if broken out by a Legionnaire. I don’t want your Walmart quality floor mats for $450. On & on & on for hours...
Are you sure "HATE" is the right word for how you feel about what you want to change on your truck? Traction: Installing a mechanical limited slip differential would improve your traction and kick in before the factory electronic LSD detects slippage ... honestly, AWD is designed for people that are not experienced drivers, and / or people that would rather let the computer figure it for them. What's the fun in that? Rear end squat: An Air-Lift air bag system with an on board air compressor will solve your squatting problem. Taller tires: There is plenty of information available about the tallest tires that will fit your 18" wheels without rubbing, and without a lift. Your other complaints fall into the category of 'comfort and convenience'... I'm more of a less-is-more / K.I.S.S. truck guy and prefer to avoid electronic whistles and bells in my trucks. Lucky for you, there are multiple aftermarket options out there ready to meet you wants, needs and desires for a fee.
Andre, for the cruise control; push and hold the on/off button for the cruise control lever on the column. That will make the cruise as non adaptive, old school in other words.
Andre, I've got a great mount dash mount which is magnetic and has a wireless charger in it. I got one on Amazon called UGREEN Wireless Car Charger Stand Compatible with MagSafe Car Mount Charger - don't know if it's available in the US but was about only £22 GBP and has a strong magnet and quick charging - also very stable and good glue to stick it to the dash. Highly recommend
As the owner of a 2007 Tundra (plow truck), and former owner of a 2017 Tundra, the lack of Automatic AWD eliminates this truck, and the new Tundra as well, from consideration. My HD 2500 Chev Duramax even has automatic AWD (along with 2WD, 4WD and 4WD low range) in the transfer case, so the arguement that they could not inclue AWD because the transfer case is "HD" is BS. I live in Minnesota and all winter I drive on mixed dry to wet to slippery to snow covered roads. Not really an option to drive in 4WD all the time with the mixed conditions!
For truck rear suspension towing height, I run aftermarket airbag helpers. There easy to install, no drilling, uses existing frame holes & spring unbolt mounts.
Beautiful truck Andre and welcome to the 2nd Gen Tundra family. I have a 2020 Limited 4x4 TRD-Offroad and I love it. The technology is a bit old, that's agreeable. U do plan I'm on upgrading the radio (already upgraded the speakers). I have lots of plans. Amazon has a few options for console organizers that are cool and useful.
You get to be kidding me, I can't believe you hating truck based on old technology when the truck is old truck!! That is most reliable truck in last twenty years
Adaptive cruise distances should always reset to the longest distance to remind the driver that if it's raining, snowing, or the vehicle is hauling, the shortest distance is too short for the breaking distance needed. It is for safety.
Got a 2020 Tundra 1794 and I love it. I have plans for things I want to do as well such as ditching the 20's for 18's and probably Road Active Suspension or Sumo Springs.
Cruise control saves your settings if you learn to use the lever properly. If you want to start using the same speed and distance as you had previously, press up on the lever, not down or cancel.
Something that didn’t make this list is lack of trans cooler. I don’t tow much so not a huge deal for me, but may be another thing to add on your list of upgrades.
No AWD mode is a deal breaker these days for me. Live in the mountains and drive in variable conditions, I don't want to worry about damaging my drivetrain turning a bunch in 4hi on dry stuff or constantly switching in and out of 2hi/4hi. It's one of the main reasons I drive an F150 instead of a Tundra.
@TheJohn8765 You're incorrect. I own one. It's not recommended. Now heavily snowed over icy, slushy pavement might be OK, but not direct contact asphalt. The front and rear diff are different. The Toyota Sequoia does indeed have a true full-time all wheel drive of those years, but the Tundra doesn't. Look it up!
So the thing is not made for snowy roads that have asphalt or pavement underneath them? When I go from work to home, or home to the store, or even home to the mountains, I find that pavement is a very nice thing to have. I haven't found much use for driving over rocks and trees and large gaps in the earth so far.
Some additional things Andre is going to hate. Braking when towing, OEM brake controller and the lack of good tow mirrors. I’m curious if TFL is going to add the supercharger to the Tundra. BTW, welcome to the Tundra club.
Love Andre, but is anyone else starting to wonder how the guy we all watch and consider a truck expert can’t seem to buy the right truck for himself? 😂
Andre you picked the perfect truck, I’m glad you are enjoying it! All cars and trucks have a quirkiness but we still love it. The color is super unique, I wish I got my 4Runner in the Voodoo Blue 🥹
I love those trucks Andre. You made an awesome purchase. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the mpg and like you say it's worth it for that fantastic engine. Your family will fit in it with room to spare and it will pull your boat as good as anything out there. I'm glad you got the blue one too because that is a good looking truck. I want to see all the videos on it.
And the 2UZ-FE 4.7L V8 on the first gen was even better and able to go 1 million miles. That was the best yota motor ever made and likely the best petrol engine in automotive history.
You can avoid the adaptive cruise by holding the cruise button down instead of just pressing it when you turn the cruise on. That'll give you old fashioned cruise control
My 2024 Colorado ZR2 lifetime fuel economy is 14.4 ..... Was expecting the 20 mpg owners claimed they got on their highway trips. Idk maybe their highway speed is 45? Had no idea it was as bad as a tundra 😕 i though those got 5-7 mpg!
ProClip makes a fantastic no-drill phone mount that positions the phone on the upper right hand corner of the dash where it’s easily visible but doesn’t block any vents or the display.
The average life of a battery is 3 to 5 years. I have replaced my battery in my car twice: the first time in 2019 and the second time in 2023. Don't wait over 5 years to replace the battery. When I replaced my battery both times, the terminals were covered in battery acid.

Aren’t we all driving around on used tires?
TFL replaces tires with every oil change
Technically, yes. Unless one puts on a new set and then jacks it up so they are not being driven on. But even then, they are no longer new once you have bought them. :P
And we all drive used cars
Tires on this Tundra are VERY used.

Still looks like sht...
The thing I hate about your Tundra is that I can’t buy a new one like that. The new ones are a huge downgrade in quality and reliability.
You better off buying a Silverado or f150 those are the only new ones with NA V8
Why did you put a snorkel on . Turn the intake around so the dirt and dust cannot go directly into the intake.
@edgarallanpoe9534 Silverado have turbo 4 cylinders not much reliability gain there

It should at least have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. My 7 year old truck does.
He's going through this because he'll be addressing each issue in future episodes 😊

You shouldn't carry the hitch in the passenger compartment. In the event of a roll over or accident you don't want the 25lb of steel to be dancing with you in the cab.
Why not, it won't hurt the hitch.
Yah, I see lots of people that have all sorts of unsecured stuff in their cab. All of that become projectiles in a crash. Which is also why I won't even start the car if my passengers are unbelted. Inertia and momentum don't care if you didn't anticipate an accident.

It's the same with ford's as well. It amazing people don't know this. It's basically like push start but you have to insert a key
Wow I wonder if any other trucks or cars are like that
I've owned multiple generations of Silverados and I know that back to the 99-07 generation was able to start the engine by turning the key and letting go. It sure becomes a habit to where cars that don't do that, the engine turns over and dies 😆

@@xziang yeah I have an 07. Works great.

LOL...

I used to carry my hitch, recovery hooks and tools under the back seat, then I realized how dangerous all that is in the cab. I installed a swing-away toolbox in the back of the bed.

Adaptive cruise distances should always reset to the longest distance to remind the driver that if it's raining, snowing, or the vehicle is hauling, the shortest distance is too short for the breaking distance needed. It is for safety.
Got a 2020 Tundra 1794 and I love it. I have plans for things I want to do as well such as ditching the 20's for 18's and probably Road Active Suspension or Sumo Springs.
the obsession with massive tires get's old. it's not a tonka toy.
I'm looking forward to the new improvements, especially the new tires. Great looking truck. Love the V8. Thanks for the update Andre'.
I would have waited for deals on new trucks... Why does long term reliability matter, you guys change trucks more than I change out shoes.
Andre, the Tundra's 4wd system is for off-road only! Running it on pavement might break something!
4-Hi should be able to work on-road just fine (unless Toyota did something stupid). People do that all the time.
Look it up!
@@Johnson13210to be fair all 4wd systems are not “recommended” for use on dry pavement. It doesn’t mean you can’t do it.
The cobblers son has no shoes
Can you use regular cruise control? Usually you can toggle the adaptive part off.
You are one of the most knowledgeable truck guys around. Don't complain about buying old technology. You know going in :)
You can avoid the adaptive cruise by holding the cruise button down instead of just pressing it when you turn the cruise on. That'll give you old fashioned cruise control
Good news is the 2034 model fixes all these issues ...
2034 LOL
Andre, great choice in truck mate. I do wish these were a bit more efficient. I’m also a fan of Everyday Driver podcast.
😮 My 2021 2500 6.6 gas gets better than that.
I just drive on main roads
35-55 it gets like 30-40
The lack of interior room was a reason I bought a 2015 Titan. Then in 22 went back to GMC and got a ten speed transmission better mpg
Have you tried keeping your phone in your pocket 🤣
how can he use it while driving tho
But if you recharge your phone in your pocket it will shock you just like the electric chair and you will die with your hair all frizzled. Won't it?
ProClip makes a fantastic no-drill phone mount that positions the phone on the upper right hand corner of the dash where it’s easily visible but doesn’t block any vents or the display.
You're crying about personal issues... Nobody wants an AWD pick-up. 🙄 Except Honda or Hyundai owners.
The average life of a battery is 3 to 5 years. I have replaced my battery in my car twice: the first time in 2019 and the second time in 2023. Don't wait over 5 years to replace the battery. When I replaced my battery both times, the terminals were covered in battery acid.
Ridiculous…
